The Karate Quest Dojo serves the residents and neighbors of both Warwick and Port Jervis with a unique blend of excitement, motivation and caring for their students that helps them reach their full potential. Group classes and private instruction in Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate-Do, Ryukyu Kobujutsu and Iaido (Japanese Swordsmanship) are offered to men, women and children ages four and older. History
Established in 1996.
The Karate Quest Dojo is a dojo (training hall) that was established by Glenn Finke to pass on traditional martial arts as well as have a positive and lasting influence for its members. Students as young as age 4 and into the golden years have been able to participate and train at the Karate Quest Dojo.

Business Owner
Glenn Finke has owned and operated the Karate Quest Dojo (with locations in Warwick and Port Jervis) since 1996. He has been training in the martial arts since 1979 and has been recognized with different degrees of Black Belt in Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate, Ryukyu Kobudo (Okinawa Weapons) and Muso Shinden-Ryu Iaido (Japanese Swordsmanship). Mr. Finke has also been a highly regarded competitor in traditional karate competition at the state, regional and national levels as well as representing the United States in international competition. He’s also had the opportunity (through his long-time martial arts teaching career and assistance his Black Belt staff) to pass on his knowledge of the martial arts through well-developed curriculum and unique teaching skills to men, women and children ages four and above. He resides locally in Orange County with his wife Donna and his children Glenn Jr. and Daisy.
