Fox Ridge Christmas Tree Farm

We had good weather and nice assistance at our tree venture.
After some home renovation I wanted the «perfect» tree and I think I found a nice one!
Fox Ridge was really busy Saturday — we waited a little for assistance but we were glad we did and the young guy was very careful helping us load our tree.
I used them last year and the tree lasted a long time and I just love the smell of a fresh tree.
The lights are up and this weekend the decorating party will take place…

My girlfriend’s family goes to Fox Ridge every year to pick out a Christmas Tree, and after a 4 year college hiatus, I went back today.
Fox Ridge is one of those places where the trees are grown on the property, and you walk around, find one you like, and have one of the workers cut it down for you. First off, this place is extremely popular. It was pretty crowded when we went, which is exactly how I remember it. Parking can be a hassle and you can end up a long way from the farm, but eh, roll with it.
They do have a whole bunch of trees, and we found one we liked in no time. The kid came, cut it down, and lugged it to the entrance. There you pay for it, and they wrap it in that weird christmas tree wrapping plastic/​mesh stuff. The cash register is in a trailer, and they have wreaths and whatnot you can buy.
I didn’t give Fox Ridge a five star rating because I’ve never purchased anything there myself, so I’m not sure how the price is, although the price of wreaths seemed pretty reasonable. It’s a fun place for families, and there were tons of little kids running around, which is a good sign in my eyes.
