After seeing the reviews of other posters on Unilocal,I decided to visit D&H about several dents on the hood and fender of my car that were caused by acorns. I’m sure glad I did! I walked in without an appointment and spoke with Dave. He got me in touch with a gentleman from Dent Magic who does paintless dent repair and I was able to make an appointment and bring my car back to D&H a few days later. Everyone at D&H was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. The 6 small dents were removed from my vehicle in under an hour. I couldn’t have asked for better service or better quality of work. Price was excellent, too. It cost me substantially less than what I was expecting. Highly recommend.

So my brother tried fixing my tail light and he just made things even worse. I googled the closest place that had the word auto in it. I needed to get this done asap. I talked to Dave and he was super nice and helpful. Told me to bring it in so he can take a look at it. I brought it in 10 minutes later and they took my car right away. I didn’t know this place was a collision center until after but they still took care of my light. If you’re looking for a place to get your car fixed. Def come here. Friendly helpful and clean. If I ever need anymore work done I will be back for sure.

I never post reviews for anything, but I felt compelled to take the time and recognize the efforts that these guys went through for me and my vehicle. My car had part of a tree fall into it, smashing my back window, caving in the roof, and even breaking a door handle off. David and his team fixed my baby up and literally made it look better than when I first got it. It looked amazing. They invited me to bring the car back after a month to give it another buffing and even tweaked the trunk lid because I noticed it wasn’t shutting as well as before. They even offered a free rental car after my insurance couldn’t cover mine anymore. The team was very respectful and professional throughout the whole process. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with this business. I highly recommend.

D&H is the best collision place. Dave the owner is very nice and humble. He makes sure your car comes out looking «NEW». All his employees are very polite and have great communication. I would highly recommend D&H for anyone who is looking to have their car looking phenomenal.

Dave handled everything with my insurance company who was trying to minimize the damages to my car. He put me in a rental while my car was being fixed. I was stunned when I went to pick my car up. The repair was seamless. You would never be able to tell where the damage was previously at. They really surprised me when they took care of some extra dings that were not part of the claim. Three thumbs up, if I had them!!! I highly recommend these guys.

Went to D&H after seeing their reviews to see if they did any paintless dent removal. Met with Dave (I assume owner) and he came out to look at the dings I wanted to work on (two in one door and one in another). He confirmed that they could be taken out (no supports behind them). He then gave me an estimate which was well below what I was expecting. An additional bonus was that their ‘ding guy’ was available that afternoon. The removal of all took under an hour and the price was very reasonable. I could not even see any sign of them once complete (and I am a bit of a stickler on these types of things). I have not been for more serious work, but know they will be my first call should I need any.
Very comfortable recommending them for dent removal.

I gotta agree with everyone else on the 5-​star rating. When my wife’s car was damaged in an accident we came here (unsure as to why, maybe our insurance company recommended it) and the car was repaired to like-​new status. A couple of weeks after we got the car back one of the back doors began to stick so we brought it back and they immediately took it into the repair center and fixed the issue. It’s been years since the accident and the car is still running like a charm.

After my experience there, it seems these 5 star reviews are legit. My vehicle was 4 months old with 4k miles on it… brand new. Had a heavy hit in the rear of my car. It took about 6 weeks to work it out, but I’m having a hard time finding any damage on my brand new car after their work was complete. The people you interact with, especially the owner, are on their game. Good communication, quality work and patience for the most part.
It takes me over an hour and a half commute to get to D and H and back to my home. I had to make this commute 3 times. It was worth it. I plan on going back if I need this type of service again. And I will update my review if there’s a change in continuity with the service.

This auto body shop is a hidden jewel in Rhode Island. I was recently referred here when I had an accident. I was assured nothing but exceptional service and that is exactly what I received. I was referred to David who made it his priority to address any concerns that I had and assured that my car would be returned in mint condition. Which he did! David went beyond customer service to repair my vehicle. His passion for perfection and attention to detail was reflected on his work with my 2006 BMW. I cannot thank him enough for his service. I have had auto body work before with my insurance preferred shops and never been satisfied nevertheless happy with their work. With confidence I can refer this shop to the worldwide net as well as friends and neighbors. Truly amazing work comes out of this state of the art collision center. From the moment you walk or call them regarding a claim or work needed to be done on your vehicle, they quickly handle the insurance claims, provide the rentals if necessary, deal with the adjusters, while doing it in the most professional and personable manner. The owner, David Hayes is very reassuring through his professionalism and trustworthy behavior towards his customers. His words to me –«Not a Problem» portrays the loyalty and integrity that he has built over the years with his customers. The shop offered me a ride home without any hesitation. They are very compassionate, considerate and extremely accommodating. In the end, their work is efficient, they are neat and very responsive. I highly recommend D&H Collision! You will not be disappointed — as a matter of fact, I can guarantee that you will also recommend them to your friends and family after your experience.

They did a nice job on my car after an accident and it looked as if it did before it was hit. But most importantly Dave is as standup as business men get. Especially when considering auto body and mechanics. You always here sad and crazy stories about how these types of businesses rip people off. Well not here, Dave (the owner) was about as stand up as you get. 2 weeks after I received my vehicle it needed to go back in after I didn’t feel like it was driving great. Dave said no problem and that he would take a look. Sure enough he found an issue that was not seen by the insurance appraiser. He said no problem and fixed it. To me that was awesome. But it didn’t stop there. This is what topped it all off for me. About 4 months later I was feeling something in the tire and sterring wheel that just didn’t feel right so I called Dave, and mind you this was 4 months later, and he said no problem I’ll take a look. He found something else and two days later I got the car back perfect, again. I would tell anyone who’s been in an accident or who needs body work done to the go see Dave and D & H Auto Body. I hope I never have an accident again in my life but if I do I will go to D & H.

D and H did an incredible job on my wife’s car which had been rear ended. The car looked brand new and detailed when we got it back. We had an issue with the rental car and the owner David took care of it for us right away. I highly recommend David and his staff.

If I could give this repair shop a rating from 1 to 10 it would be actually be an 11. I am extremely picky and meticulous with my car, and after I got into an accident with my new Audi I researched extensively online to make sure I went to the best. Needless to say they exceeded my expectations and did an extremely wonderful job! I would recommend them to anyone, even though the repairs took a little longer than I expected, they took the time to make sure they did the job right and I will be sure to let everyone I know about them. Thanks again D & H!

I started off 2012 with getting hit by a AAA truck and needless to say it was quite a discomfort to my 2010 Mazda 5. My Geico insurance recommended this repair shop because they offered some express repair. I’ve been told to avoid insurance recommended place so I did some searching and came upon D & H Collision.
A quick overview of the accident, my driver side door was completely smashed, glass and all to the point that you can’t open the door. There was also a gash on the sliding door. A little elbow grease and duct tape wasn’t going to do the job sadly.
D & H took care of me right away. I had to wait a few hours for a rental car return, but once one came in, a tow truck came and brought me and my vehicle to D&H. I was a bit taken back by how carefree David the manager was, but he assured me even though I didn’t have rental insurance, he’ll take care of it. I signed a few papers and was given my 2010 Dodge Avenger car rental which wasn’t great, but it did the job.
David worked it out with the Geico adjustor (took her a week to show up) and promptly started repairs. 3 weeks later I got my car back better than new! New door and window and it looked like my car was completely detailed down to the car rims and also had the new car smell.
Also he was able to remove some scratches on my bumper that wasn’t covered by my insurance as well as some smudges on my rear view mirror from a botched installation at my dealership. The job he did was worth the extra he charged me from the agreed upon final price with rental car.
All in all, the manager is a man of his word and I was very satisfied with the final results. I was also surprised to find that nothing in my car was taken like my bluetooth headset that I accidentally left in my car. Speaks alot about the integrity of the people at D&H.
Hopefully I don’t get into another accident but if I do I’ll definitely be sure to go here.

Wow I brought my car here after an accident, and I will be DEFINITELY be back if need be!
They were amazing. They got me a rental RIGHT away (my insurance covers it) and I had that for about 2 weeks while they did work. They made my car look better than when I bought it. It was buffed, polished and painted when I arrived. They detailed the inside, shampooed everything and went above and beyond what I expected!
I was so thankful the girl I work with recommended them, that I felt the need to share the good word!
