we had a very unpleasant experience yesterday at Chili’s on Baldhill Road the salsa was like water, the coffee was cold, the chicken was not done it was still under cooked the drink was ordered without ice and it was brought with ice and the bill came to $ 37 and there were three $ 10 gift cards and when the final bill came they had charged me for $ 17 not $ 7 never going back there!!!

I hated my experience there. The waiter was rude, the food took forever, and from my seat I could see into the kitchen and couldn’t help notice that all the people in the kitchen had no gloves, hairnets, and wouldn’t even wash their own hands! My food had a hair in it(No dah) my chicken wasn’t cooked enough. I loved Chilies and will try the other locations but I am never going back to this one.

Chilis has always been a hit or miss for me depending on either the location or how the stars happened to be aligned that particular day… in regards to the bald hill rd location, it’s pretty bad. Typical chain restaurant food that is actually served not fresh. Case in point: the rice is ALWAYSHARD!!! Like it’s been sitting out for hours and half the kernels just get dried up. SO gross considering they’re a «mexican» chain. The straw that broke the camel’s back was going tonight for the last and final time to be greeted and seated, and then be COMPLETELYIGNORED by both waitresses(mind you this was a slow Sunday night with only 4 other tables of customers !) I’ve never waited 20 minutes at a table with no service before. So ridiculous so we just got up and left.

Let me say first that I have always enjoyed Chili’s. That being said, last night, we stopped in for a bite of supper. Waitress seemed very rushed and distracted. We ordered drinks which took a while to get. We then ordered our app and entrees. During our 20 min wait for food, drink glasses were emptied and remained that way until we stopped our server and asked for refills. Wings were delivered, hot and tasty. From there, all downhill… entrees served very rudely. Wife’s salad soggy and drenched in dressing,(always served on the side) and server argued about how it should be served and seemed pissed of that we wanted it redone. Son’s burger bites and fries actually cold. My bottomless salad and soup were ok, but I wasn’t asked if I wanted a refill on either until we were ready to leave. The other server working in the area actually made more contact with us then our server. I must say that the manager came by and we voiced our concerns, and she seemed very receptive, but after talking with her, or server never made eye contact again and was flustered. When I asked her for take out containers, she literally dropped them onto the table along with the bill without even saying a word. I searched out the manager before I left and she was apologetic and kind, but seemed as if I hadn’t been the only one to complain. She said she would comp the meal, but I’m not sure if she did, I am still waiting on cc confirmation. Definitely will reconsider choosing this Chili’s location again. One more thing… We never got our chips and salsa which was definitely a let down.

Let me begin by disclosing that I am not a fan of chain restaurants. However, this One is truly an exemption! We prefer to sit at the bar at this location because the bartender Sara is superb! She is friendly, efficient, and is definitely on top of her game! The traditional Margarita was delicious and only $ 5.00 a perfect blend of ingred and of course, accompanied with Chili’s fresh nacho chips and salsa. A great start! Continued with their California flatbread pizza which was a pleasant tasting treat. Perfect thickness and cooked just right with nice combination of toppings. The chicken breast chili Mango was spicy hot. Beware, as it was hotter than I expected! I normally like spicy dishes so it’s not a concern for me. However, you’ll need extra Margaritas to put the fire out from this dish. Kudos to the manager and staff at this location !

Gross! Fatty gristle chicken with a gallon of dressing on the salad. Bartender was good as a server, I only had a beer other than that this place is terrible!

Last night I visited Chilis, my favorite restaurant. While I have always loved the food, I have been let down by the service many times. One time I visited the Providence location for Valentine’s day and received my dinner after my partner was finished eating. On Monday night I was a little saddened to find that the Chicken Ceasar Salad was discontinued. I easily changed my choice, but was a little disappointed. So I ordered another favorite of mine: Southwestern Vegetable Soup. After a couple spoonfuls(mostly of chopped cilantro piled on top), I realized that the soup had shredded chicken in it, no corn, and no green beans. I told the waitress there must be a mistake, because I didn’t want the chicken soup. She informed me that this is how it is made. Because I had the soup many times, I asked her if she was sure. She said, «Yes. Are you going to eat any more of it.» I replied, «No.» She removed the bowl from the table and never said another word. Following, she delivered two beverages, neither of which tasted like they had any alcolol. We didn’t bother to bring it to her attention because she clearly didn’t care. I am no longer a Chili’s customer. I would give 0 stars for 0 customer service.

Either I’m getting older or Chili’s is just getting worse. Yes, both are true! I genuinely liked this restaurant a dozen years ago, but quality and service have reached an all-time low. Fortunately, there was the Presidente Margarita to make everything else palatable. So many better options in the crowded, stellar RI restaurant market.

Dinner with the family ~ Michael was our server. He was attentive and helpful. The food had good flavor, my margarita was good, and the kids were happy. What more can you ask for? :) will definitely return.

We had a nice meal here. We sat in the bar area and had chicken enchiladas and a California flatbread. Both meals tasted great. We had great service from the bartender too. They have keypads on the tables where you can reorder another round of drinks and pay your check. All good.

The music was so loud we had yell at each other across the table. Our server was not good — he didnt pay attention to anything even though he wrote things down. they were forgotten and we had to ask for things multiple times. The new menu is not good. This is the second time we have gone since the makeover and the food has not been good either time. One of my kids gets the kids pizza every time and didnt like it and wouldnt eat it. She ordered the salad as her side but the server put it in as a full salad and we were charged the difference. I spoke with our server about it who just shrugged. The manager ended up taking it off the bill for us which is the only reason they got 2 stars. The new tablet at the table is annoying — they charge to use it with no confirmation and one of my kids went to move it and hit the button to play so I had to pay $ 2. And our server said we had to use it if we were paying with a card. I would like to go out to a meal with my family without being forced to use a tablet on the table. The last time we were there was before the makeover and everything came out cold after waiting an hour. The fajitas werent even sizzling! I asked the server and she said oh thats how they do it now — its changed. I asked her partner server if they changed the fajitas to not sizzle hot when it comes out and she said no so I let her know everything was cold and inedible and she said she would send the manager. Next thing I know a woman in a server shirt is at our table asking again about what happened. It turns our she was the manager! She never introduced herself or anything and seemed like she didnt believe us. She offered coupons and I said I didnt wish to return and I didnt want to pay for the meal I couldnt eat. She said that was all she could do and handed me the bill. I vowed to never return but figured after a year and a makeover maybe things were better. It wasnt and we will never go to Chili’s again.

Terrible greeting service, worst I’ve ever had. Waitress was pleasant, food took a very VERY long time to come out.

Food was great and our server was very polite. However one of meals was forgotten, either by the kitchen or by our waitress. Our waitress immediately did everything in her power to solve the problem. She alerted the kitchen and offered a free bowl of soup to my father(his meal was the one forgotten). He declined the soup. Moments later a manager came over and apologized as well. The gave us his meal for free and in less than 5 minutes his meal was delivered. None of our food was cold by the time we started eating it. Ppl make mistakes, it happens everywhere from time to time. I will definitely be returning again!

Food was ok. But they used to have great deals on margaritas like $ 2.99. Now they are $ 5 and half the size. The waitstaff is also slow.

I’m only giving one star because the music they were playing in the restaurant was good and the food was just OK. Service was awful!!! First off when i ask a waitress a question about the menu i don’t need her to reread it for me. I’m asking for a reason. 20 minutes after ordering we still didn’t get our drinks or chips n salsa. Really?! It wasnt that busy. So i got the manager and all she said was sorry and walked away. On top of the 20 minutes, we waited another 20 for the entrée. I will most likely never be back. And then they charged us for everything! Didn’t even comp us for a drink or anything. Way to keep customers!

I haven’t been to chili’s about 3-years, I end up receiving two e-gift cards from doing my surveys so I decided to use them because it is my birthday and I wanted to go to Chili’s with my boyfriend to celebrate it with a nice lunch. Also, I ordered a bacon cheese burger with fries, we shared an appetizer the mozerella sticks they were not greasy that’s perfect, my burger and fries was delish. Also my boyfriend ordered bacon and chicken bacon casedias sorry can’t spell it. My boyfriend enjoyed them and they were big. Then I ordered a dessert of my choice because I received an email for a free one for my birthday. Also, I ordered the cinnamon cake with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce let me tell you it was warm and delish it’s new on the menu, I recommend it :-)

I had a nice lunch with two young kids here recently. I had a gift card which was the sole reason I went and I was quite pleased. I haven’t been to a Chili’s in a while and it looks like they’ve updated the menu a little. The kids appreciated the variety on the kid’s menu — they can chose a main dish, side and a drink. There are several healthier options like fruit and veggies for sides. I chose a lunch combination — sandwich and salad — and I was surprised to see the sandwich come out with fries. For $ 8 I thought it was a good value. I thought the service was great. Not only was our server friendly but the other server in the section also introduced herself and offered to help us out. I don’t know if it’s something that Chili’s does all the time but I appreciated it. Bottom line: For a chain the food was good and I would definitely take the kids back.

Great option for family night out! It feels like we go to our local Chili’s(Bald Hill Rd, Warwick) once every 2 – 3 months. And its surprising it’s not more often. First let me say that I’m not the biggest fan of chain restaurants, primarily because of my support for local small business, I have to say the staff and waitress can’t be any more pleasant, and the atmosphere is usually on the more outgoing due to the amount of children patrons and after work crowds. First, which is great to see on a chain restaurant, is how consistent the food is! We typical move towards the 2 for $ 20 which works great for us, and our daughter gets a kid meal. You cant go wrong with bottomless chips and salsa, two entrees, and kids meal, and two drinks for less than $ 40.00, which also includes tax and tip. Highly recommend for good consistent food and great value!

If you haven’t been to Chili’s in a while, I definitely recommend trying it out again. Their whole menu has been re-done. I used to dislike Chili’s since everything on the menu had corn in it, and I’m not that crazy about Mexican style food, but with the new menu, I’m impressed. There’s about 5 pages of everything you can think of, from chicken to steak to shrimp to fajitas to pizza, etc. They have bottomless chips & salsa, great beverages, and a 2 for $ 20 deal(2 full entrees and an appetizer)… and the service is always above par.
