I have gotten two gel manicures from here, and neither lasted more than a few days with out chipping. If you are looking for a long lasting manicure, don’t go here.

Last time I went to Rubys I loved it. I couldn’t stop thanking my nail artist. She did a fabulous job. But today I went and I hate my nails. They look Terrible. I can see the purple from my prior manicure under my French manicure. It is so sloppy and they were not friendly at all, I wasn’t spoken to whatsoever. Such a shame, I really thought I was going to like it there.

One of the worst mani/pedi’s I have ever gotten! I felt I was in a race as to how fast they could get me out the door. Amy stood next to the pedi station doing a half assed manicure while the woman raced through my pedicare. Had nailpolish on my skin, my toenails were not cut straight across, I had jagged sharp pieces of nails on the end. Waste of my hard earned money!

Worst gel manicure ever. Started out good. Nice massage but she didn’t cut the cuticle even after I asked her too and she didn’file the nails even. One side is lower than the other. It will take a month to grow back to normal. Groupon was not worth the small amount saved. Never again.

Decided to go here because 1. Wanted to try a new place and 2. I figured it may be a little bit slower during the time I went. Got there and it was as I expected. Not busy. Went to pick my color and went to sit down. It was awkwardly quiet no music, no tv. Tried to make conversation with the lady and it was even awkward. She rushed through the pedicure. 15mins. Horrible feet/leg massage, my feet are still like before except with painted toes and the paint job wasn’t neat either. They surprised me with a hot stone massage, want expecting it at all. And I am pretty sure she burned my back with the stones. Needless to say, I won’t be back. Nail salons are a dime a dozen anyhow.

I’m really striking out lately when it comes to trying new places. :( Made a 530 appointment here, my pedicure didn’t start until 620. Absolutely ridiculous. Turns out that they overbooked– walk-ins were accepted which pushed everyone back. They had people waiting and only 3 employees. The color options are sub par– barely any cute choices. The place is old and unsanitary, they don’t clean anything as well as they should. The woman seriously took dish soap and washed the pedicure basin out with a dish sponge for 2 seconds. I was horrified. When the appointment finally started, the nail technician was SORUDE. Told me that I should pick a new nail color… what? My pedicure was 25 minutes, including the«free massage,» which consisted of lukewarm stones being rubbed on my leg for 2 seconds. The manicure was fine, but the owner kept complaining about how tired she was.(Probably because it was past closing, not my fault, you took walk-ins which delayed your appointments!) It was a rush job, and she sighed with relief when she was done… Also, the technicians were arguing… the two who spoke Korean were obviously talking about the other one who did not speak Korean, and when she heard her name, she flipped out. The Korean speaking tech claimed that she was«talking about a client…» OMG. Unprofessional and awkward. Three other customers were there and asked if they could use their deal for three pedicures instead of 2 manicures and 2 pedicures, considering that they had to wait an hour– the owner absolutely refused. This place is a dump, plain and simple. I seriously don’t understand how places like this stay open. I’ve learned my lesson now– never trust any«deal» sites to point me in the right direction.

Probably the worst mani pedi I ever got. They don’t even have a sink available for you to wash your hands during manicure and they don’t soak your nails at all. Not very sanitary. I also asked for the tech to trim my nails a little. She cut them off. I don’t think they understand English very well at all. Would NEVER recommend or go back. Oh an as far as a spa pedi — this was as far from it as you can get.

well, a year and a half later, it seems Ruby isn’t trying so hard anymore. MiMi moved on, the massages are so/so, and the staff didn’t believe me when I told them my daughter was 12 and should pay the price for 12& under.

Wonderful service! They took me last minute for a pedicure, 10 minutes before closing, and didn’t rush through the job! They had hot stones, paraffin for your heels, and I got a great massage when my toes were drying! 4 stars because the price was a bit high, but great customer service and my pedicure is still going strong, 3 weeks later.

I purchased a Groupon here for a manicure and pedicure. Making an appointment was a bit difficult. The time I wanted wasn’t available, which is understandable when they have many Groupons floating around, so I made an appointment for an hour earlier than I wanted. When I walked in, the place was completely empty. I was kindly greeted and had my pedicure done as they began to quickly take off my fingernail polish and shape my fingernails. I felt a bit rushed, and for an empty salon, there was no need. My nails and toes looked good and the hot stone back massage at the end was nice. By the time I left, it was way after the time I originally wanted and no one else came in! I was by myself the entire time, which kind of created a creepy environment. The Groupon was a good deal, but I don’t think I’ll be back.

DONOTGOHERE! We purchased a pedicure for my wife and called to make the appointment. They said that the last pedicures during the week are at 6. My wife works until 5 and in the city, that would’nt work. Then she said ok how about saturday. The lady said groupon no good on weekends. It does NOT say that on the groupon. I called to try to reason with them. I asked for the manager and was hung up on. I contacted groupon and was refunded. There are too may options around to be handled that way. See Ya Ruby!

Wow. Wonderful service. I was overwhelmed at all of the wonderful, unexpected extras from a normal mani/pedi. Ooo-di-la-li … a short massage, warm rock rub, heated shoulder pad thingee … we felt so very very pampered. We’ll be back!

Great service! Walked in today, had no wait. The people here are very friendly. Price of a mani also includes a short massage afterwards. Definitely would return and recommend it to family and friends!
