Completely blown away at how amazing this place was! I was nervous to try on dresses since I wasn’t quite at the weight I would like to be when I walk down the aisle however from the moment I walked in the door the staff was so welcoming! While I filled out some paperwork a few men walked in to return their tuxs you might have thought they were family the way the staff greeted the former customers asking how the wedding was hugging each other and all! Once I was ready to try on some dresses Wendy took such good care of me I told her what style I wanted and my budget and I actually got to help pull some dresses. they were out in the open on the sales rack not hidden in the back! She had me try on various styles after about 8 or 9 dresses I said yes to the dress!!! I couldn’t be happier never had I expected to find my dress on the first shot but I just knew I couldn’t leave without knowing it was officially mine! She was thrilled it’s like she was apart of the wedding party we even popped champagne! Then to top it all off a few days later they sent ME FLOWERS! I couldn’t believe it they were thanking me for shopping with them, I am so glad I chose Dariannas bridal for my gown can’t wait to go back for my first fitting and to look amazing on my wedding day! By far the best experience I’ve ever had with getting a suit/​tuxedo. Franco and their staff are the essence of great customer service. An item in my Tux was a little too big so Franco took the time to deliver the right size item to my house the morning of the event! Couldn’t have been happier. They know how to treat their customers. My family, friends, and I will keep going back!

By far the best bridal shop experience I’ve ever had. This is my 3^rd daughter’s wedding and the staff at this shop are wonderful. I’d recommend them in a heartbeat.

I cannot tell you how happy I was with the service I received from Darianna’s. This was the 3^rd bridal shop I went to and was somewhat discouraged after the first 2 experiences I had elsewhere. I was so worried I would not find the dress of my dreams but my fortune quickly turned around! The quality of dresses and the selection far surpassed the other shops I had visited. Plus, Wendy was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful and gave you her full attention. She is so genuine and thoughtful, it absolutely makes the experience! I ended up purchasing a dress my mother picked out — a satin beaded gown. I came back for the fitting and the staff helped me pick out an amazing veil that suited it perfectly. Then, after my hair and makeup trial, I decided a headband would be a perfect finishing touch. When I came back in, Wendy picked out the perfect one and it looked gorgeous with the dress. It all came together just as I had hoped and everything looked like it was made for my wedding day and venue. I am so lucky! I almost forgot to mention, my mother and sister (MOH) also picked out dresses here and looked equally as fabulous. I have one word to sum up the entire experience. LOVE!

I can’t say enough good things about Darianna’s. I don’t have a ton of experience with tux rentals and I wasn’t looking forward to it at all but they changed my outlook on it right away. Franco and Wendy are very personable and made it fun for me. Franco seemed genuinely concerned on getting the perfect fit for me but they did not pressure me at all to go for a higher priced tux. The fitting was quick and painless and that’s coming from someone with very little patience, especially for trying on clothes. When I went back to pick the tux up they remembered both my name and my girlfriends which made me feel right at home. I would definitely recommend Darianna’s to anyone.

My experience in the salon was not good. I felt rushed before I even started trying on dresses because our saleswoman, Wendy, said they had «back to back appointments» that day, yet we never saw anyone else. I had three people with me at my appointment; at no point did any of them pull dresses, under mine the sales associate, etc, but our associate was visibly angry with their presence which made me uncomfortable.
To top it off, when my sister when back in the store after we walked out to take a picture of the dress’ tag that I really liked, she overheard our associate talking about us rudely! Saying how my sisters acted like know it alls? They lost my business; I found the same dress I liked there and purchased it elsewhere the same day. I wouldn’t recommend this store and definitely not our saleswoman.

dariannas bridal is seriously the most professional and amazing place to shop for both wedding gowns and bridal dresses! they are so accommodating and helpful! I recommend this shop to every new bride I can! thanks for helping me pick out my gown! also for suggesting adding mint green to my color scheme for my bridesmaid dresses I love you guys!!!

Cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! My son had a last minute prom and they went above and beyond to make us feel special and taken care of. Best customer service ever. AND $ 45 off my kids tux! We will be life long customers now! Thank you again!

I called to make an appointment to look at bridesmaid dresses. They were rude and rushed and didn’t like making an appointment that didn’t include selling me the wedding dress. I was willing to make another appointment for that since they only had a one hour appointment available, I wanted to get my girls figures out first. Well… we arrived on time and they shoved both of my daughters into a tiny dressing room together, even though there were at least 5 other open rooms saying they had a wedding party coming in an hour and needed those rooms open! Then, they hand me the clips to clip them into the dresses, no customer service, no help, no pulling other dresses, no offering of what colors or fabrics they came in, no how are you doing, nothing… like we didn’t exist!!! Then, the owners come in the door and they completely ignore us to!!! I am sitting there in an empty bridal salon, we are the only people there, and they walk right by me, no hello, no welcome to our salon, no acknowledgement of any kind. RUDE! RUDE! RUDE!
I own my own business in the area, and they should understand that now I will not only not purchase ANY of my bridal dresses there, but I will tell other people in this small town to go elsewhere, they have no idea who I know and who I talk to every day.
Wasted our entire morning, even my girls were like «what was that about?»
Avoid, Avoid, Avoid.
FYI, went to another salon, Sposabella, later that day, treated like a queen, both the girls and I. Didn’t find the perfect dresses yet, but what a different experience that was. Raised our spirits after our completely depressing morning.

Darianna is wonderful. Wendy is super nice, genuinely enthusiastic, and runs her business with the utmost professionalism. Not to mention, the dresses are beautiful.
I tried on dresses at 3 different bridal stores before getting my dress at Darianna. Nowhere else did I feel as personally attended to. Wendy and her staff were always so friendly and helpful, and every time I went in I was the only bride in the store. I tried on my exact same dress at another store where it was actually cheaper. But after trying it on at Darianna, I realized that the other store was trying to sell an older version of it that seemed to have been previously altered. Plus they had some suspect tax rules (saying «you don’t have to pay tax on the dress if you pay in cash»… um, shady?). So even though I paid more for it, I felt way more comfortable buying the dress from Darianna, knowing it would be ordered new (as it should be) and paying by credit card (always get a record of the transaction when you buy a wedding dress!).
Darianna’s seamstress was also great and easy to work with. Susanna worked with me to make sure the length and fit were exactly right. She also let me know along the way the various charges, so there were no surprises at the end (not the exact amounts, but at least pointing out where certain alterations might cost extra).
Needless to say, the dress ended up being perfect and exactly as I imagined.
Wendy also followed up to ask how the wedding went and say congrats — another nice personal touch. I can’t say enough good things about how great the entire process was with Wendy and Darianna. Other places I got the sense that they were trying to either rip you off, or evade taxes, or only cared about making a profit off of you. Whereas Wendy made me feel like this is what she really enjoys doing for a living (in addition to being profitable). Thanks again!
P. S. The natural lighting in the shop is beautiful (a lot of sunlight streaming through the window) — making you look extra great ;)

The best of the best. Doing business with Darianna Bridal &Tuxedo is like stepping back in time. To a place where the staff actually care about you, take time to measure you, and treat you like an individual and not a number.
I got married in October 2014 and made the mistake of having myself, my dad, and my groomsmen get our tuxes at Men’s Wearhouse. I was reluctant to do this from the start because I have had horrible experiences there in the past, but because so many people were out of state, I thought it was the only option. Never again. I won’t waste too much time on my experience at MW, because I want to focus on how awesome the service is at Darianna Bridal & Tuxedo. Basically, I was getting married on Friday, and that Monday, my tux from MW was totally botched and all wrong. Nothing fit, everything was two sizes too big, the vest was damaged, and everyone who helped me there treated me like they were doing me a huge favor. You’re trying to look good for the most important day of your life and MW treats you like you’re buying lunch meat at a deli. Worse actually. Anyway, I was getting married in four days and started to panic because I still had no tux. So I decided to go to Darianna and work out a backup or try and get a whole new tux, even though it probably wouldn’t match my groomsmen.
From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease here. Wendy and her husband Franco are the owners, and they both greeted me warmly. I explained to them my situation and they immediately put me at ease and told me not to worry. They said I had plenty of time and that they could get my fitted in a new tux within 24 hours. Franco took the time to get my precise measurements, and actually had my try on a few jackets and pants, something MW never bothered to do. He was patient, conversational, and never pressured me. I told him that I might still be getting my tux through MW because it was already paid for, and they were ordering me a new tux in my size. He told me not to worry, and that either way, he just wanted me to look good and to not worry about my tux on my wedding day. We got everything situated, and he made me feel even more at ease because he offered to ship the tux directly to my venue the day before the wedding. It really took a huge burden off of me to know that no matter what, I had a nice tux to wear, and that Darianna was going to come through for me. I gave them such last minute notice and didn’t put a dollar down on anything and they treated me like a million bucks.
I have worked in retail and constantly do business in retail. It is extremely rare to find service like this in today’s world. Wendy and Franco truly care about their customers and their business, and you can feel that as soon as you walk in the store. I didn’t end up needing a tux through Darianna because MW got me fitted in my original tux and I matched all of my groomsmen. Although it all worked out, MW was a terrible experience and it took me several trips back and forth to their store to get my tux right. If I ever have need formal wear in the future, I will without a doubt go to Darianna Bride & Tuxedo. I also want to mention that Franco included a discount in his final price for me because he knew I had went through such a hassel with MW. He also gave me his personal cell phone number, and wished me well on the day of my wedding, even though I didn’t end up purchasing anything through his store. He is truly a class act.
Note: If you are getting married and have wedding party guests who are out of state, you can and should still go to Darinna! Franco can arrange free measuring with other stores in all 50 states, and will coordinate the entire process. Don’t ever bother with a big box chain store. I wish I knew this from the start.

I had a wonderful experience at Darianna Bridal the other day. Wendy was fabulous and very patient with me. I did not feel pressured or rushed to pick a dress like I have with other stores on the Main Line. They had a great selection of dresses that accommodate any brides budget. I was so impressed with the customer service. I would highly recommend this store!

Everything they did, from email communications, to hanging our coats for us, to giving us undivided attention and professional advice made our appointment possibly the best service that we have ever received in America in a couture setting.

I went in looking for a MOB dress. I was shown where the dresses were and then left alone. I had a stack of dresses and no one offered to start a dressing room. I tried the dresses on and no one asked if I needed help or a size. When I walked out of the dressing room the 2 employees were at the desk and did not ask how the experience went, nor say good-​bye. Extremely unprofessional and rude. How does a place like this stay in business!!!

I came here over memorial day weekend to try on dresses for the first time. Since I’m new to the area, I was relying entirely on internet reviews to make appointments. I was pretty nervous and didn’t know what to expect since I had never set foot in a bridal shop. I’m not a «bridey-​bride.» I was worried it might be snobby like the scene from the movie Bridesmaids! Thankfully it was nothing like that, and I didn’t get sick in the store either.
Wendy (owner I believe) was very helpful, and I sincerely appreciate the kind, personal service she offered me, my mom, and my future sister-​in-​law. She made my first time shopping a special, memorable day that I will never forget. What could have been a stressful, overwhelming experience was relaxing, happy, and really quite fun. I can be a little insecure about the way I look, and she really helped me feel confident in the dresses.
I did find something that I really liked and thought I might get, but I ultimately found a dress by a totally different designer that isn’t sold here. However, I must say that for a small, independently operated business, they have a wide selection of different styles!
Some final things: I’m no expert on wedding dress shopping, but it seems customary for the consultant to be in the room while you undress and step into the dresses. I’m not terribly modest, so it doesn’t bother me one bit, but if you are more modest, you will be pleased to know that they do give you some privacy to step into the dresses.
Also, I wanted to mention that Wendy was thoughtful enough to follow up with me with a personal email and handwritten, snail mail letter! I think this is a nice touch, and really left me with a favorable impression of their business. I think that really says a lot.
They also offer tuxedos and bridesmaid dresses, so I will likely be back to check those things out. Do give them a shot.

I was pretty disappointed with my last visit to Darianna Bridal a week ago when I went to pick up my bridal gown. First, I walked in and a young girl standing at the counter greeted me. then she proceeded to go back to what she was doing with her back turned against me. Another woman in the back saw me walk in as well but no body seemed to bother that I was standing there and waiting. Finally, the woman in the back signaled the young girl to ask me what I needed help with. I told the girl I was picking up my dress and told her my name. She was having trouble finding it and the other woman proceeded to help the girl… they assumed I was teenager picking up my prom dress (they asked me what color prom dress I had). In the end, my dress looked fabulous. but still disappointed by my last visit because i had raved about the shop before.

After having an appointment at another local salon cancelled last minute and having traveled over an hour, I was able to make a last minute appointment a Darianna. What a relief! You have the store and Wendy, the consultant to yourself, which was a nice since this was my first time shopping for wedding gowns! Wendy totally «got» me, helping to select vintage inspired and beaded gowns. She has a great sense of humor and made me feel very comfortable. Her knowledge of the designers and styles was impressive. I felt the prices on the gowns were very reasonable and within my budget. I did not buy my gown here because I was looking for something pretty specific but so happy I started here.

Extremely rude on the phone.
Called to make an appointment for my BM’s to try on dresses, Wendy sounded very rushed and overwhelmed on the phone. She asked if I bought my bridal gown from her store. I replied with No I did not and she advised that they usually sell BM dresses to brides that have bought from their store since they receive a discount and that «you definitely wouldn’t get a discount.»
I never asked for a discount. I was aware that I would not receive a discount for BM dresses. But she didn’t keep the conversation going to say that we can still come in to try on dresses. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was planning on getting all of my BM’s dresses here WITHOUT A DISCOUNT since my best friend bought her dress at Darianna and they treat her like royalty. They are only nice to you if you buy your dress from them. And even then, they seem very fake nice and over the top. I called Arielle Bridal and they were super nice on the phone. I made an appointment and plan to give them my business.
Only nice person at Darianna Bridal that doesn’t seem fake is the lady that does the alterations. She does a fantastic job.

This was the second store I went to in search of my wedding dress and after visiting a few more I ended up going back and purchasing my dress from Darianna Bridal. Anne helped me with my first appointment and was helpful in finding dresses that matched what I was looking for. My mom and I were really impressed with the choice of dresses.
When I cam back, Wendy helped in providing suggestions on a couple of concerns I had with my dress. She makes you feel very special and I left the store feeling really excited about my dress.
I am looking forward to returning for my first fitting!

As a bride who has gone to about 14 shops in the greater Philly area (Montco, Bucks, and Delco included), Wendy of Darianna Bridal was the most refreshing & honest bridal consultant I have met during my 2-​month hunt for the perfect wedding dress.
I came across Darianna Bridal when I fell in love with a Paloma Blanca gown. Even though she didn’t have a sample of the dress in store, she made me an offer to purchase from her. She also didn’t play any sales games with me like the other shops or push me into a sale. When I wanted the zipper altered to become a corset back, she did the research for me and responded within 24 hours (probably within 12!) She responded immediately with an alteration quote that was reasonable and not inflated like other shops asking for a $ 500 all inclusive fee or an outrageous $ 400 to add a corset like another store quoted. When one store offered a price more closely in my budget range, she was able to negotiate a price with me that I could still afford.
She was up front about the delivery times (**Canadian designers only take 8 weeks), where the other stores told me I’d have to pay extra for «rush delivery’» to get an 8-​week turn around. Oh, and did I mention that she graciously squeezed me in the same day I called (on a Saturday, no less) to try on dresses when I contacted her?!
Wendy demonstrates the epitome of customer service excellence, and if I hadn’t fallen in love with a dress outside of her designer line, I would have definitely purchased my dress from Darianna Bridal. She’s the only consultant I have met who didn’t make me question whether or not she had another hidden agenda. I’d give her 10 stars if I could. Thank you Wendy!
