These people are the worst. I bought my Highlander new 5 years ago and tried to use their service, pointing out their shortfalls. The last was visit is the last visit. Had an 08:00 AM appointment, arrived 7:45. Sat in my car outside the service bay doors and watched 6 – 8 employees chat and drink coffee. At 08:00, they opened the service doors and went along with their own business. I was with 4 other cars, we all sat and waited for direction… nothing. After 8 minutes I went into the service bay and asked the seated girl what I needed to do. She advised she was in charge of express lube and directed me to the interior service office. I asked why we the service guy why we were left outside without any instruction. His reply, we needed to come into the office. I signed the service form left my keys. Upon returning the car that was blocking the service bay when I arrived was still there, as well as a car the other cars outside. All this time the service people were going about their own business and totally ignoring all the customers outside. After 5 years, they have gotten worse and worse. Completely clueless, wandering aimless around, while trying not to make customer eye contact.
I will drive 80 miles… I am back to Beaverton Toyota, after 25 years they just keep getting better and better.
One instance at Lums, just a regular oil service, I was informed i needed a new rear wiper. I agreed, minutes later service returned and said they were out of that Toyota wiper. Really how does a Toyota dealer run out of wipers? Amateurs just down right amateurs, every month that passes they get worse.

I bought a new 2016 Toyota Corolla a plus it.
Stuart and George were the best they made buying a car so easy! First time I have drove off a car lot and felt good and didn’t get taken to the cleaners.
This was my first purchase at Lums I now will be a lifetime customer !

Lums has changed my oil twice in my Volvo. First time quoted 60 and at pick up was $ 100.00. Paid next day got manager, oh a mistake, Misquote, opp’s Anyway got a 25 dollar credit for next time. Next oil change cost me 125– 25 credit, hee, hee 100 bucks. Today I call up, (year later) and want a quote. Service dept to call me back Asap. Well the call never came. Oil change in Astoria instead, Same oil, price 30% cheaper. Bought one new car off them. Now I think enough is enough. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Lums, if you have a customer why annoy him?.

If you have service done here and they ask if you want a free car wash. keep in mind they do not dry the cars off. So you will have ugly water spots on your new car.
I had to wax my car after the car had water spots. I went back again today and pointed this flaw out after they washed it today and I had to dry it with my sweater.
Also.I have a car under warranty and the lube tech stated my coolant was low and water pump might be leaking. I Don’t fall for the scam. They want me to spend $ 104 to diagnose the leak when I myself know for a fact there is no leak. Coolant can evaporate through the radiator cap.
Bring to wells or some chamois cloth if your car gets washed here.

I have nothing nice to say about this place. First, they refused to get either a RAV4 or a Jeep Compass in stock so I could test drive it, until I promised to purchase it. How can you agree to purchase a car you’ve never seen, let alone driven? Then, when they got a RAV4 in stock they didn’t get the features I wanted. Stupidly I bought it anyway. Two years later I traded it in for a new RAV4 which I bought from Toyota of Wilsonville. They are so much more helpful and easy to deal with. They actually care about what the customer wants.
Fast forward to today. Lum’s can’t find a record of the purchase of my vehicle from Wilsonville. I prepaid for four years of oil-​changes and they conveniently can’t find it. Plus, they are refusing to fix a gasket on the top of my car that came off the first time I ran it through a car wash because «Wilsonville installed it wrong». I wish it wasn’t a 2 ½ hour drive one way to get to Wilsonville because I’d much rather have them help me than this place.

I have to say i am a fan of Lums. We have purchased 4 cars and my sister 2 cars. The sales people and finance people have worked with us very nicely on each deal. The service department is fast and honest. I have had vehicles in for quick fixes in the past. They only charge for the time it takes. Some places round up to the next hour of labor charges.
Now for the quick lube, just more of the great service. Fast and a vacuum and car wash to boot. I did try one of the other quick lube places and was laughing at the dog and pony show they put on.
It is nice to see a world wide brand have a local home town presence here in Warrenton.

I used to really be a fan of Lums but recently they don’t seem to respect their customers time. They used to accept oil changes with out appointments and they were done in a timely manner… last time I tried to get an oil change they were unable to get me in for several hours and they recommended that I make an appointment next time. Today, I had an appointment that I made online for 8:15am. When I arrived at 8:05, I was informed that they wouldn’t be able to get it done for an hour. He said that the online appointment system booked four appointments for the same time. Appointment or not, expect to wait too long for your vehicle.

I have had great experiences with their service department and although it was only for oil changes I feel that as long as I am OK with dealer services prices I would be satisfied with major services as well.
Their waiting area is great… free popcorn and coffee with comfortable couches and TV.
I would give them a solid 4 star ranking if I was just reviewing their service department but I have had mixed results with their sales.
A few years ago I was in the market for a used Honda Element and they had one that fit the bill. I was able to work with their Internet by Bill (i think) and was getting close to making a deal. I then made the mistake of stopping by the lot after I got pre approval from by bank. I was eager to buy a car and Bill wasn’t there. I then met with a salesman who gave me a beyond insulting trade in offer for my current car and wouldn’t honor the prices I had previously discussed. Needless to say I went elsewhere and did end up purchasing a similar car less then a week later.
I did have a good experience with another salesmen about a year ago (Orvis sp?) and although I ended up buying a Honda instead he was knowledgeable, honest, and not pushy at all. If I am in the market for a Toyota in the future I will definitely give him a call.

I feel awkward writing a review for a car dealership, but these guys have made me so happy twice in a row, I thought I’d pay it forward.
First of all, they will not be beaten as far as customer service goes. Their sales men aren’t pushy or awkward and they honestly do their best to get you everything you want: be it price, car color, and all other options.
I bought a Scion from them a few years ago, and recently traded it in for a new Jeep. Couldn’t be happier with how the transaction went. These guys understand caring about your customer is what gets you more business.

First of all I love Toyotas! These cars lasts a long long time and hardly ever have engine problems. I have a Toyota Highlander 2008 and bought it from this dealer. They were very professional and courteous. The service center was helpful, prompt, knowledgeable. The waiting area was comfortable with a big screen tv, variety of reading, comfortable seating, free beverages, popcorn, and free internet service. When I got my car back they even washed it for me.

Great service and great people. You don’t feel like a goldfish in a shark tank ;)
