History

Established in 2015.

Pita Pit was founded by Nelson Lang on the idea that people want a fresh, healthy alternative to fast food. Born in Canada in 1995, Pita Pit creates a fun, casual atmosphere where customers can create their perfect pita amongst our endless flavor combinations of lean meats, toppings and spreads. Pita Pit expanded to the U.S. in 1999 and is growing steadily as we add to our franchise family nationwide. Pita Pit USA’s headquarters are based in the northwest town of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

The food is great! While it’s not exactly authentic Mediterranean, it is undoubtedly delicious with an phenomenally friendly staff to match. Had a lovely time in the short time I spent there and will definitely be returning often. Oh did I mention they serve breakfast all day that is better than any place I’ve had in town? Just sayin’
Update: While I still love the food here, both times I have ordered delivery from here has been a nightmare. First time we didn’t get our food for over an hour because they went to Knob Noster instead of my home 1 mile away. Why that mistake took an entire hour is beyond me, but it was a mistake, of course, we all make them. This last time it took 50 minutes to receive my food. When I called the store they said the delivery man was out with my order but would be dropping off the other order he had that was super far away before mine. So I got cold food, again. Will never order delivery here again.

Overall the food was very good. I had the small prime rib pita and it was quit delicious. The staff was friendly and the establishment looked clean. Will definitely return in the future.

Mediocre at best. I thought it was over priced and the customer service was poor. It was about three weeks after opening. Maybe they have worked out the kinks, but I won’t be back.

The concept is great, and i have been to these in other towns, but in the end it had to be about the food and the food only warrants three stars and that’s generous. They are getting great initial reviews, i suspect because Warrensburg is woefully lacking in dining options, oh and the guy that gave them five stars and it hadn’t even opened yet.

Place is amazing. Had doubts about it but I was very surprised. Not overpriced, and you get a good amount of food. Take chipotle and subway and combine them. It’s amazing. I get the chicken breast with shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese and chipotle and BBQ mixed together. But the combinations are endless. There is so much to choose from. My new favorite place to get quick cheap food.

Delicious food and both times I’ve been in it’s been great service! I usually get the Chicken Silvaki or the Awakin’ with Bacon. Everything is customizable as you would expect from an assembly line type sandwich place. Fresh ingredients and unique flavors. Can’t wait for them to start delivery! I will definitely be a regular here.
