Marco Polo’s Pizza Subs & Pasta

It started 10 years ago with a Meat Lover’s pie. The rest is history.
As I begin most of my reviews in the Warrensburg/​LG area, my family and I have had a vacation home in the area for over 15 years. We’ve tried almost every restaurant in the area, and we are major foodies. Trust our recommendations!
Marco Polo consistently delivers hot and delicious food, most remarkably, their GIANT pizzas. I have ordered a pie for 5 guys, only to have leftovers. I’ve also order a pie for myself, and… had even more leftovers. Their food is great, their portions generous, and the price unbeatable.
I have converted food snobs to Marco Polo lovers. I’ve brought leftovers home for friends in NYC, and they constantly ask when I’m heading back up. While the exterior can be intimidating, the warmest of staff awaits for you inside, and, the best pizza you can imagine. Marco Polo pizza for me, is like Cheese Steaks from Phili, or wings from Buffalo. I cannot leave the Burg until I’ve had it.
Try the meat lovers, the Ranch pie, or an antipasto salad. You will not be disappointed.

Warm and friendly Italian bistro. New owner Brian since ¹⁄₂₀₁₅. He redecorated, I’m told by Matt, who’s been working there for 6 years. It’s warm and bright in comfortable and friendly atmosphere. A picture of the Rat Pack playing pool hangs above a large round table. Former owner’s son Steve, and his mom come for dinner daily. We ordered pizza and BBQ wings to feed ourselves and farm workers. Pizza was good and wings messy and delicious. We had to order takeout but the next time we go we’ll stay.

If you are looking for good pizza, pasta and wings this place is a good choice. However, fair warning, the service was very slow and spotty and you would want to make sure you’re not in a hurry when having a meal here.

Great pizza and pasta dishes… all homemade… go there at least twice a month

Stopped here for lunch. Got a cold cut sub and a hot meatball sub, both were good. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but is worth it.

The owner of this place is in his 90’s. He used to own much of the property around the lake nearby. If he’s around, he’ll give a hard time to anyone who will listen. And he makes good pizza and sells it by the slice.
