What a wonderful place! It was packed with locals when we were there. It’s a bit of a diner mixed with an Italian-American(red sauce) restaurant. We had wedding soup and greens-and-beans soup, both of which were very tasty. For our meal, we had distinctive and yummy sandwiches. I had the Parmesan Punisher, which had three parmesans(veal, chicken, and eggplant) sandwiched between toasty herbed breads along with cheese and sweet roasted red peppers. The sandwich is hearty without being absurd b/c the parms are all pounded thin. My wife got the Meatball Splash, which featured meatballs sandwiched between two pieces of pizza, then covered with sauce. There are many more traditional menu items(lasagna, pizza, the individual parms, etc.) but these novel presentations really caught our attention. This is not a place where everything is excessive, or where all the sandwiches have novelty titles. It’s just good, quality food presented by kind servers in a nice neighborhood environment.
