History

Established in 1997.

Stacy’s Place was established back in 1997 after the birth of my second son. The reality of sending 2 children to daycare hit us hard financially. I personally try to provide you with the best possible childcare at a reasonable price. We provide breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks a day at no additional charge. Our program is licensed by DCYF and has been Bright Star rated. I also have earned my CDA which is above what is required to own and operate a licensed home daycare. I like to provide a relaxing atmosphere where your child can feel at home while learning to respect and interact with those around them. They not only learn their basic curriculum to help them become Kindergarten ready but they also learn a lot of social and emotional skills along the way!

Business Owner

I was born and raised in NH and moved to Rhode Island back in 1992 when my husband was stationed in Newport. We purchased a home in 1993 before the birth of my first son. At the time I was working as a Veterinary Technician. After the birth of my second son I decided that I would open up a daycare due to the cost of daycare verses the salary I was making. It gave me the opportunity to stay home to raise my children while helping other families have a safe learning environment for their children to grow and learn.
