Mound Cleaners

My family has been using them for probably 15 years, but they have been going down hill. Raising their costs and screwing up their work. They were supposed to sew on 5 cub scout patches, instead they glued them which we said NOT to do then said it was because we needed it back in a week that they did that then charged us $ 25.00. They blamed us for doing what we told them not to do now we won’t be able to pass the shirt on. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!

I was pretty disappointed in this place for a couple of reasons. The big one is that I travel in front out of town every week and needed my stuff dry cleaned and laundered and ready-​to-​go by Monday evening so I could have clothes for work on Tuesday. When I dropped my stuff off on Friday, I asked if it could be ready by Monday evening and they said they could. But then on the weekend they give me a call and ask — do I really need it on Monday? First, it’s pretty annoying that my cleaner is calling me on the weekend, but anyways, I confirm that yes I still want my stuff for Monday. They’re like — we can do Monday, but it’s going to the absolute end of day Monday. Then on Monday I come in and they’re like here are your clothes. And they give me half of the clothes (my dry cleaning), but not my laundry. And then the person is like — oh — you wanted your laundry today too??? So anyways, I had to do something shopping go I could have clean underwear for work the next day.
So that was the biggie. Then later in using my dry cleaned clothes — the clothes were in fact clean (good news), but those tags they put on dry cleaning were basically either stapled to the clothes, or affixed with some sort of plastic tag like they do on new shirts in department stores and you have to spend a lot of time tearing those tags off.
Other than that, they were at least pretty friendly (if you don’t count them being insensitive to not having my stuff on time), so giving them a star back for that.
So to sum up — I wouldn’t go back here, but you might still consider it if you don’t have time constraints, and don’t mind a little bit of clothes damage and annoyance with the dry cleaning tags.
