When you purchase Laughing Gull Chocolates, not only to do you get to enjoy our smooth, creamy truffles and unique flavors, you are also supporting direct fair trade in Latin American cacao farms as well as allowing local youth to gain job skills!

Laughing Gull Chocolates is proud that we use as many local ingredients as possible. In addition, we are passionate about our mission to educate and make a difference in our community.

History

Established in 2015.

Lindsay’s dream has always been to save the world with chocolate. With the opening of Hope & Main, she found her way with Laughing Gull Chocolates!

Business Owner

While finishing school, Lindsay answered the dreaded question of what she wanted to do when she graduated by saying «saving the world with chocolate.» The more she thought about it, learned about the global trade and the story of chocolate, the more this far-​fetched story became a dream she wanted to realize. Laughing Gull Chocolates is her way of doing so: Laughing Gull uses all direct traded, premium local ingredients to allow consumers to be that much closer to their food source, and learn the intriguing, magical story of chocolate.

Lindsay started Laughing Gull Chocolates through Hope & Main and is so proud to be a part of this community. She spends much of her time making chocolate, while she works full time for a youth leadership nonprofit in Providence.
