Got a groupon to go here and liked it. The staff was nice and did a good job. It looks a little run down and the average client looks to be in her 70’s but it didn’t bother me at all. I had a younger/new girl was did a good job and if I’m back in the area I will be back to see her.

How does this amazing place have no reviews?! I visited B&B Salon for the first time today after snatching a Groupon deal for a color, haircut, and blowdry package. My first impression of the salon left me underwhelmed, as it’s located in a low-key strip mall next to a Hungry Howie’s. However, my doubts were quickly relieved. Upon walking in, I was greeted by Theresa and welcomed by my hairstylist, Waly. After checking in for my appointment, I was seated at Waly’s station and the magic began. Waly brought out a collection of colored faux hair samples to show me my color options, and we discussed my preference. My hair is naturally black and was previously dyed dark Auburn. I actually decided to recolor my hair because the dark roots were growing out, but I wanted a slightly different color that would enliven the existing color without requiring bleaching. Since the color I described didn’t match any of the samples, Waly brought in his peers to discuss the best way to achieve the color I specified. I’ve never seen a trio of stylists more eager or happy to meet my color preference! After Waly and his peers dispersed, he got to work. The entire coloring session was just over an hour long(relatively short time considering how dark my hair is), and I felt no discomfort throughout the entire process. During that time, he even offered free coffee to my poor boyfriend, who I dragged along. The hair wash followed suit and was probably the best part of the experience. Unlike several previous salon experiences I’ve had, Waly was very gentle with my hair. He didn’t scrape my scalp(granted he didn’t have the long nails to do so) or pull my hair, and he didn’t rush through the wash(even with customers waiting). He even gave me a head massage and checked that I was comfortable every few minutes! After the wash, Waly got to the haircut. I liked my existing hairstyle and length, so Waly trimmed my ends and enhanced the style by adding some layers and shape. I was honestly too mesmerized by my new hair color to pay much attention to the cut. Once his handiwork was complete, he carefully blow dried my hair lock by lock. When that was done, he tousled some oils into my hair and, in the handheld mirror that he handed me after, I saw a more youthful, rosy me! Needless to say, I tipped my thanks today. The cost of the Groupon was nowhere near what this deserved, for both quality and service. Like I said, I’m surprised I’m the first one to rave about this place on Unilocal!,as there was definitely no shortage of walk-in customers(many of them regulars) during the time I was there. If you’re looking for a great haircut and experience, B&B Salon is where you’ll get it. If you’re like me, and you’ve had your fair share of salon disasters, you’ll leave this place feeling like you’ve never been pampered so much in your life – and look like it, too. P. S. Waly is only available on Saturdays, so book him while you can!
