Hello, my name is Suzann and welcome to ‘A Clean House’ by Suzann. I am a hard working, trustworthy, reliable housekeeper with 5 years experience in the house cleaning industry.

I offer scheduled weekly, bi-​weekly, monthly services, as well as deep clean services such as one time cleanings for special occasions such as move outs/​move ins.

Our business centered around the idea of QUALITY. Our goal is to provide high quality, green, cleaning services to our customers. We provide the work that takes the extra time but at a very competitive cost.

History

Established in 2010.

Years ago I wanted to make a little extra money so I started cleaning a couple houses a month.

But then in 2011 my husband got laid off and we really needed to create an income.

To help he took his sales and marketing expertise and helped me develop ‘A Clean House’ by Suzann.

The web site was born and so was the advertising.

It didn’t take too long but soon my husband wasn’t just my «MANager of Marketing» (as I liked to call him) he was my team mate and I had to teach him exactly how to clean a house. As he learned we were soon able to handle 2 houses a day.

As the years went by we have grown to service 80 to 90 homes a month, have partnered with 7 apartment complexes, and 1 trailer park.

We have worked very hard to get to this point and are still looking to get bigger. We never dreamed we would be at this point and we are very much looking forward to what the next few years have to offer.

When I was much younger and living in Arizona I had a job at a 5 star resort in the north Phoenix area. This is where I got my initial training for house cleaning.

When I decided to clean a couple houses on the side I decided that to do a quality job I would take that training and put it to use in my customers houses.

Presently that same knowledge is passed down to the people that work with me and my husband and those same skills that I learned as a teenager are being taught to whoever works for us.

Those 5 star training tricks are exactly why my cleaning company is different than the others. Everyone wipes off counters but 5 star cleaning involves much more that just the counter top… To be 5 star you have to clean the whole counter and most companies just do not do that.

I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with their service! I am 9 months pregnant (due any day now) and Jason and his crew went above and beyond to make sure my home was spotless and dust free for our new baby (they also cleaned the ceiling fans, doors, and baseboards!) Jason was even able to get my carpets cleaned on the same day at the last minute! (Literally called a carpet guy and he was there within hours!) The girls arrived early (another bonus), I left to go to an emergency doctors appointment and about 2 hours later returned home to a spotless home and my carpets had already been cleaned! They even got a large tea stain out of my cream colored carpet! I will definitely be using them over and over again! I highly recommend you give them a try

About a day after the cleaning the owner called me to see how things went, I expressed my concerns (see below) and he was shocked. He wanted to make up the bad experience to me. He offered to come, after hours, when convenient to me to re-​do the deep cleaning. He and his wife came and did a fabulous job. Exactly what I had expected the first time around. I was extremely pleased with the job they did and I would call them again for a cleaning.
I was excited to find a local company to do a deep clean in my bathroom and kitchen. I sent in an email for a quote and got a call back with in 10 mins, I was pretty impressed and excited.
The crew arrived right on time, came in evaluated both rooms and got right to work.
They weren’t even here an hour. When they «reviewed» things with me, I was told that they had a few more things to do (wipe up here, down here, wash flor etc.), at that point everything was looking good, and with what they had left to do it sounds like everything was going to be clean.
I guess it’s my fault for not check long before they left, but I could have clean my bathroom my self, done a better job and saved $ 80.
The floor was not cleaned, the outside of the toilet wasn’t touched, behind the toilet was not touched, walls in the shower weren’t touched, the faucets were not polished, clock on the wall was not dusted, the stuff I was told still had to be done was not done and there was a huge smudge white smudge on my mirror (that was not there before), I honestly don’t know how they missed it. I wish I would have taken a picture before I re-​cleaned the entire bathroom.
In the kitchen, they tell you they clean the outside of the fridge, they don’t, they only do the front of it, too was not done or the sides. Floor was «washed», but there’s still dust bunnies and marks on the floor.
I would not recommend for deep cleaning, save your money :(

I had A Clean House by Suzann deep clean my house for the first time in preparation for the holidays. They did a fabulous job!!! A team of two ladies arrived and they were very organized and excited to attack the job. They cleaned everything: moldings, baseboards, windows, floors, bathrooms, you name it. They were finished in 2 hours and took everything with them. I am a busy executive with a home office and it pains me not to have the time to get as detailed with cleaning my home as I would like– now I am at ease.

I had a Clean house by Susan out to do an initial «deep clean» of my 1500 sq foot condo. I am not picky, and definately not walking around with a white glove, but I honestly could not even tell anyone had been there. The floors had not been mopped, the grout was not touched, the floor in the finished basement not even swept. If this is a deep clean Im not sure what a regular clean would be.

Great customer service! I called a week before I needed a cleaning, as I was moving out of my condo. Jason took all my information. He clearly explained the pricing policy, and offered me some optional items to be included or not. He timely called the day before the appointment to confirm the appointment time.
The team was scheduled to arrive between 10:00 — 10:30am. They promptly arrived at 10:10am. We did a walk through, asked me some questions… They estimated about 2 hours of work time. I left to run some errands, and Alyse called me to confirm they’d finished at 12:00noon. We did a walk through, they explained what they’d cleaned and everything looked great. They did an excellent job on the kitchen and bathrooms.
I would highly recommend this cleaning company, and only wish is used them sooner!

Wonderful experience with this team! I had them do a move out clean for my duplex in Grosse Pointe Park. They were on time and very professional. They brought all of their own products and cleaned everything they told me they would and went above and beyond in my basement. My basement looks better than it did the day we moved in!

My experience with Suzann Mayes and her company was fantastic! The owners worked with me on scheduling the cleaning of our new house. Even more impressive was their performance of the cleaning. We had inclement weather and they showed up with an extra crew to complete the job in the time they quoted and at the price they quoted on Thumbtack! I had rennovated my house and couldn’t stand to walk barefoot in it b/​c of all the tile dust and what not.
I had my friend let the crew in and she was giving me a play-​by-​play on what was being done while I was at work. She said the crew was very meticulous and dusted each DVD on my rack. When I came home, it finally felt like home.
And you can’t beat the price for what was being done. I would definitely call them back.

These guys are the real deal!
I’m moving into a house that needed quite a bit of work done on it. After spending three weeks dry walling, repainting, drilling, and repairing (on top of the disgusting layers of dirt and grime left behind by the previous tenet), the house needed some SERIOUS attention and professional deep clean. Well, Jason and his crew delivered.
Jason was very professional on the phone and he delivered on each and every one of his promises. The dust, the paint, the grime and grossness were all gone by the time time they left. The sink (which was a motley color of dried paint) looked almost brand new. The bathrooms (sinks, floors, showers, and toilets) are sparkling and the appliances look new. Seeing the house after it was cleaned was a pretty cool experience. It’s been a lot of work getting this house into shape and A Clean House put a finishing touch on it that made it all worth it.
Because I had to work and couldn’t be at the house during the cleaning I had my mother there and they treated her with the utmost respect, walking her through the entire process as they went. They have incredibly fair prices and their work is superb. Well worth the price.
These guys know what they are doing and it shows! More importantly, they have an understanding of the importance of what they do. It’s not JUST about cleaning, but it’s about taking care of someone’s home. They get to that next level and treat the house like a home. Man, I have a lot of respect for that.

They do a great job and really get detailed about how you want your house cleaned. Very open to suggestions and happy to please! My wife fired our first house cleaners because they didn’t get the small stuff, so far these guys are on it. Great Job!

Very impressed with their work! Jason was a pleasure to work with. He and his crew were on time and did a very nice job. I hired them to clean my nearly empty rental home after having my tenants and their large dog move out after a year. Boy, did their dog shed! I had a very short window of time between tenants and depended on this company and I couldn’t be happier. The crew with A Clean home by Suzann really did make my home appear new again. My wood floors were shiny, tile and glass doors squeaky clean, rust stains in the tub removed, ledges and window sills wiped clean, refrigerator and stove top, oven, sink, you name it — all look fantastic. All the dog hair is gone, even the fur trapped in the low-​pile carpet is gone. My new tenants were delighted with the result. I would definitely use them again! I highly suggest you give them a try or a phone call at the very least. They stand behind their work and strive to please their customers. Five Stars!
