The service was good but the breakfast sandwich was stale and inedible. We were driving and in a hurry so I couldn’t take it back. I guess they serve breakfast all day and they keep it from the morning. I got fries too and they were not very hot. So they must have been sitting awhile too. The one star is because at the mccafe the mcflurry was good.

Wow, never thought I would review a rest area but this one sucks. No place to park, all one way and you can’t turn around. If you drive by the building to park, ya know, thinking there might be parking spaces… You’re screwed.

Lighthouses could also be known as Warners, couldn’t they? And those red flashing lights on top of buildings and bridges? But you won’t find any cool bridges, buildings or lighthouses here. Warners is very close to Syracuse on the thruway. I’ve used this rest stop once or twice when I was heading west from Upstate to WNY. It’s typical and similar. The petrol here is expensive, though. Significantly more expensive than off the thruway. This is another typical Thruway rest area where everything is more expensive, but you have no choice to leave the Thruway unless you want to pay extra in tolls. The food is mediocre chain food, like McD’s. At least it’s clean and has free wifi.

This is for the gas. It is the worlds slowest gas pump. Ive been standing here with others for about 10 minutes and im only at 8 gallons. However if you are Canadian they include instructions on how to use your credit card here since u must have a us zip code.

Carrie really said it all! I always stop at this Service Area when I’m headed to Buffalo. It’s the first one for me when I get onto the throughway. Plenty of restrooms and decent food options considering you’re on the go. They even have an Edy’s Ice Cream if you feel like being bad. McDonalds, pizza and as mentioned, plenty of seating. Convenience store has your every want and need as long as you’re okay with paying $ 4 for a yogurt and $ 5 for a water.
