The food and service were good. We ordered sweet and sour pork, an ahi tower, and fir tge kids: vegetable lo mein. Everything tasted great and Leslie, our server was very attentive. It was a little disappointing how few people were in here. Definately come out and try it.

Worst service ever! The place wasn’t busy at all, and it took 12 minutes for someone to get our order for drinks. We ordered soup, dumplings and edamame and our waitress forgot the soup. We just had a simple Cali roll and my girlfriend ordered a sashimi dish and the sashimi had rice in it and sauces which wasn’t indicated on the menu. The Cali roll came 10 minutes after hers. Never going back.

1 star for service(would’ve given 0) and 1 for food. We came on a friday night, pay day at that, and it wasn’t busy. That should’ve been a sign. Our waitress’s name was Bailey and she was in need of some serious training or a drug test. Maybe she had an off night, but she was TERRIBLE to say the least. It started with me asking her what was in the«grateful dead», the drink of the day. Her response was, «a lot of stuff and some juices.». I’m not making this up, I thought she was joking and waited for her to say that she’d find out. Instead she just stood there. I was hoping for a little more descriptive explanation of ingredients, but whatever… I decided against. it. Next, my husband ordered an Ichiban beer to which she replied that they didn’t have that there. Funny, because there’s an ichiban sign on the front window, but again, whatever. We then proceed to order our food, there were three of us and my son and I both got rolls, my husband got 4 pieces of sushi. Simple enough, right? Nope. I won’t get into asking about the spider roll and her looking at her paper and telling me what all it had including spider(yes, i’m serious), but come to find out it was crab. And I won’t get into asking her what she would recommend and her saying she didn’t like anything there. But I will tell how I asked if the jalapenos could be kept out of my tornado roll TWICE and guess what was in it? yep, jalapeños. Getting the food… first, my son got his roll and nearly finished it before my husband got his 4 pieces of sushi. Nearly 10 min. later, I got my roll with the jalapeños in it after my husband and son were completely finished. She came over when I had 3 pieces left and noticed me picking out the jalapeños(I was hungry and didn’t want to send it back). She asked if that was jalapeños I was picking out and I said yes. I got a dismissive, «sorry». Again, whatever. Won’t be going back based on the service alone.

We had carry-out sushi from Benson’s recently. While the new sushi maker is much faster than the old guy who used to work here, he is no where close in terms of quality of the sushi. It’s a real disappointment to lose our favorite sushi place, but Benson’s sushi is no longer the best in our opinion.

Horrible service the staff was rude. I ordered a cheesecake and it tasted like in came from the frozen section in the grocery store. I only took one bite and sent it back and the manager refused to take it off my bill. The salmon tasted frozen too. Horrible food horrible service, stay away!

I have come here a few times, usually for their lunch. They have a decent selection for lunch, although since their renovation they have gone up on their prices(the prices on the online menu are different then the prices inside the restaurant). The lunchtime rolls are very simple and to the point. I’m not sure if they look more appealing at dinner. You do get a soup AND salad with your order so that’s pretty awesome. I am not a wasabi person and I prefer extra ginger instead. Whenever I requested this I still received wasabi and when I asked for more ginger in its place I was told I had to pay for it even though I had a huge unwanted glob of wasabi all over my plate. I know it seems crazy but that stuff makes me truly gag and I just wish that they listened to the customer on this.

Best sushi in town. Everything else is amazing too, and the staff is very friendly. Try the Ooey Gooey Brownie!

Horrible food !! Great service, decent atmosphere but the food was so bad. We didn’t even eat a second bite. We paid and left. I had the seafood delight. It seemed like imitation seafood soaked in a milk broth. No flavor, no color, just gross. My husband had a chicken dish that looked and tasted like leather. Very disappointed.

I have dined in and ordered take out. I don’t love the restaurant layout. The seats are awkwardly placed. However the food and service is good. I love the shrimp fried rice and sesame chicken. The drinks are good as well. It’s a little expensive but worth it if you’re in the mood for some decent Chinese food and a good drink.

Was not impressed. We were hoping to find this an upscale steak/sushi spot for Warner Robins. I would call it mediocre. We had a good personable server, who was prompt and attentive. Hubby rated his steak very average, baked potato came out hard and had to be sent back. Sour cream came out completely frozen hard. I chose a veggie/noodle stir fry that was just unimpressive. They were out of my first wine choice, which can happen, but there wasn’t a similar substitute available. We made the best of it, and it wasn’t horrible, but we likely won’t be back.

Worse dining experience to date. Booths are cramped and uncomfortable, staff not friendly, and to top it off, the manager argued the wellness of my steak with me, ordered medium, served it well done, I was told my eyes were the problem, not the meat. Food is TV dinner quality at best.

Traveling and had a short layover in Warner Robins, ran across this sushi place and was suspect because of the name(not very sushi sounding). Don’t worry about the name, GO! Really good sushi, great staff, super friendly. We had two of the speciality rolls and some nigiri, Wow, really good stuff.

My favorite sit down Chinese restaurant in town. The pineapple chicken is insane and the sushi never disappoints. They have a full bar and try the chocolate kahlua cake for dessert the owner makes it from scratch. This is a place that is similar to pf changs. If you are looking for cheap Chinese don’t write a bad review on this place about the price just go to wok n roll next door. Bensons has Chinese on lock down.

I have tried to like this place because it’s so close to home and the atmosphere is nice. However, there is no excuse for poor food! Particularly the sushi. especially with the prices. Sixth time was not a charm and there won’t be a seventh.

I didn’t like this place at all. I love sushi, and I always get Sushi from Mikata in Macon. I was in Warner Robins so I decided to try this place. The sushi is absolutely disgusting! Definitely not fresh, and the rolls were so tiny, probably a little bigger than a quarter. Some of the worst sushi I’ve ever had for sure. It tasted like sushi you would get from a grocery store. I had the philly roll which is my favorite, but I can say I will never go here again. There was also no one at the front so I had to stand there for a while before someone noticed me. There was only one car in the parking lot as well. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

When in the mood for non-chain dining, this is a top choice for us. Benson’s is clean and the service is very attentive. Even if your server is busy, others always check on you, remove used dishes, etc. I have never been there and not seen the owner, she is always around and stops by your table to say«hi». She’s a little wacky, but totally present and involved in her business. The food is great. We always get fresh sushi. I love the Philly roll and my husband has tried(and liked) a variety of the spicier rolls. For dinner, the sesame chicken is excellent, the best in WR by far. Steaks are always cooked as ordered and the miso soup is fab. Nice place to take out-of-towners and looking forward to our next visit.

Stopped here to eat on a whim with the hubby. WELOVEDIT. This is a japanese/sushi restaurant. VERY clean and spacious. As soon as you entered the foyer you’re standing under this big, beautiful chandelier. We were greeted and seated quickly. We went on a weekday night, and it was about 6 other tables occupied. Our server arrived promptly and the food came out quickly too and it was steaming hot and fresh. Sorry– we didn’t order any sushi but they had a 2 page menu list of sushi options. The hubby got the seafood delight and I got the sesame chicken. Both came with a small bowl of fried rice. The seafood delight had — shrimp, crabmeat, sugar snap pea shell, mushrooms and some other stuff and it was very delicious. My plates was loaded with sesame chicken on a bed of rice noodles. The service was nice, we never went waiting on our server. The atmosphere was very nice and the price was great. Both meals ran about $ 12 each and we each had tea for $ 2.15 each. I will definitely try it again and try some more food options :) I would recommend this restaurant. PS — uploaded pics
