History

Established in 1982.

Water Wizz began as 6 water slides in 1982 before water parks were the craze. In 1986 a miniature golf course and bumper boat attraction was built. The success of both of these attractions and our customers demand more. The Canal, a large tube ride was added several years later. As our loyal customers grew Water Wizz felt it need to grow. The bumper boat pool was expanded to incorporate a lazy river and a child’s water play area was added. Soon there after Squid Row was on the drawing board, along with the building of a wave pool in 1991. In 1997 Capt. Kid’s Island was created and replaced the miniature golf course. 2013 three new tube rides were added as well as two 65′ free fall slides. In 2009 Adam Sandler’s movie «Grown Ups’ was filmed at Water Wizz. In 2012 Steve Carell’s and Sam Rushford’s «The Way, Way Back» was filmed here showcasing Water Wizz.
