This is my go-to place for nails. They do a pretty good job and are friendly. What I probably love the most is they’re usually never busy enough to have to wait for a chair. I don’t have the patience or time to wait 45 minutes for an hour manicure or pedicure. They also often have sales on gel manicures or mani/pedis and they do coupons as well certain times of the year.

I stopped into Kai for a manicure/pedicure after work, and I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. I don’t remember the names of the two technicians that did my nails, but they did fantastic work. My nails came out beautifully, and I loved that they took the time to make sure that the polish was completely dry before putting my shoes back on. I was the last customer before closing, and even though they literally turned the lights off right after I left, I was never made to feel rushed at any point during my visit. This will be the nail salon I go to from now on.

From the outside it looks crappy, as the saying goes don’t judge the book by its cover… Since I move to Dutchess County I’ve been looking for the right place to do my nails the way I like them done. Anite { sorry if I misspell her name } did an amazing job and went to the extreme . Inside is very clean and spacious I highly recommended this place, I’m Giving it a 7 star rating.

I went back the following week for a manicure only, but I saw a different manicurist and she was not as good. She let the nail polish touch the cuticle(when the polish doesn’t touch the cuticle it lasts longer, every nail tech should know this). Also she didn’t leave as much dry time between base, polish and top coat, which again makes the polish last longer. It was rushed and my polish chipped in 3 days as opposed to it lasting an entire week when I visited previously. I still felt well attended to, despite the technical mistakes. I will just be sure to go when my godsend lady is working.
