DCH Wappingers Falls Toyota

stupidly got a car from another dealership in New Rochelle, been having issues and have been bringing it here. they are the BEST, have been wonderful and helpful and trying to hard to help me figure out the issue with the car.
so Thank You DCH WF Toyota. you are good people!

Last week the dreaded check engine light came on (2004 Corolla.) I’d just moved and needed a new service center. I work long hours and even though dealerships cost more, the convenience and ability to get the work done right away on an old car is worth it to me.
We did a whole bunch of work on the car. But a few days after picking it up, the engine light came on again.
I called. They were excellent about fitting me in for a Saturday appointment. However, Saturday morning there was a work emergency so I couldn’t make that appointment.
I called to see if I could get in there Sunday and discuss the issue. No one called me back despite repeated promises from the receptionist.
Sunday I just went over. Met a super helpful service advisor who spent fifteen minutes discussing the problem with me. (They don’t have mechanics working Sunday who can handle bigger problems, which makes sense.)
Brought the car in again, they found the trouble and fixed it free. Car runs great now.
So other than that one glitch, they’ve been great.

First let me say that this review is not against Toyota. In fact it is the best & most trouble free car I have ever owned. However then other day I brought my car in for service at the appointed time. After waiting an hour & a half I went to the write up man and asked where my car was. He went into the mechanics area an said that my car was next to come in. The car was there for an OIL CHANGE ! An oil change takes 20 minutes to do not 2 hours. These people have no regard for the customers time. I have been there in the past and everything was fine. Now they have put up a new building and filled it with party balloons but the people have changed & the service is now crap. I was considering purchasing a new Toyota but it will not be at Wappinger Toyota.

Excellent Sales Staff starting with Mike Ohare who stepped me through a test drive of a brand new 2015 Camry LE. The whole process was flawless and then when I went to service my vehicle for my first oil change the professionalism courteous personnel definitely made me happy I chose this dealership.

Drove 1.5 hours to come by a car, had an appointment recieved conformation the morning of. When I arrived I had to wait 30 mins then they told me sorry the car had sold last night.
Very displeasure with the service here !!

Decided to start using them for my older Lexus (Lexus = Toyota). First time car needed door locking mechanism changed. I brought them the part and they said no problem. They managed to break a clip inside the door and had to order the parts (OK, stuff happens). Door would not close, car was unusable. This is my only car so I ask if they have loaners, service writer said no. After confronting him saying that they broke my only car, he went to talk to the service manager. Next thing you know a loaner car shows up.
Second trip; needed brakes, a NYS inspection and asked that they look at my hood latch that only seems to latch when it feels like. Brought in car at 7:30 AM, finally heard I needed all four sets of brakes around 3PM. Picked up car around 5PM and took home. Opened the hood and sure enough, the latch is still balky and I almost didn’t get the hood to close.
Sorry guys, you disappointed me twice. I tried you because you are local and I assumed that your prices HAVE to be cheaper than Lexus. I’m heading back to Lexus and their sky high prices (yeah, thankfully I can afford it). At least if something goes wrong, the high prices allow for loaners.

My husband and I decided to lease a 2015 Corolla as a shared family vehicle to use around and about town. Went to DCH Wappingers dealership — this makes our 3^rd vehicle from DCH. We enjoy doing business with them and especially our salesman Mike O’Hare. Mike is courteous, friendly and very informative. He expedited the lease with help from Rob in finance and left with the car in a few hours. Mike is most definitely a pleasure to do business with. With all my auto dealership experiences in the past, we receive consistent, professional services from DCH Wappingers.
Highly recommend.

Terrible service and I bought a used rav 4 from them a year ago I had Toyota care and they tried to charge me for the oil change and inspection which is free as part of Toyota care terrible service desk person I had to wait another 20 minutes on top of half a day of waiting. What happened to that place used to be awesome back in 2009

We bought our used certified Toyota back in April. We needed a car ASAP and Chris helped us get our car on the weekend. Including a car loan. Chris and Michael (the finance guy) stayed an extra 2 hours to make sure we left with our new car. And we were not the only ones still there past closing. They care about the customers No one in there was pushy (like they are at Curry) and very professional. Now, wer’e going this weekend for our first oil change. Hoping it’ s the same for service. :D

The single best service department I’ve ever met. Good value, exceptional service, no BS. These people don’t work on commission. They want your service to be good. That’s it. Total professionals. If that’s not enough, free coffee, bagels in morning. Fresh Italian cookies in afternoon, free wifi.

Great experience and the best price by far from any other dealer in Westchester or Dutchess.

Couldn’t be more pleased with their service! I am not a huge fan of buying a car in the first place, but Mike O’Hare made it quick and painless. Toyota’s are great vehicles so they virtually sell themselves, but Mike took the time to answer every question and made the experience very enjoyable. Rich, the finance manager, was also very helpful, polite and not pushy. He even reached out to me on his day off regarding a situation about my purchase. I can’t say enough good things about them! If you need a vehicle, you would be wise to make DCH your first stop!

I really liked these guys. Naeem was very helpful, as was everyone else I dealt with throughout the buying process (for a pre-​owned certified car). I would totally go back there. They were professional, friendly, understanding, polite. After I bought my car and got it home, I noticed a few tiny nicks in the paint (I was a nervous wreck and not the most observant). Instead of telling me, Sorry! They had me in ASAP and touched up the nicks. They explained everything clearly at every step. I am pretty sure (a few months in with this car) that I would return to them when I’m ready for the next one!

Great customer service. Akeem was very respectful and friendly. My purchase was not by choice due to the lack of care provided from another dealership when I had CEL issues with my previous car (I was at that dealer FOUR times and my car was worse off after the last time).
Akeem showed us affordable options and went to work on lowering prices when «affordable» wasn’t affordable. We purchased a vehicle and were really surprised at the free optionS we received after the purchase.

Very rude of a salesman to announce your credit score out loud to everyone around you. Privacy should always be a priority in good customer service.

Fast service for an oil change. I didn’t get a car wash, post-​service, like at my usual place but every place is different. I would still return here for the friendly staff and speedy, yet, efficient work.

I am in a rare situation where I can buy a vehicle sight unseen over the phone. This is a test of dealers integrity and also their ability to be a bit flexible — rather than asking you scripted questions from their first day of training they can figure out what my needs are and make a relatively fast sale. These guys passed «the test» with flying colors — truthful, efficient, completely professional — and even the cosy small town feel hard to get over the phone. I would highly recommend this place — save yourself from others in the industry that often make it spending your money such a pain — these guys deserve your business.

Wife & I purchased our new 2010 Rav4 at this location and I have to say it’s been nothing but an amazing experience from the purchase of our vehicle to the maintenance.
When we were shopping for our vehicle we naturally visited every dealer known to man and every dealer was very pushy (typical). Our frustrations from shopping for our vehicle turned to joy when we walked into this Toyota dealer and met with Mike Gruan (not sure on spelling of last name) but he was patient, answered all my wifes questions and even thoroughly explained the features of the vehicle we were interested in. Before we test drove our vehicle we felt like experts on the model because Mike was so detailed.
We were not rushed during our test drive as the salesman wanted us to be completely sure we were happy with our pick. At the time of signing we were not pressured into the deal at all, though once the financing started we did feel a little pressure from the finance guy. We simply were firm and preferred dealing with Mike the sales guy who was not pushy at all, matter of fact we wanted to buy from him because he was so great.
We’ve put about 10K miles into our new Rav4 and on our subsequent visits for service I must say it’s been a very pleasant experience. The location is a ways off from my home but I prefer it over my local Toyota dealer where service seems to differ significantly in price.
Are all sales guys at this location treated equally? Probably not but hopefully Mike is there when you decide to stop in.
