Bx Bagel Factory

Don’t think for a second all you can get here is bagels! I have yet to go into this place and not find a new delicious meal to eat every time. They make the best shakes after a hard workout. Highly recommend

This is my favorite bagel shop ever! The staff is awesome, the owner is the nicest guy and always greets you with a smile, besides the bagels being like NYC bagels– the food is fresh, great and made to order. Do yourself a favor and get over here. If you’re looking for catering, this place will take your order and make sure to absolutely deliver!

I love love LOVE this place. I love the vintage photos on the wall of Bronx locations. The staff are super friendly and professional. The food is DELISH! They have a vast variety of bagels and cream cheeses. The bagels always taste fresh and the cream cheese — Yum! I’ve also tried some of their sandwiches –which are a variety– are also fantastic. However, I have to rave about their wraps. I have been to plenty of deli’s around Hudson Valley and this place is by far the BEST! The wraps are loaded not wimpy or dry like other deli’s I have tried and I’ve tried a lot looking for my favorite spot. Boom! Found it at Bx Bagel Factory. To top all of this, they even catered a small event that I had and at the last minute. Gabe was super nice about it and all of my guests raved about the food. I’m born and raised in the Bronx and I am happy I found a little Bronx in the Hudson Valley!

Went here November of 2014. This place gets five stars from the Corned-​Beef Reuben on Everything Bagel alone! The guy who I believe to be the manager/​owner made it himself and it was killer! We got some other breakfast sandwiches and I ordered a cinnamon bagel with cream cheese and they are legit all around food-​wise. I remember the counter girl was a little feisty but maybe that was me being from the South and she being a New Yorker. Haha.

There are many bagel places around the Wappingers Falls/​Fishkill area but none as good as BX.
I work right next door to this place and have never been disappointed. The bagels are fantastic, perfect paired with their variety of cream cheeses, butters, or as the bread for any of their fantastic sandwiches!
The staff is very friendly and the prices are excellent for the quality of the food they provide.

They are very nice and they have wonderful bagels. They toast them properly and are generous with the cream cheese. Best bagel in the Hudson valley! They also have a really good deli.

Stopped by at 10:45 AM to get a sandwich. No crowd, no wait. Young man comes over and ask to help me. I tell him it is my 1^st time here and I just saw him comming into work (Saw him in parking lot). He tells me he is the assistant manager and coming from another place. Me… «I’ll take a turkey on roll with mayo and lettuce, s&p»…Counterperson…“you got it. potatoe or mac salad?” I say.“it comes with it? ” counterperson «Yep!».HMMMM, NICE! COST $ 7.51,OUCH! OK the roll was nice and fresh and a good amount of turkey.
Got to my destination to eat… OH OH… no lettuce! How complicated was my order? The potatoes salad bonus… scary oil oozing on top.

Had high hopes for this place, it’s in a good location right next to planet fitness. But the bagels were probably the worst bagels around. They had no taste at all and are very small. Service is okay. I gave it two or three chances hoping it would get better but I probably won’t be going back.

When I walked into the shop I had high hopes. The walls are decorated with fire fighter décor and even a police shirt. But that’s where it all ended. The woman behind the counter seemed less interested in taking my order then to looking at her cell phone. The bagels were ok, but not great. Same with the coffee. I really wanted to like it here, but there are better options around.

Definitely not «the best bagel place around.» I get the appeal this place has, but once you get past the wall art, flat screen tvs, and the ever changing menu options, the bagels are just okay. No, they’re not terrible, but growing up eating Hopewell Hot Bagels I’ve come to expect a good sized bagel. The ones you’ll find at BX are about an inch in diameter and the prices are high.
The worst part about this place, is the time it takes to get your order once you’ve placed it. When I do visit BX Bagel Factory, it’s on my lunch brake. I don’t have time to wait 10 – 15 minutes for a sandwich, which is not including how long I waited to place the order. Having to wait that long probably hurts them even more in this review because all the negativity festers as I’m forced to wait a ridiculous amount of time for you to spread butter on a bagel. The only time I’ve returned is if the In & Out Deli is closed up the street. Their operation behind the counter always seems uncoordinated and unorganized.
I will compliment their butter and cream cheese options. They offer varieties such as cinnamon sugar butter, cinnamon raisin cream cheese, maple walnut cream cheese, maple butter, etc.
In summery, there are much better options besides the BX Bagel Factory. If you’re looking for a bagel shop, check out Hopewell Hot Bagels, or Bagel World. If you’re looking for a Boarshead sandwich, check out In & Out Deli.

After having their protein smoothies, I decided to try the salad bar. Everything was fresh and delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the service was great! I’m going back !!

Everything is great here. Now if they just had some friendly cashiers who don’t seem to dread working and who had some confidence in taking an order this place would be AMAZING.

Best service! Great bagels! Friendly staff! And not to mention the owner is very nice and friendly! Defiantly try the number 7 from the breakfast menu! A lot of variety!!! It’s a must go!

This is definitely the best bagel shop in the area. It is a really nice, clean, open, and friendly spot. The owner and his family are really awesome, attentive, and sweet (the owner’s granddaughter is similar in age to my daughter, so we always talk when we go there). The food is really tasty and good — my favorite is (or maybe the number changed since) a #9 — it’s a maple donut drizzled with powdered sugar and honey. So amazing… I then usually get an egg white and cheese omelette with hot sauce.
I am only giving 4 stars instead of 5 (and wish I could honestly give 4.5 instead of 5) because the staff other than the owner are sometimes very difficult to communicate with, sometimes mess up orders or forget to include things in the order that they come out and bring, and if you have a request after you make your order, it is really difficult to get anyone’s attention to request a change or addition. It makes ordering a little cumbersome.
Overall, however, this place is my favorite joint for bagels in the area. I highly, highly recommend it.
