Brookmeade Deli

I been here a couple times for breakfast and lunch and I have to say the food was great. I got a bacon egg and cheese for breakfast and it was one of the best egg sandwiches I’ve had. The bacon was cooked to perfection and the egg was cooked just the way I wanted. I got a cold cut sandwich for lunch and it was great. There was a good amount of meat but not too much that you can’t fit your mouth around it. And thr bread was so fresh you would of thought it just came out the oven. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes a good deli

If you are hungry and want the best deli in town come here. Carol Lee is an amazing person with hands of picasso when it comes to the kitchen. Favorite deli by far

I’ve only been here once (this morning) and if I have more experiences like I did this morning, I will happy to provide this establishment with a 5 star rating. First, it’s hard to say this deli is in the «greater NYC area» as the previous poster claimed. The cousin of this region varies greatly by ethnic influence the closer you get to the 5 boroughs. This deli, as a significant portion are in this area, seems to be heavily Italian influenced. They provide homemade mozzarella for purchase or for your «wedge» (I was born and raised in lower Westchester county Ny and always get happy when I see someone call a long sandwich a ‘wedge’! A ‘hero’ for those who are unfamiliar) My husband and I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. I asked for our egg yolks slighty runny and decided to eat inside. The coffee is good (they put the ‘fixins’ in for you) and the sandwiches are delicious! They gave us our sandwiches on toasted poppy seed kaiser rolls (the toasted aspect was a nice surprise!), the eggs were cooked well (the eggs weren’t as runny as I’d like but the overall sandwich tasted like how mama used to make) and the bacon was tasty and not chewy at all. This deli offers only boars head cold cuts — and this is really important for me in a deli because there is no comparison in taste or quality with non-​boars head cold cuts. The owner was there today as they are short staffed (but there was no wait for our sandwiches at all! we wouldn’t have even known) and she was very pleasant to speak with. I will definitely be back.

I’m a regular here mainly because of how close it is to my house. The food is standard quality for greater NYC area. I recommend the bacon egg and cheese breakfast Samige.
