The Learning Zone

Our children have had wonderful experiences at the Learning Zone in Waltham. The facility is well-​run and clean. Most importantly, the teachers have provided excellent care to our two children. They genuinely know and care about the kids, and keep them busy with a variety of activities and projects.
My daughter was enrolled here for three days a week from age 6 months until beginning kindergarten this year, and it became a home away from home for her. The preschool program helped provide her with a solid background for school and she is very well prepared for a lifetime of learning.

We’ve had excellent experiences at The Learning Zone. My toddler has a lot of fun there and his teachers are really caring… my son has really formed bonds with them. I’m not sure what the deal is with the bad review below.
They keep the kids busy with projects, outdoor playtime, etc. They’re diligent about diaper changes and we’ve never had problems with diaper rashes. My son comes home in a good mood, well fed, and clean.
The facility is nice and clean and has lots of toys, an indoor playspace, and an outdoor playground.
The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that things can be a little disorganized. (eg. my son has been sent home with another kid’s bottles or clothes, once they misplaced my son’s immunization records and we needed to get a new copy)

I’ve been very happy with this place over the past few months. I have two children attending here. The staff is friendly, the facilities are clean, and my children are happy and safe there. There isn’t much more you can ask for, for the price. They are clean, happy, and fed when I pick them up. They don’t complain about going there. One of my children is in an infant in one of the infants room — to me it appears he does what babies do (eat, sleep, play) and the staff is doing there job to keep the babies fed, changed and as happy as possible. I’ve had my kids in a few different day cares over the years and I would rate this as excellent for the price. All of the procedures, routines, and activities are typical for what I’ve seen — maybe a little less structure than some places, which has both pros and cons. I’ve had my kids in two different Bright Horizons centers, and yes, they are top notch — but also top dollar! If you can’t afford that (like I certainly cannot in the Boston area!) then this is a great alternative.

When we first singed our child up we had a great experience, however now it is not what it was. Very disppointed and would never send my child back there! Very disappointed!
