Another mechanic I had (repeat had) been using said it was a huge job and would be well over $ 1000. Speros took care of everything for under $ 600. He has my business and I’ve referred others to go to him. You will not be disappointed.

So I got a used sports car that had never been taken care of before and required a lot of work. Unfortunately pretty much anywhere I went for car maintenance people would seem to try to take advantage of me.
My downstairs neighbor recommended speros to me and I decided to give him a shot. Speros did for a couple hundred bucks for me what another person would have charged a couple thousand.
As the previous poster said, he was very honest and explained everything in detail. I had bought my own parts online to get them cheaper and he didn’t mind. A lot of car guys want you to buy parts through them so that they can make more money.
I stopped by one day because my windshield wipers decided they were going to start randomly falling off and he slapped some brand new ones on for me, no charge. He wouldn’t even accept tip!
He is very nice, honest, with honest prices and he is a very competent mechanic and really knows what he is doing. I really doubt you will find another mechanic anywhere that has all those qualities together.
I now live about a 50 minute drive away and I am going in to have him do a couple minor things for me (change oil, etc) rather than the 200 closer places. That is how pleased I am with this guy!

My experience with Spero’s Auto was exceptional! My car needed a significant amount of work; a new clutch, gasket, battery, oil change and there was an issue with the computer system (Honda with 180k miles and never had work done to it before). I felt that Speros was very honest and didn’t try and sell me anything I didn’t need. He explained everything in detail before he went ahead and did the actual work. He even went the extra mile in calling around for the best price for what I needed for the computer issue and delivered my car on-​time as promised.
I also referred a friend who dropped his car off the following week and had an equally great experience. If you are looking for a place that isn’t going to rip you off and cares about doing good work — this is your place!
