We booked a special Rocket Science-​themed party for my son’s seventh birthday. Our party leader, Rob, did a great job: The kids were enthralled and had so much fun. The kids’ take-​home items they provided were great, too, and did double-​duty as our party favors. I’m so glad a friend recommended this company, as we were very pleased with the quality of their services.

Fantastic party! My 8-​year old, science-​obsessed daughter was very impressed and thought it was her best birthday party ever! Natasha was engaging and funny and the experiments were perfect for the age group. Would highly recommend!

My son (Erik) was turning 5 and honestly, we were tired of the trampoline, gymnastic parties — he wanted something different and educational. We hired Mad Science of Greater Boston and it was a great experience. Shannon (the scientist) was great with kids and an inspiration to the girls in the room — yes, girls can be scientists too! They loved the egg experiment as well as the dry ice (we did pay extra for this — but totally worth it — even for the adults). They made silly putty as a take home gift. Shannon also gave a science poster gift for Erik too. Finally, we were totally lazy and outsourced the gift bags to them too — another hit. We heard from 2 parents the next day that their kids were playing with the items — which was perfect for a snowy day. Thank you for a great experience overall!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They seriously overcharge for their workshops. They charge close to $ 200 for a generic one hour workshop with dull, unenthusiastic instructors. The material is not interesting or engaging to kids. They make lame take homes to make it seems like you got your money’s worth, but you will not. Serious waste of time and money. You could put on the workshops they do yourself. Easily. The director is extremely rude and pushy. The office staff is also rude on the phone. Overall terrible experience working with them. If you are looking for a fun workshop or event for your child’s birthday party I cannot tell you strongly enough to look elsewhere.
