History

Established in 1984.

Suzanne Hamby has been teaching ballroom dancing in the Boston area since 1984. She is currently located in Waltham where she and her staff enjoy teaching others the joy of dancing.

Business Owner

Suzanne Hamby graduated from Brown University with a degree in neuro-​linguistics, but fell in love with ballroom dancing & decided to make it her career.

She amassed many titles including North American Champion, United States Champion, Eastern U.S. Champion and New England Champion. She was chosen to represent the United States in four World Championships.

She won the prestigious Feather Award for «Best Female Dance Teacher in the United States» and twice won the Feather Award for «Best Professional Dancer in the United States.»

For 13 years she was featured on the nationally televised «Championship Ballroom Dancing». She also appeared in the movie «Substitute 4», and numerous television commercials.

Among Suzanne’s students are many with National and Regional titles. She has won numerous «Top Teacher» and «Top Studio» awards.

Suzanne’s professional accreditations include membership in the National Dance Council of America.

Suzanne teaches all levels from beginners to professionals.
