Not all 99’s are the same. This place has the friendliest staff. Service is awesome. I highly recommend checking them out.

Living in Westwood, this is my closest 99 Restaurant. It sits on a space directly on Route 1 by the Norwood /East Walpole line, across from the Walpole Mall. I have been going here for years and have not ever once had a bad experience. In the past, the news reported some expired /bad food being given at the 99 restaurant in Foxborough, but never the Walpole location… proving this location is just that-much more trustworthy. All of the employees at this location are always friendly, and this location rarely ever has a wait. Food is delicious(love burgers from here!), and always is out in a reasonable amount of time. Restaurant is large and always clean, for a plus. They even have«curbside» for take out orders(meaning they will bring out your food for takeout!). My only complaint about the Walpole location is the parking. The lot is sort of like bumper cars and not designed very well. Located right on Route 1, and very close to I-95(Exit 9 from I-95 North, Exit 10 from I-95 South). 5 stars.

Solid, regional chain with 102 locations throughout New England and upstate NY. Good prices, good portions, pretty good quality. My expectations were exceeded. Great service!

The foods are pretty tasty here. We had a big group order, and there was no issues. The price is apparently very reasonable.

Good quality food for the price. I ordered the turkey club. There was no shortage of turkey on this sandwich. Nicely done. Tara was very attentive checked back in just enough times. Nice experience.

I’ve been to this chain restaurant many times. Moreover, I’ve been to many restaurants and never have I had a better waitress. Marie is her name. In fact, if I were you, I would request her. Her service was personable, prompt and extremely courteous. We left her an extra tip. She made my visit feel like it was home. The food itself was delicious — no complaints. 5 stars for fantastic service. I’ve been many places were the service was severely lacking and that wasn’t the case with Marie.

Okay, the food here is good and affordable. The staff is great as well. The reason why they are getting 3 stars from me is because I did a to go order and they mess it up. I got the shoreline combo and what I got was half ass– when I called and spoke to the manager he said he will send me a gift card in the mail for my troubles and so I don’t have to drive all the way back. Guess what? Its been over a month, no gift card. I could call and complain but I really don’t feel like dealing with it. So I haven’t gone back, just because of this. I told my family as well to avoid them as well, there is a few of us that live right up the street in Norwood.

Dinner here was good, service was good. It’s a chain, nothing spectacular but solid food for the money. Only criticism is that the aisle space is rather lacking. Wait staff have a real challenge not bumping into one another as patrons do heading to the table and getting up to leave.

I left my conference at lunch time and my companion and I started to drive back to NJ/PA and said we’d stop somewhere along the way for lunch. As we came upon 99, I decided to stop. I had never eaten in one, even though I’ve driven past them many times on my trips to New England. A quick check of the Unilocal reviews and we decided to go in.(THANKS Unilocal!) Inside reminded me of an old Ground Round. Staff was very friendly. Beer is a bit high priced, but we ordered anyway. My companion’s classic burger was delicious. She said it was one of the best she’s had in a long time. Based on reviews here on Unilocal,I ordered the cold lobster roll. I was pleasantly surprised at how much lobster was in the roll. It was delicious. I will be back next time I’m in the area.

The old saying you get what you pay for. At the Ninety nine they really do give you your moneys worth. They food is well above average at an affordable price. I always come back for more

I am a regular at this 99 Restaurant and stopped in for Saturday dinner after 9PM. The restaurant was in disarray as the kitchen was backed up and they did not have many menu items like prime rib sandwich and fish n chips. To run out of popular entrees on a Saturday night is unacceptable. Ordered boneless buffalo tenders which were not buffalo and tasteless and the fried shrimp was tasteless. Overall very disappointed.

I feel like my entire meal came out of a microwave. Had the seafood bisque which seemed straight out of a container and had no chunks at all. My BBQ chicken wrap was less than stellar and only had 3 small pieces of chicken inside. The biscuits are definitely pillsbury. Won’t be coming back.

I have ben going to this 99 for most of my life. They are good but nothing great. Its a decent meal but I would probably go somewhere else for the money. I do get a lot of take out and am usually a little disappointed with this here. The portions seem small and its not usually cooked as I ordered it.

Great surf and turf and our waitress asked me to cut into my steak to make sure its done perfectly — high end restaurants are too busy thinking they know how to cook a steak to make sure this is actually cooked as you ordered it. This was actually a better overall meal than I had at Cinquecento in Boston the week before.

The quality of this chain varies widely, however I can usually count on 99 for a decent beer and a nice piece of fish for dinner. I really do like the salmon here, the veggies are usually steamed perfectly. It’s not a culinary masterpiece, just properly and professionally cooked and served food. It seems that the bar is the go to spot to grab a beer with a client or co-worker, tables are usually for couples or families grabbing a quick bite to eat.

Eh. Bland. Boring. Typical. Watery clam chowder. I will say that the quality of food has improved somewhat over the years. They used to give you free cheese and crackers, but have since been victimized by the economy and now give popcorn.
