U-Haul Moving & Storage

I recently rented two moving trucks from this U-​Haul company in June. When I picked up the trucks to rent, both gas tanks were not filled to the top. I was told to just bring them back with the level of gas in which I rented the trucks. Both times I did bring the trucks back with gas over the gas limits in which I had rented the trucks. I later found two gas charges totaling $ 50.00 when I had picked the truck up with a less than full gas tank and was told to return them at the same level. There was no communication among employees. Just make sure you never rent a truck with a less than full gas tank. Very disappointed.

Great service, and I’d definitely use again in the future.
I used this U-​haul company because it was close to the Finz. I had to move a bunch of my stuff from my current place to her place, so I needed a 10ft truck; about the size of a bedroom’s worth of stuff. I reserved online and picked this location because I saw on yahoo that it was ranked high and also because it was only about a mile away.
When first pulling into the yard, it looks a little strange; almost as if you’re pulling into a junk yard. It’s near the railroad and the office building looks like one of those old small hangar looking buildings from a WWII movie or something, he he he. But you can see the army of Uhauls (well, if you come in the morning at least, by the time I returned my truck, there were only like 2 left… word to the wise — RESERVE ahead of time!), so you know you’re at the right place. One thing missing from this Uhaul locale is all the «extra» help hanging around asking you if you need help w/​your move. It was just a few employees and the throngs of us (well, okay, 5 only when I got there, but that was 8AM!) waiting for trucks.
So what makes this a four-​start location when it looks so dingy? Service. Justin was my uhaul associate and he was extremely helpful. Tried to get me out of there as quick as possible and told me everything I needed. Even told me how big the tank was so I could refill the gas accordingly. So i had a great experience; and if I have to move again in the near future… and i hope it’s not that near, I’d definitely go thru them again!
