This is my first and perhaps only written recommendation on Unilocal.
From the initial phone call to Mia and her Team, they were patient in determining our needs as homeowners. They provided the best service in our first time selling a house. While putting a house on the market can become complicated, they made every step of the process as simple and understandable as possible. The professionalism that everyone displayed is comparable to none — from the amazing video of our home to the expedient work completed by every team member up to when we left our house to a deserving family. McLeod and Associates utilize the power of social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), and they provide personal personable attention through phone calls and visits. The house was in escrow and sold in record time above our asking price! I could not have asked for a better experience. You’d have to be a real ‘Inspector Clouseau’ not to have guessed that this big news is what has kept hubby and I busy the past few months. We’ve both been nervous to announce the news til it was official official. Home loans are very tricky and every day there were questions and talk regarding percentage rates, closing costs, final credit submissions, REBATES, asking for my recent pay stubs, secret pin codes, and full tax forms /​bank statements dating back to the dinosaur age. I was like, ‘Sure, of course, let me get you the serial number to my flux capacitor too.’
Worked with our broker, McLeod & Associates along with EVERYONE within that team of ninjas. (Highly recommended!) Working with them made for a very smooth journey that made all of this possible. The amount of professionalism we’ve encountered was phenomenal. Always so good at making sure you feel important throughout the process. Even though we didn’t request for any weekly updates, we got it! Whether it was an email at 2am or a quick text in the throughout the day. The McLeod team definitely spun their wheels, kept on moving, kept us in the loop every step of the way, worked very long hours, never quit and moved mountains to make this happen. Not only just us but I’m sure they were doing this simultaneously with other families too.
So, as of 3:00pm today, I kept saying (in my best Ty Pennington voice of course), «Welcome home, Estoesta family, welcome home.» I can hardly believe Edward and I are officially home owners of that cute little 20’s Spanish style house!

My husband and I met Mia and Len when they were handing out flyers to a neighbor’s house they were selling. We let them know we were interested in selling our house and they kept in touch until we were ready to sell. They have always been incredibly professional but also very approachable and easy to talk to. We received 4 offers on our house after only 3 days on the market and they really helped us choose the best and most qualified buyer. Every week Len would send us an «end of week» update so we were always in the loop and knew what was already done and what was coming up. They were very prompt in answering any call, email, or text and were always happy to talk to us. I wish they would be able to represent us in buying our next property, but we are unfortunately moving out of this area. I would highly recommend McLeod & Associates, in one word, they are AMAZING!

Used them to get a pre approval and to see what was out there instead of renting. Their pre approval was quick (it took 2−3days) and their rates were the best. Quickens was 4percent, schools first was 4.1, and Mia worked to get a 3.75 approved. Both Len and Darwin were very professional and kept my family’s needs at the forefront. They accomodated my requests even though I was pretty crazy and stubborn during the process.
I look forward to working with them again and will reccomend them to family/​friends.

I have used Mia and her team twice now to get in and out of a home. They are the most professional team I have ever worked with and always have confident answers. They are also extremely patient and know what the buyer is looking for. They are not pushy or just looking for a sale. Mia and Len do everything they can to make sure you have the most pleasant buying experience possible. Their associates in their office and extremely courteous and helpful as well. I was referred by a coworker of mine who happened to be a relative of hers. My husband and I were first time buyers and were looking for a house in L.A. while he was stationed in Colorado. Mia and Leonard were always friendly, professional, and patient with us (being first time buyers). Every time I spoke to Mia she made me feel like a friend which I thought was very important in trusting them.
Buying a house for the first time can be frustrating and stressful, especially when the other half is in another state, but Mia was always on top of things. She is a-​take-​charge kind of person and will not take no for an answer.
She fought for the bank to accept the price for the house it was appraised for and not for what we bid. She always said, «Bid high! Once the house is appraised for the bank has to take that price!» She was right and she knows her stuff. We were very pleased with her business, we keep in touch, I invited her to my baby shower to the same house she sold us!
We even went back to her for our refinance and once again she did not disappoint!
In the middle of our refinance my uncle was not doing so well in health and I asked her for a connection for an attorney to do a living trust. Sure enough she did know someone who is as trustworthy and professional as she.
It is always good to keep these kinds of connections, such as Mia, because you never know what life may throw at you and Mia knows a lot of people.

What a pleasure it was to work with McLeod & Associates! In every meeting and interaction with the team, I was met with genuineness, professionalism and a personalized experience. I was in a tough spot with a desire to purchase a condo without having to give up my first house. Mia, Len and team leveraged their creativity and problem solving to make this happen. Not really sure how to begin this review or what to write in the review itself. So I apologize if I’m all over the place.
My wife and I are first time home buyers and it has been a year since we bought our home and I couldn’t be more happy with how everything went down. And let me tell you that ish. went. dooowwn. (I’m not really going to tell you. I said that more as a figure of speech. But stuff did go down though, just not anything bad… Obviously since we got the house.)
I know nothing about real estate, buying a house, loans, blah, blah blah, etc. So when they did all the work and all I had to do was review and sign, I was very happy.
My dad was selling his house around the same time and while they are two different experiences (I would think) my dad seemed to never know what was going on while I was constantly bombarded with updates! If there is any complaint at all about The Team it’s that they constantly email and/​or call you with updates. It’s like they treat you as if you’re their only client. What kind of way is that to treat somebody?! The nerve.
Anyways. Now, a year later, we are hoping to refinance the house and guess who’s helping us. We actually found this really great realty team in Fullerton. Just kidding. We will only go to The McLeod Team for anything that involves real estate… Because it seems like they know what they’re doing ;)

Our experience on our first realtor agent has been a disaster. I wasn’t too happy on my first house, location was terrible and they are lots of issue with the house. after living for 5 years I run in to one of Mia’s show in Kababayan LA in LA-​18, as a matter of fact, my mother-​in-​law saw the show first and recommended to call the McLeod & Associates. after our first initial meeting, I am very please how professional and knowledgeable Mia and Len, they had given me all the information I needed and what to expect. Everyone in McLeod Team has its special purpose and all are very good at what they do. I could not thank them enough, Patrick made a beautiful high quality pictures and know exactly which part of the house are good to show to the public, they have many tools to showcase the property, they were able to use a social media, website, sign on the house and more beyond my expectations. Len are like a guru in real estate, he is able to explain what type of property I had, when is a good time to sell, and he was strategically suggest what is the best selling price, so we can get as many bid as we can, everything Len tells me is been proven and he has a documents to show me what is current, past, present and historically informations which helps me tremendously for my decision. Michelle from the reception area is very organized and great communicator, she was able to accommodate all the showings to my availability, I believe there are over 70 showings she organized to see the property. This is great so we are able to maximize the price of the property and we have lots of option. Again, Thank you Mia and the team for helping us to sell our house, I am looking forward and excited to work with you again soon, when are ready to purchase our next future house.

Painless. The PERFECT word to capture my family’s experience in buying our 1^st home through McLeod & Associates.
Some background info: prior to going to McLeod & finding our home, my wife, 1-​year old son, & I were living with my parents after our apartment lease ended. Quarters were tight, to say the least, & only getting tighter with my wife expecting in early April. Needless to say, it was time to move.
But to where? Another apartment? Rent a house or condo? All we knew is we needed SPACE. We weren’t even thinking about buying at the time. After watching shows on HGTV & hearing stories about how tough it was to find a house, or the even tougher alternative of finding a house, falling in love with it, only to be disappointed in the end because of one reason or another, it seemed like a distant option for our family that had a baby on the way & little time to become fully engrossed in a search for a house.
Then we were referred by a friend to McLeod & Associates. They had found their dream home through them, so we thought, «What the heck, it can’t hurt to try.» Boy were we glad to have made that decision.
First impression left us… well…quite impressed. Walking into their offices we realized that this company was legit. Everything looked in order, organized, clean, & very presentable… from their front desk, to the cubicles that filled the main office, to the conference room. Accolades upon accolades were prominently hanging on the walls, not to mention the great promotional materials displayed throughout.
After being greeted, we met with Leonard and Mia. The duo was dressed VERY professionally. We had a feeling that these were the kind of people that don’t mess around and get the job done. Our first conversation with them confirmed this. Even though it was just a short meeting to introduce ourselves, they were able to speak eloquently & charismatically, inform us about the home-​buying process, & give us comforting and reassuring words that left us confident about buying a home. We didn’t feel pressured at all, & that was a huge selling point for us. Even though this was our first time buying a home, one thing we knew was that we would have to be able to really trust our realtors.
After praying about it, we had come to the conclusion that buying a house was the way to go. We told them what we were looking for in our first house, as well as the areas in which we were hoping to buy. Leonard was our main contact throughout the process, with Mia in the background every step of the way. We loved the way they worked together, along with the rest of the team at McLeod, especially Michelle who was responsible for a lot of the paperwork (which if you have ever bought a house before, you KNOW can be never-​ending).
We were extremely blessed to have found our home in such a short time. It was actually the fourth house that we toured. Although I found the listing, Leonard was the one to set up meetings, & do the back-​and-​forth with the listing agent. Because of a «happy accident» we were actually able to meet with the family selling the house when we went to do the initial tour, and I truly believe that it’s because of this meeting between the homeowners, Leonard, & my family that we were able to convince them to sell to us rather than the other bidders who looked at this beautiful property that was listed at a GREAT price.
After the sellers accepted our offer, the McLeod team made the rest of the process as painless as possible. There were a couple of hiccups, but they found a lender & loan for us. All we had to do was provide documents, show up for a couple of walkthroughs, sign some papers, & boom… we had a house by March… which gave us a good month of moving in before my wife was to give bir – UH OH – dun dun DUNNN! Baby decided he wanted out a month early.
So here we are, a family of 4, living in our dream home. We’re still not completely moved in, even though we’ve been here for 5 months, and we have no idea when we’ll be done. It may always be a work in progress… but it’s OUR work in progress & we couldn’t be happier. The only thing that we regret was not being able to meet with Mia after we had gotten the keys to our home, due to our second’s birth & the schedule conflicts that come with having a 1-​year old & a newborn. But leave it to Mia & the rest of the McLeod associates to find a way to be the consummate professionals they are & find a way to thank us for giving them our business.
So when buying a home, turn to true professionals that are committed to their work & do everything with your best interests at heart. There have been so many times when I’ve met with companies that make it no secret that it’s about the bottom line when it comes to their business, but rest assured, this is one company that won’t pressure you when making one of the greatest investments in your life, & won’t do anything unless you’re 100% comfortable with it.

I’m not sure where to start with this testimonial because my wife Stephanie, our kids and I are so happy with our new (to us) home; which was all made possible by Mia, Leonard and Marlene at McLeod and Associates.
To set a little background, this is not the first property I’ve purchased. Over the past 18 years or so I’ve worked with several different realtors to help me find both owned and leased properties to live in so I have experience working with other offices. Fortunately, I’ve never had a bad experience elsewhere but the experience I had with Mia and her team was irrevocably, the best of them all.
Mia and her team’s professionalism, attention and customer service has been excellent. I always feel like I’m her main customer whenever I’m dealing with her and I never feel like I don’t know what’s happening with my transaction. The thing I found most exceptional was how aggressive Mia and her team was with handling our transaction with all parties involved including (but not limited to) the seller, lender and escrow company.

There are so many great qualities I loved about Mia and her team. As many know, the process of buying a home can be very intimidating and stressful, but I can honestly say she made every fear, hesitation, frustration about first time home buying a real dream come true!
We were originally referred to her by a friend. My husband delivered our paperwork initially so I didn’t get to experience my «first impressions» with her office. However, when I finally did see her office for the first time I was impressed on how she immediately introduced us to everyone on her «team» as she gave us a little tour. He really got a good feel of the kind and type of house we were looking for, so they were able to narrow it down to a handful of houses to show us before we put offers on anything. I was very relieved about this because with a new baby, finding a lot of extra time to go look at houses could be challenging! After putting offers on 2 houses that later got rejected, we were surprised that an offer of ours actually got accepted!
I don’t know what Mia, who was behind all the negotiations, did… but she worked her real estate magic and got the sellers of the house to wait for all of our loan issues to clear so that we could get the house we really wanted. It felt like a game, and when everything cleared, we won!

And although they made it look easy, the journey was met with a few challenges due to the seller; even then, Mia and team were quick to resolve every issue and without having to burden us with each and every roadblock. We were first time home buyers, completely green, to say the least. After asking everyone we knew in the LA area about realtors, we finally were referred to Mia by a mutual friend. Not one person in LA proper had an astounding recommendation for any realtor they used… While Mia and her team are out of Walnut, we decided to give them a shot. I cannot say enough about how great they are. Knowledgable, personable, understanding, and genuinely great people to be around.
