It can be difficult and often a skeptical process for anyone wishing to find a trustworthy acupuncturist who is worth the often high price asked in America.
But look no further because Jun Song is definitely the best there is. Having practiced extensively in both China and the states, he offers a traditional and authentic application but is able to communicate and understand the thoughts and needs of newcomers into the world of acupuncture.
He is extremely gentle but very persistent on the process and is very keen on giving you satisfactory results.
I’ve had stomach issues for years. I’ve dieted, I’ve «cleansed», I’ve fasted, I’ve tried different ways of eating. Not only has Dr. Song completely eradicated the plaguing digestion issues and fixed my skin and weight issues associated with it, he also provided me with very detailed advice on how I can ensure my issues don’t come back (diet, exercises, different habits, etc…)
Definitely one of the most genuine acupuncturist who will not disappoint.

The only doctor I will see. Why?
* He brought my mom back from stroke.
* He restored my ankle/​peroneal tendon, from
excruciating pain while walking (injury) to 100% functional.
Also, coordinated care with out of town acu when I had to travel.
An orthopedist had given me a bulky brace and suggested
surgery.
* Got me back to work in 1 day when a nasty virus had me
unable to leave bed. Conventional doc gave me an inhaler, said

I found Dr. Song thru Unilocal.I’ve had severe lower back problem due to herniated disc, spinal stenosis and injuries caused by car accident, etc. I’ve had epidural and cortizone shots which only help for a very short period of time.
My pain became chonic which hurt me consistently and on a daily basis. I was taking Advil and Tylenol to ease the pain somehow, but they were not enough and I became worried for bad side effects.
I finally decided to try acupucture and I was lucky to find Dr. Song who also happened to take my insurance. After 10 visits, in a span of five weeks, I now felt much, much better. Treatment was definitely painful, but its effect made it all worth it. I again get to enjoy playing golf on a regular basis. Thank you Dr. Song.

I have had chronic back pain for years. A couple of years ago my symptoms because worse. I ended up having an epidural, which only helped with the nerve pain. My muscle were so tight and inflamed due to my injury. I have had accupuncture before with the traditional short needles with another practitioner, but it did not help. I found Dr. Song on Unilocal and read the great reviews, so I decided to try him out. I’m not going to lie to you, the needles are very long and his treatments do cause some discomfort, but all worth the pain; no pain… no gain. I actually felt a dramatic difference within the first couple of sessions. I have even traveled to his Pasadena office for treatment. Dr. Song is highly recommended from me.

I have spinal cord injury and went to Dr Song for help. I was skeptical at first but after a few sessions I did experience a noticeable difference in gaining more strength and flexibility. To this day, I continue to improve and owe much of my recovery to his needles. He is knowledgeable and caring and am glad to have been referred to his care.

I’ve now seen Dr. Song for 3 different joint pain issues, and each time he has done an amazing job using the silver needle technique. The first was for pain in my right ankle, from a horseback riding injury over 15 years ago. The second was for when I messed up my shoulder doing one armed push-​ups a few months ago. The third was for my left ankle, as I pushed another workout too far. In each area, I am so pleased to be without pain and have also regained full range of motion.
Jason Song is very polite and professional, doing a thorough initial examination and asking a plenty of questions to properly assess each situation. With every follow-​up visit there is a brief exam and questions, so he can tell what progress has been made and plan that day’s treatment accordingly.
Having used chiropractors for decades now, IMHO the results of Dr. Song’s treatments blow the doors off of chiropractic! I highly recommend his services.

for over seven years I am seeing doctor after doctor to help reduce pain following a big accident, had 9 surgeries and the pain just kept getting worse
after I started treatment with Dr Song I started to feel a relief the first week and now a few months later from pain that required taking massive pain pills almost every day I have almost completely stopped taking the pills!
don’t expect a spa like treatment, it is very painful but the results are worth it!!!

I have terrible back pain for over 25 years, I though that I have to live with suffer rest of my life. Luckily, I found Dr. Song and the miracle happened. My back pain is going away gradually. Gosh… Where can I begin? Firstly, Dr. Song is more than just a doctor! He is every bit of a passionate, concerned and perfecting practitioner. His dedication to being a healer shines in the life changes he has brought to so many patients. I have suffered from debilitating myofascial pain and chronic stiffness in my neck, upper back, shoulders, and face caused by excessive clenching/​grinding of my teeth and repetitive weight-​lifting injuries to soft tissue. My symptoms ranged from migraines, severe lock-​jaw, ear nose and throat related issues such as constant «hissing, popping and crackling» sounds in my ear (maddening), disorientation, vision distortion due to compressed facial nerves, shoulder /​neck stiffness and pain, numbness in the face, pinky and index fingers in addition to the development of a generalized anxiety disorder systemic of my struggle to cope with all the aforementioned symptoms I live with day to day for the past 4 years. Within these 4 years I’ve seen two primary physicians, 3 ENT’s (ear nose & throat doctors), regular dentist (1^st night guard– $ 400), oral surgeon (2^nd mouth piece appliance– covered by insurance but altered my bit /​jaw alignment), a neuromuscular dentist (3^rd mouth piece appliance– $ 3800), allergist, chiropractor, counselor /​psychiatrist, and neuromuscular massage therapists (2 different practitioners). In summary, I still continued to suffer with no alleviation based upon the help of these Western Medicine professionals. I won’t go into all details of what he explained but he essentially listed off everything that I had personally gathered from researching my situation within a matter of 10 mins. Shortly, after Dr. Song left the room to welcome another patient and upon him coming back into my room, tears were falling… these have been the most sincere tears of joy I have ever shed because I knew in that moment that I had FINALLY found a true doctor and healer. From that day forth, I have seen Dr. Song and I am MORE THAN HAPPY to say that I am now close to having all my muscular and myofascial restrictions fully reversed. My sciatica, that I dealt with for 6 years just got worse due to sports injury to my back. It got to the point that it was unbearable to be on my feet for longer then 5 minutes at a time. MRI results was L4 and L5 severe stenosis. A Specialist that I visited told me that I may need a surgery. I’m so glad my friend recommended me to go first visit Dr Jun Song. On my first visit he told me gat he can cure it. In just 3 treatments my back is no longer an issue and my sciatica pain is almost gone just slight tingling here and there. On my next treatment I believe I will be completely cured. I highly recommend Dr Song. He’s very knowledgable and knows what he’s doing.

Dr. Song is the best in treating back pains! I have had back pain for a few years and every morning, it was hard for me to get out of bed. I slept on the floor for almost a year but still, the pain did not go away.
Finally, I decided to go for acupuncture treatment and have been to two other acupuncture doctors prior to Dr. Song. Neither of them were able to cure my back pain even though I felt much better right after the visit. None of their treatment was able to relieve my back pain for more than a week.
Then, my friend referred me to Dr. Song and I decided to give acupuncture another try. He has had special training in pain treatment and his knowledge and skills of treating pain is the best in town. His treatment is clearly more accurate and much more effective than the two other acupuncture doctors I have been through.

Here is his story:
I was diagnosed with nerve damage and serious pain deep in-​between my shoulder blade, affecting my arm. This was making it really difficult to do my work thus threatening my job security in the digital arts and teaching profession.
Some suggested pain killers and even surgery. None of which felt right to pursue. I wanted a solution that would be long lasting and one that targeted the source of the problem, not one that just focused on mediating the symptoms.
A friend introduced me to Dr. Song. I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into but I heard a lot of good work being done in the area of Asian medicine, and I trust my friend. Although the treatments look extreme, I have always believed in the philosophy of «no pain no gain». You have to either mentally or physically work for something. Thanks to Dr. Song expert treatment I am healed … and no, it was not as painful as it looks.

For someone that sculpts superheroes among other things, I have not really paid enough attention to my body. I work 10 – 20 hour days, and that ended up putting too much strain on my back and neck. One day 2 years ago, I just woke up with a stiff neck, I could not really move my neck without experiencing severe and acute pain. I searched on the internet looking for a good «deep tissue/​doctor» and I found Doctor Song… wow! he immediately got rid of the pain.

Dr. song is the best. I went to him with migraine headaches and a couple of visits later ia was cured. I highly recommend Dr. song.

Dr. Jun Song is incredible.
I woke up one day and I struggled out of bed. I didn’t know what happened to me. I was living in pain for about a month. My grades dropped, I was stranded at home, bed ridden, and my physical fitness was severely affected.
I finally asked my sister how she fixed her back pain, she said: Dr. Jason fixed me. Turns out Dr. Jun Song had saved her from going under the knife; he also fixed my brother.
So, I go in for my first visit and I felt immediate relief. I go again and the next day, I woke up like a new man, there was no pain. I was pain free for about 10 months just from two visits.
Fast forward to March of this year, I was doing Insanity (the DVD workout program) and BOOM, I jacked up my back again. So, like an idiot, I went to a chiropractor. I thought since I was out of alignment, that I should go to a chiropractor. I went for about a month and it got better, then it got worse.
So, I finally conquered my fear of Dr. Jun Song’s needle and went back. After two appointments, I was able to go to three month Army schools and training. So, now I’m back from training and continuing treatment like he recommends instead of
coming and going.
The needles aren’t that painful for me, instead I would describe it as discomfort. It’s so worth it and it’s amazing what he can do in a couple of treatments. Dr. Jun Song saved my sister after years of intense back pain; he cured my brothers bruises from a ATV accident, fixed his shoulder from weight lifting; and he fixed my back (I had a three inch rotation in my hips) he fixed that too.
