We just completed two very complicated mortgage with fp mortgage with Wayne and team. The company is very professional and yet personal in handling the loan and all the questions we have. The loan was as promised with no fee and points, it may take a while to satisfy all the needs of the loan, but that was fairly typical of loans. Overall a good experience and the escrow company they worked with is also very pleasant. This is the first time we have worked with them and we would recommend them.

Refinanced with this company earlier in the year when rates were low. Wayne first offered a rate with no closing cost & no fee. He said no cost & fee is standard for refinancing with them. He also said they would be able to close in 3 weeks. I checked with other loan agent & was offered a lower rate, but since I already gave him some of my documents & would rather stay with them, I asked if he could offer the same rate. He said he can so we proceeded with the loan process. After couple weeks of no communication, they finally contacted us asking for additional documents and said they need to close that week. It was probably my own fault that I never asked for a good faith estimate. We didn’t know until we were going to sign the escrow papers that we were being charge $ 1000 of closing fee. at that point we just wanted to get it over with so we signed. Had I known I would’ve gone with another agent.
