William Adams Pool Covers

I had an extremely positive experience with Bill Adams and his helper today. They fixed my pool cover which was off on one side. They were fast and knowledgeable. A previous company had done a hack fix by cutting off a corner of my cover! I got the impression Bill would have never done that. The cover works great now. Very nice people, very reasonable price. This is their busy season, so you can’t get them instantly, but they do come out. A really wonderful experience. Very gentlemanly men too.

When I was finally able to get these guys on the phone (after 3 months of trying) they were able to come out and do an «adjustment» on my cover after nearly 2K dollars of work was put into changing out the lines, the fabric and the magnets. It took 6 months to do the adjustments and they never really fixed the problem. By the end of the summer, the pool cover had come off the tracks and started to separate from the wall. This lack of responsiveness made me not only have to spend money on more chemicals, more heat, and more water for the pool, but it also made my pool unsafe for a number of months. If it was simply fixed the first time, none of this would have been an issue. In their defense, the owner and his team are vastly under staffed and very much over booked. I would have liked to stay with this locally owned business but their lack of response makes it very hard.

I needed to replace the fabric on my automatic pool cover. I was not happy with the company (Pool Covers Inc) who replace it the previous time because they left a 30 foot crease in the fabric which became a magnet for debris and cause early failure of the fabric. After a lot of checking I found this company and I am so glad I did. They are the real deal. They delivered everything they promised, for the price they promised, and I am really happy with the quality of the fabric from Coverstar. It is much better than our previous cover.
When they came to do the install it was garbage pickup day, they brought in my garbage cans before they started work, just because they are nice. They left everything clean, too. No drama no fuss!
I saw the same two guys for the quote and the work. And if you cannot tell I really liked them.
