Will Wag For Walks is devoted to understanding and serving the needs of our busy clients. We know that owners need to work and have time in their life, meanwhile dogs need to walk and run and play — this lifestyle does not need to be mutually exclusive.

If you’re searching for a dog walker or pet sitter in Walnut Creek, you’ve come to the right place. Will Wag For Walks offers daily mid-​day dog walks to help keep your furry friend busy during your long workday. Pet sitting is also available for days or weeks at a time. Please inquire at least 2 weeks in advance for pet sitting.

Private Dog Training is offered in many East Bay cities including: Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Concord, Clayton, Martinez, Alamo and Danville. Meet with our trainer in your home to discuss your concerns, then set a personalized training plan to reach your goals.

Business Owner

Having cats and dogs all my life has taught me that some of the most important things in life come in small, furry packages. I set out on this journey to pursue my passion for animals, to bring the best out of our furry family members and to make the most of everyday.

You’ll often find me spending my free time volunteering at Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF), socializing the cats or walking the dogs, or working at community events supporting ARFs cause.

I am a graduate of the dog*tec Dog Walking Academy, certified in Pet First Aid and Pet CPR, as well as licensed, bonded and insured — so you can rest assured that you and your pets are being well looked after.

Jacquie is AMAZING! We absolutely love that we found her!
She has been waking our dog Chase for almost a year now and she is just the best! She has great communication and I’m always excited to read her little reports of how the walk went.
Chase is so full of energy and I was a bit worried in the beginning that she would be too much for Jacquie. But to my surprise Jacquie was able to handle her so well. It is just so amazing to see Jacquie walking with the Pack and Chase mingled in on her best behavior.
We are truly lucky and grateful to have Jacquie! Definitely 5 stars in our book!

Will Wag for Walks is an exceptional dog walking and pet training organization run by an extraordinarily passionate and professional business owner. As proud owners of two Boxers, we knew that they would require a lot of attention and exercise. Our highly energetic, intelligent, loving but also mischievous duo needed a professional that could handle their characters, yet appreciate the extra attention that they often demand. Jacquie and her team do just that. Our dogs are delighted when they pick them up and tired when they drop them off at home… exactly what they need. We would recommend Will Wag for Walks to anyone and would not change them for anything!

Wag for Walks is an absolute find for my needs. I use Jaquie’s walking services inconsistently, as I mostly work from my main home in Santa Cruz. I keep an apartment near my company’s office in Walnut Creek. When I am working in the area, Jacquie is amazing with my dog Skittles (name came with the dog, no judgement). You can tell she is passionate about animals and loves her job. What I was most impressed with is her attention to detail. Specifically, I asked that meds be administered at specific times (she had to visit twice a day) and I know that she did. A friend stopped by to grab some forgotten paperwork to fax me, and I asked him to check on the dogs pills– the appropriate pills were administered at the time they should have been. Trustworthy, upbeat, and unbelievably professional, I can give her a 100% endorsement (so can Skittles). It makes me feel much better working long days when I can count on her services to keep my dog safe and happy.

Jacquie is an absolute asset to any pet friendly household. My wife and I went on vacation recently and were in dire need of a solid, responsible pet sitter. We have a small cat and she can be very skittish. To say it takes a while for her to warm up to new people is putting it mildly. Before we met, Jacquie came over and met us both as well as our cat. Not only were we comfortable with her, it seemed our cat was as well. Jacquie came by once a day for the week. She is extremely well organized and keeps detailed notes of each visit. She stayed with her a while, fed, played with her and gave her attention. We came back and usually she is very needy and craving attention, not the case this time. Please consider Will Wag For Wags for your pet care needs as my wife and I officially have a pet sitter.

Jacquie is fantastic. We were in over our heads with a puppy and a new baby. She was great with our pup. Giving him the extra love and attention he needed as we were trying to settle into our new roles as parents. She helped continue the work we were doing with him with training and even got him trained for off-​lease hikes. Peyton would sit by the door just waiting for her. I would recommend Will Wag for Walks to anyone!

Hiring Jacquie was one of the best decisions I ever made for my dog. In addition to being knowledgeable about dog behavior, proper handling techniques, and positive training, she is very patient and accommodating with her canine and human clients alike. As the parent of a shy dog, I had concerns about hiring a dog walker, but Jacquie shattered all of those fears very quickly: now my dog is overwhelmed with joy every time Jacquie picks her up for a pack walk!

Jacqui has taken such good care of my golden retriever for the past few months. She walks her 2x a week. With her help, Ella is walking better and pulling less on her leash and is less afraid of riding in the car. I really appreciate her updates and photos describing how much fun my dog is having too. Finally, she has been really flexible when schedule changes come up.

Jacquie walked our dog for a month while our regular Dog Nanny was on vacation. Our girl is old (er) and has a lot of special needs.
Jacquie was not only very conscientious about taking fasitidious care of our girl, but she carefully noted each special request and handled them all well. [Our girl can’t stand the heat — Jacquie came in the morning. Our girl can’t jump — Jacquie carried her into the vehicle. Our girl can’t really jump down — Jacquie let her ride in the cab so she can walk in and out. Our girl has food allergies — no treats.] You might think that’s a lot of annoyance for a short term gig — Jacquie was great about all of it.
Last, but hardly least — our girl is an excellent judge of character, and she absolutely adores Jacquie.
You can’t go wrong trusting Jacquie to care for this furry member of your family.
