These are not not honest business people. We cancelled our order after 2 cancelled installation dates and the $ 450 refund check they gave us was returned Non Sufficient Funds. I will continue until I get my money back.
They are not answering my calls and a sign on the shop door says they are moving to another location. Do not do business with these people.

I am sorry I purchased from this company. They are completely incompetent. I ordered and paid for a new kitchen floor quite a while ago. The sales department did a fine job, however the man who schedules the installations is NEVER available. I have called him 5 times in the last two weeks to get status as to when my floor will be installed and he never answers the phone and has yet to return my messages. My next step is the Better Business Bureau. Heed my warning and save yourself the hassle, go elsewhere.

We had a carpet installed by Carpet One and it has been an nightmarish experience.
The carpet started coming undone at the seems all throughout the house after just a couple of days. Literally like it was coming apart.
I have called them repeatedly to come fix it and the first time I was told ‚“We’ll get back to you in a couple of days”. Since then, no matter how many times I call, I GET NO ANSWER.
It has been months and the carpet is coming undone all throughout the house.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CARPET ONE!

I had an unexpected ice maker leak about a month ago and were was so panic-​ed watching our hardwood floors getting ruined by the second. Luckily I have home owners insurgence with State Farm who referred us to Carpet One in Walnut Creek because we live in San Ramon.
My first impression was their large show room. I was debating tile in my kitchen with all the possibilities however they had a good sense of leading me in a direction that suited my household because I don’t have much knowledge in the field of flooring. I had no troubles choosing a new floor for my kitchen and dinning room. I ended up choosing a beautiful Brazilian Cherrytone hardwood Carpet one showed me, even though it was a small insurance upgrade it was much worth the decent up charge.
I read their reviews before the installation and the reviews were quite mixed so I wasn’t too sure what to expect. However I encountered no problems, they finished on time and we very polite at the showroom at my home. I’m more than pleased with the new look in my kitchen.
Both my insurance and Walnut Creek Carpet One did a great job of turning my nightmare of a water leek into a situation that was handled much easier than planned.

We simply love the carpet! Sue was really helpful when we had to select the right carpet for our home. We were somewhat overwhelmed by the vast variety of carpet to select from, but Sue asked us some questions which helped her shortlist the carpet selections for us and made it so much easier. The installation was easy and hassle-​free. Their installers moved some heavy furniture out of the way with no complaints. In short, they did a FANTASTIC job. We’re just really happy with everything!

I cannot speak for the other two as my own experience was beyond satisfactory. Being in upper management myself I tend to want to work with the same. In this case the owner Shelly L was most gracious and not only did a fine job but gave me a price I could not refuse. I purchased both vinyl and carpeting and both arrived actually ahead of my deadline. The installation went extremely well with JUST ENOUGH of both to complete the job. What impressed me the most was I had to move in before I could order the carpets due to other issues and no fault of Carpet 1. The installers never even whimpered when they moved all the boxes and furniture out of their was and when done with their installation moved it all back as they found it, including the washer and dryer. I guess what impressed me more was the ironclad guarantee not only of the installation but more importantly the product itself meaning a free replacement by the manufacturer if for any reason it fails. It has not and a happy ending for me.

A quick update to this review. I happy to report that Carpet One has since corrected the issues (at no cost to us) that were created at the original install. They did a nice job fixing everything and I am happy with the end result.

Did I mention the amazing tile I got for around my fireplace? I loved my experience at Carpet One so much that my neighbors also got carpet from them too!
