Walnut Avenue Community Christian Pre-School

We have been at this preschool for 4 years (2 kids) and am so thankful we found this neighborhood gem. The school is loving, fun and consistent. One of my favorite parts of the school is the playground. It is shaded and perfect for the kids to play and explore all year round. I appreciate the dedication of the staff and their loving and nurturing personalities. Streeta (the director) is very accomodating to customize schedules that will work for your family. They provide early drop-​off, lunch bunch and late pick-​up that can all be added on as needed, which is something that is so helpful. An added bonus is their special holiday parties, celebrations, performances and Spring Carnival. My favorite is the Easter party where the kids have an egg hunt, face painting, pictures with the bunny and other games that all take place outside. I feel blessed that Walnut Avenue was a part of my children’s lives. I always tell people, this is where I would want to be if I was a kid.

This is the third year my son has gone to WACCP and it’s the best yet. I’ve always been impressed by the kindness and attentiveness of the teachers, but the JK program is beyond excellent. Mrs. Nishioka is phenomenal! My son is annoyed when he doesn’t get to go to school on the weekends. Yes. Annoyed. I love it!
Streeta is the director and really runs a smooth program. She is always quick to respond and very helpful. She’s quite funny, too, which is always welcome!
My oldest went to two other preschools/​pre-​kindergarden and I wish I had known about WACCP back then. She does the summer camps occasionally and really enjoys them.
I definitely recommend this school. Oh, the drop off and pick up? Worth the price of admission. ;)

I looked all over WC and Concord for a fun, accessible, reasonably priced preschool for my son. My sister went here about 23 years ago and it’s still great. The outside play area is large and can accommodate all the ages. I’ve found the teachers very caring and helpful, especially when my son had a hard time being dropped off. Overall I’ve been really pleased with our experience here.

Great preschool! It has a big shaded backyard with children playground. The teachers are very caring and loving. The atmosphere is home like which is important for children!
They teach children how to write a little, how to hold a pen. They teach about animals, about four different seasons, night and day and so on.
They sing songs together and read books. They teach kids to be patient and polite.
Very flexible schedule and good prices!
