Tara came to me by recommendation from a friend to do my makeup for my wedding. I had planned to do my own makeup for my wedding, feeling pretty confident about my own makeup skills and having done makeup for brides and bridal parties in the past. I had also gone to countless makeup counters and trials the months prior to my wedding and each time left feeling less than satisfied.
At the urging of friends to relieve the stress of doing it myself and to enjoy being pampered on my ‘big day’, I decided to reach out to Tara to discuss. She spent so much time with me going over my likes and dislikes and any visions I had for myself on the day. She recommended specific face care for the week before to make sure my skin was at its best and we talked about different looks, colors, and products. I really appreciated all the time she took with me upfront. After that, and checking out her website and reading all her amazing reviews, I was convinced I was making the right decision.
Sure enough, on the day, Tara came through in spades! I have never looked so polished and pretty! Her talent is extraordinary– she is an artist in the truest sense of the word. She asked me if there was anything I would like to change and I looked long and hard to find any fault with her work or for something to alter… there was nothing to change; it was perfection! She was timely, too, which is appreciated on such a chaotic day. My husband had one of those «OMG» moments when he saw me for the first time and said to me — at the altar– that I had never looked more beautiful! Priceless. What better reaction could a girl ask for on her wedding day?!!

Tara was recommended to me by my hairstylist. The girls in the salon have worked with her and loved her. For my trial I literally had no idea what I wanted except that I like to play up my eyes… with very little direction Tara did an amazing job and I loved the way I looked.
Tara did the makeup for my bridesmaids and me on the day of my wedding. She was also able to do the makeup for my mother and a few close family friends because she had extra time at the end. Everyone looked amazing (she even took us all outside to make sure everyone’s makeup would look perfect for our outdoor pictures). She also did lipstick touch ups at the very end so everyone was picture perfect. Tara is extremely professional and organized and I felt totally confident that everyone would look amazing and be ready on time.
At my trial Tara offered to pick up a lipstick and powder to use on the day of my wedding. She did and it was so nice to not have to worry about any makeup for the big day. The makeup lasted all day (as Tara promised) and looked amazing. I highly recommend Tara and I am sure I will use her services again in the future.

Tara did my make up for my wedding, as well as several of my bridesmaids. She managed her time very well and everyone looked fabulous! I really think I’ve never looked better and felt so beautiful for my big day. She is also really easy to talk to and great about understanding what I wanted. I would definitely recommend her for any event!

Tara did my makeup for my wedding. She arrived on time, set up quickly and kept me calm even with all the chaos added from my family, plus made me look AMAZING! She transformed me and in a good way. Tara gave me the exact look I wanted! She is truly talented. She gave me the Dewey look which was perfect. My husband smashed the cake in my face/​eye and after cleaning it all off my makeup still looked gorgeous! I received compliments all day and night about my makeup. If I ever need my makeup done again Tara is who I will be calling.

Tara has done my make-​up 3 times now. My first visit was spent picking new colors and learning new techniques. I really needed a change and Tara exposed me to colors I hadnt tried before (that looked great on) and showed me a few quick and easy ways to spice up my daily routine. Since then Tara has done my make-​up for a wedding and most recently make-​up AND hair for Valentine’s Day. I received so many compliments at wedding and the make-​up looked amazing in all the photos! My boyfriend’s response on Valentine’s day «You look gorgeous» says it all! My hair even looked good the next day. Tara is extremely professional, punctual and listens to what her clients really want. I highly recommend her for your make-​up (and hair) needs!

I was referred to Tara through my hair salon in Walnut Creek when I was getting professional family photos. Tara has such a positive attitude and works with ease and professionalism. She has a huge arsenal of excellent product lines like MAC and although I brought my own, false eyelashes are included in her price. I will definitely call Tara again when I need another special look!

Tara did the makeup for myself and my bridesmaids for my wedding. She did an excellent job and was very easy to work with. We all looked great– both in person and in photographs. I think it can sometimes be difficult find that balance because what photographs well can often be too much in person but she did it well. I would highly recommend her!

Tara has done my make-​up over the years for various events, from Halloween, a night out to weddings.
She recreated the subtle beauty of Lilu in the 5^th Element, complete with tiny red glittery cuts. She helped me to create the beauty and toughness of the character for that Halloween.
Any night out where Tara has done my make-​up she managed to capture the mood of the evening and my personality with amazing accuracy. I always feel comfortable and never worry about how long it will last, for the make-​up always last as long as I do out on the town.
On multiple occasions she has done my make-​up for weddings. Even though I was just a guest at these weddings Tara made my make-​up understated yet elegant to where I felt beautiful among the guests.
I highly recommend her for any event, she has an amazing versatility for any occasion and she always make sure you feel beautiful and comfortable in the make-​up. She is very professional, very punctual and puts your happiness and comfort level first.

Tara did the make-​up for both my engagement pictures and my wedding, and did a fantastic job!
At my wedding, she did the make-​up for not only myself, but for my wedding party, my mom and my mother in law. She was incredibly professional throughout the whole day and made me feel totally at ease. On top of that everyone looked great!

Tara is simply amazing! She takes what she does very seriously. She was the sole artist for my best friend’s wedding, where two ladies unexpectedly requested to have their makeup done. She didn’t panic one bit. She actually finished with time to spare.
What impressed me most about Tara was how she performed the trial. She took pictures with two different styles to compare and contrast. I didn’t think about how the camera required darker makeup in order to adequately accentuate features. Long story short, it eased my friend, and she looked gorgeous, in pictures and in person. For me, I had no idea what type of look I was going for. She took charge, and worked her magic. I’m glad she did! The makeup was comfortable, and I felt beautiful! And what’s best of all is NONE of us had to get touched up. We danced the night away without a care in the world. I recommend Tara for any special occasion. She will not disappoint.

Tara has done my makeup along with a few of my cousins for various events. We all have different features but she managed to make us ALL look gorgeous and still kept us looking natural… none of the caked on makeup look. I felt like a glamor queen (minus the cheesy 80“s look) when we used her services, and i loved the going out after she did my make up!
