The great thing about this place is that they’re open early; earlier than nearby competition. The bagels are fresh though the menu selection isn’t. I do very much like their smears though, especially the strawberry.

Bought a half dozen bagels and at the cash register I noticed a jar with tiny doggie bagels. Like the free cookies they give away at Petco. These bagels are old, stale and hard as a rock, I took two thinking they’d be next to nothing — NOT they charge 1.19 for each. Are you kidding, what a rip! The 6 large bagels cost 6.49 and the two old stale mini bagels are 2.38 – no thank you! They should give them away to their customers or charge very little. Put a sign on them so that people know how much they cost.

I was pretty excited to try Noah’s bagels based off of recommendation. Well, my very first experience was ruined by cashier/employee DARIUS. We were unfamiliar with the menu and we received plenty of attitude and eye rolling to go with our bagels. It wasn’t even busy, so couldn’t understand his frustration. Needless to say, I will never return to a place that treats their customers with such disrespect. AND there was a fly flying around in the bagel case, just FYI.

This was the worst noal’s bagel I have been to. My cousin and I ordered the bagel box and was trying to select our bagels but the woman seemed to either have terrible hearing or just ignore us. Since it was thanksgiving, they also had a pastry box included and we tried to select the pastries as well. But it never worked out. The lady kept referring to the advertisement to see which pastries to put. The only reason for a two star instead of one is the honey almond smear.

Came in today for a late lunch. I forgot how dirty this place is with flies all over. But today the most unsavory thing was when the woman behind the counter named Michelle said she was«retarded» to a customer after messing something up. The customer chuckled which made it even worse. As a parent of a child with a disability, I just lost my appetite for ever coming back to this location again.

So I have only been here a handful of times, but I have always liked Noah’s bagels better than any others in town. But I am mostly inspired to write this review because of a fabulous cashier named Kelly. When I first got there today, the line was ridiculously long and I almost turned around and left but I was really craving a lox cream cheese bagel sandwich so I stayed. The line went much quicker than I expected. As I approached the cashier I noticed that she pointed out to the customer in front of me that he had gotten a little tub of low fat cream cheese and asked him if that is what he meant to pick up out of the refrigerator. Apparently many people make the same mistake since the regular and lowfat are packaged very similar. He was very appreciative and said it would have been a big bummer once he had gotten home and realized. When I got up to her I inquired which were the freshest snickerdoodle cookies since we wouldn’t be eating them until tomorrow on a road trip. She told me which were the freshest and then asked me to hold on, and went and got some cookies that just came out of the oven this morning. She did this all quickly as not to hold up the long line behind me. Another employee, who was obviously new, came up to her to ask her a question and she quickly answered her with a smile and then took the time to tell her what a great job she was doing. Needless to say, in this day and age, customer service is not always what it used to be, especially when busy. So I have to give big kudos this gal. Every business owner should have a «Kelly» working for them! Oh and the bagel was amazing. Toasted perfectly. Super fresh crisp veggies on it. No complaints here.

Ever since I moved to west coast, I have been dreaming about my delicious New York Bagels. They are usually so big, cheap and so good. So far, I have been quite disappointed by the bagels here. I heard from other east coast friends that Noah is pretty much the one that shows some resemblance to the quality of New York Bagels. Therefore, I was here to give it a test bite. I had their Cinnamon Raisin bagel and Chocolate Chip Bagel. They are smaller and more expensive at $ 1.25 a piece. The texture is not exactly bagel but more in between bread and bagel. I am disappointed but I do like their customer service, their variety and their delicious cream cheese spread. This would be my temporary fix until I can get my hand on my NYC bagels and lox in the future!

Previous visit earlier this week they got my order wrong and i was going to let it go without comment. But with today’s experience it needs to be mentioned. Warning — don’t ask for your bagels sliced. They took a couple of random hacks at the bagels. Made them near impossible to place in a toaster at home unless in random pieces. not a big deal you might say — but come on. 2 things you would want from a bagel shop — fresh bagels, sliced.

We went there on a Sunday around noon. Line was long and it appeared that the ordering end was the cause. Cashier had her game on though. I rated it low because here it was Sunday, the busiest day of the week, and almost all bagel bins were empty! Also no new ones ever came out the whole 30 minutes we were there! So my wife’s 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices were all out! When it was my turn, I found it easier to ask… well, what do you have to sell? Then l she said um, and looked all through bins and named off a few. No apology ever for the lack of choices.

I was here this past week. The people were very friendly. However, I was really disappointed in the selection of bagels(especially coming for Long Island). I wasted a bagel with egg salad. They don’t have any egg salad. It’s not on the menu. How can a bagel place not have egg salad? The lady behind the counter offered to make me fresh egg salad just for me, but had to boil the eggs first. It was very sweet of her, but I didn’t have time to wait. I ended up getting flavored cream cheese in a ‘to go’ container and two egg bread rolls to go. The rolls were good, but I didn’t get what I came in to get. Please think about expanding your menu. :)

My family stopped into Noah’s Bagels before our road trip to Lake Tahoe and we loaded up on lunch. They have every type of bagel and spread imaginable and a number of sandwich options. I was happy with my basic but tasty turkey sandwich on a bagel. I made quite a few modifications to one of their existing sandwiches and my order was totally correct. There is plenty of seating inside and some outside tables as well, though we took our sammies to go. The bagel held up to all its ingredients and got me through the long car ride in the crowded backseat of my dad’s rental car.

my family and i have been a regular customer of noah’s bagle in walnut creek, ca. even when i was still a recruiter in the navy, i oftentimes swing by and order their famous sandwiches, bagels and coffee. this morning, my wife and i decided to go there and have breakfast. when the brunette cashier asked us if were ready, i told her to please give us a minute. when we finally decided what to order, i told her that we want two nova lox sandwiches and two coffee for dine-in. my wife also reminded me to order some bagels and salmon spread for take out. then i told the cashier that we want four blueberry bagels(i was pointing to the bottom shelf) and two of those on the upper shelf called spinach bagel or something for take out. after looking at the spinach bagle i was referring to, she told us that those in the upper shelves have a different price and are more«expensive» and the look on her face is sort of asking me if i am sure i want to buy it, or can i afford it? …at the back of my mind, i was like«are you serious?» hmm, is that a standard question they ask for asians or other non-white customers? well, im filipino-american but i am sure i heard her right and as a man with decent education and decent paying federal job, I know that to be polite and courteous in this situation is the best approach. if my intellect is as mediocre as hers, i could have told her that«if the spinach bagel sounds expensive to you, then i can buy some for you because it seems that with your hourly rate as a cashier, you can’t really afford it» but thats not the right thing to do. in closing i would say that, there are only three kinds of people in this world, the good, the bad, and the ignorant. the last one are pretty much those who creates cultural misunderstanding and needs further schooling,

Nice fresh bagels. Really yummy seasonal strawberry lemonade. A little pricy for a bagel and cream cheese, buy hey, they have to make money somehow!

I have not reviewed this place, even though we have visited her often over the past several years we have limited our visits because of the staff who clearly are unhappy to work here. I would agree in the past it really felt like the people working here just didn’t like working her. I often got the same look and attitude I would get when asking my teenager to go outside and help pull weeds in the yard. However, my recent visit was super pleasant! I was greeted by someone named Megan! Not only was she upbeat and friendly, but it was obvious she was sharing that energy with coworkers who I am used to seeing in a «different» light. Thank you Megan for being so upbeat and welcoming!

I just left Noah’s no more than 2 minutes ago and had to write a review on my service today… it wasn’t much :) young man took my order and even made it for me after telling him I’ve gotten my Southwest Turkey Sausage bagel sandwich wrong the last 3 times I’ve ordered it. super nice about making it and I double checked before I took off and it’s the right sandwich :) totally happy!!! I work out in San Ramon and once I get to work the last 3 times my order has always been wrong. Not sure if it’s because it’s always so packed in the early morning but today it wasn’t and well I’m happy :))

My second Noah’s review at a second location. Perhaps I shouldn’t have assumed that trying another location would yield a better result. I just don’t understand how difficult it is to get two ingredients on a bagel. 0 for 2 orders correct today. The first didn’t have shmear– how do you forget shmear? And the second– a turkey sausage bagel sandwich didn’t have sausage. I will say that the order taker and the manager I just spoke with were both very pleasant. So I know there is competence there… I just wish it would transfer to the prep line. And I REALLY wish Corporate would take notice and try and improve.

Very happy with this Noah’s Bagels location! First we got coffees across the way at Starbucks and then got in the giant ordering line for food at Noah’s. The line moved quickly and there were plenty of available tables to sit. Food was fresh, fast and delicious. For the first time at a Noah’s I didn’t order a bagel. I know, crazy! I got the Spinach, bacon, egg and Swiss Panini breakfast sandwich and it was so good! It was on a really tasty ciabatta roll that was nice and tender, not hard and dry. Great way to start off the day!

If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be bagels. Preferably from Noah’s Bagels. I just want to sleep in the kitchen and bask in the aroma of bagels being baked. Mmmmmmmm. Nom nom nom nom nom. There are regular bagels. Thin bagels. Bagel sandwiches. Full fat cream cheese. Reduced fat cream cheese. Blueberry cream cheese. Honey almond cream cheese. It’s like Charlie’s chocolate factory, but with bagels.

Back in my earlier greater Berkeley Days, Noah Alper ran a small neighborhood(and sometimes Kosher) bagel chain, before he cashed out and the much larger chain became part of the Einstein Noah Restaurant Group. I stopped in at the Walnut Creek Noah’s for Lunch(To Go) today and confirmed that there’s not much Yiddishkeit left to this place, despite the Challah only available on Fridays schtick. My service was a bit rude, and not in a good New York way. My sandwich also took longer than it should have to come out. It was certainly tasty, but not worth a repeat stop unless I happen to be in this shopping area anyway.

While I was pregnant all I craved around lunch was usually big meat sandwiches. If you didn’t know, Noah’s makes some fairly good meaty sandwiches. I ordered the Pastrami Reuben and a Frozen Strawberry Lemonade. I always recommend coming in after lunch time so that it’s not crazy busy. I was greeted right away by a very nice employee. Who took my order while I took a seat I wait for my order. This location is huge. It’s the biggest Noah’s I’ve very been in. You could definitely have a comfortable group meeting here. My sandwich was ok. I think I’d rather go to a regular deli. My Strawberry Lemonade was sooooo sweet. I honestly couldn’t finish it. I swear I could feel the sugar dissolving my teeth. Service is good and if and when I’m back in the area and my tummy is growling, I certainly won’t turn my nose up at a sandwich from here.
