Awesome environment. Louie makes it fun, always a good time and the food especially breakfast is good. Will be back again and again.

Bad attitude from everyone. Guy couldn’t make a sex on the beach. Used triple sec instead of peach schnapps. Their excuse? «Mr Luckys is a whiskey bar.» Lol yeah, you’re a joke and give me no reason to come back, which I’m sure you don’t care about because you get all the newly 21 year olds who will drink your«old fashioned.» My balls are bigger than yours. Take care, good luck, and enjoy.

Had a great time at Mr. Lucky’s on St. Patty’s Day! The crew there manages to find the savvy balance between neighborhood casual and party atmosphere… They help a rowdy crowd turn it up yet hold it together — and that my friend is a delicate dance… Service is prompt, personable and genuine … Nicely done neighbors — will be back.!!

Used to love coming here and decided to stop by on St. Paddy’s Day. Was wearing an A’s jersey, and they said nobody with jerseys was allowed in. WHAT A JOKE. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve come here after games and seen players from the A’s in here, yet now people wearing their gear aren’t welcome? Way to represent, dumbasses! Aside from that, YOU’RE A FUCKINGDIVEBAR. People come to places like this to not deal with arbitrary, bullshit dress codes. You even have pics up on your Unilocal page of a Warriors after party with people in their dubs gear! Stop trying to be something you’re not.

Place is good for lunch or if you want to watch the games. It has a good diverse crowd which is nice. This place wouldn’t be considered ‘upscale’ as most of the bars in the area so a heads up there. Otherwise I have no complaints. Staff seems to be cool too. I come here when I want to be lowkey versus turning up.

Always been a fan of Mr. Lucky’s and have been going here for year. Sure it’s a dive bar that’s been over run by the fresh young drinkers in the area but there’s still room for us older cats who want to go out and not have to pay a cover at some terrible Walnut Creek bar. They finally remodeled the floor and took out the space taking island in the middle so there’s more room to move about. Always love to people watch here and the bartenders are always great considering how much shit they have to deal with on a nightly basis. Also, I’ve had breakfast here a couple times and the food is surprisingly good but I’m also usually hung over so that might be it. Or it’s just a great cure. It’s a shame you can’t pass out in the booths then wake up to eggs and bacon. Easier way to deal with the WC cops!

I found Mr. Lucky’s only gets busy after 10:30pm. Seems like its everyone’s last stop for the night. Its a pretty decent place. Cheap beers, wall to wall people, and usually a few bar fights. There’s usually a few hot guys there too, but of course some are creepers. If you don’t want to wait in line to get in, just slip the bouncer some cash and you can walk right in.

Luckys Is usually our last stop after a night of bar hopping downtown Walnut Creek. The lines are usually long around 1030p-11p. The place itself is pretty small, but I’m not rating this place for the lack of space or customer service that we may experience at times. I am rating this place 4 stars because we frequent this place so much and have a ball every time! It’s understandable since the place is packed to the brim at times with drunken people. We call this place home because so many good(or forgotten) memories here. CJ is pretty cool also. If you’re looking for a good place to grab drinks with your friends or end your night out and mingle/meet people, come to Lucky’s! EDIT* Dan’s is down the street. Lol

Me and my friend decided to go here on a Sunday night to meet up with some friends for drinks. Get there around 9ish and there seems to be a decent amount of people. We met some new friends, and it seemed like this place is where people go to get fucked up all day long. The bartenders seemed decent, but I stepped outside to answer a phone call because it was so loud inside and when I tried to go back in the door security basically pushed me outside. I told him I was already inside and my purse was in there so I didn’t have my ID. It was so annoying but whatever. At the end he was cool but still. I’d probably come back here on a weekend since I heard it is a great spot and usually packed. Good area. Found parking but again that was on a Sunday.

One of the best bars in Walnut Creek. The bartenders are always happy, easy going and delightfully attending. The prices are right, the crowd is pleasant and newly remodeled spot is perfect for a drink with your friends on any given night. Thank you.

Super divey bar good for after hours drinks once other WC restaurants and bars have closed for the night. Reasonably priced drinks. Clientele ranges from 21 – 51 depending on the night.

PSA: Delayed review from 9⁄25 This was out 3rd and final stop, keep in mind we had two pitchers of mojitos at out first stop, I am not sure how many glasses of vino at our second, and here I started with a class of cab, but sent it back and opted for a Stella. Well, a cold Stella is a cold Stella so it was good. So was the music, a good mixture of tolerable beats. Welp, that is all I remember, at least its good memories. Sure, I’ll go back mon.

Rude bouncers. Unprofessional staff ruined what should have been a good night. We waited outside for about 30 minutes behind some jerks that should have been told to go somewhere else. Instead they made us all wait until 1:15 and then told everyone that they were closing. The doorman didn’t have the courage to tell these guys to take their childish behavior somewhere else so everyone that was waiting was punished. We wasted a good night in the line at their stupid bar. I will never come to walnut creek again for drinks.

This place sucks… stinky midgets everywhere. The speaker was blown in the back and the music sounded terrible. The smell coming from the kitchen area could be compared to that of a rat cage. Terrible experience!!! Can’t believe people wait in line to get in this place.

I love Mr Lucky’s, it’s by far my favorite bar in Walnut Creek. They’re open nice and late and have clean bathrooms(compared to the other bars in town). Weekends get pretty loud and crowded, but they don’t charge a cover which is nice.

Totally your normal dive bar. Seen one. Seen them all. Smelled like urine when we walked inside, though… Not too great… Kind of on the expensive side for a dive bar, but it’s walnut creek after all, so I guess I can’t fault them for that. Was empty when we got there around 9:00, but filled up with people shortly thereafter.

Small fun little dive bar been here a few times, ITs not the biggest place so when it does get packed and busy you can have a hard time moving around Has a few TVs to catch the sport games. Nice place to come to with friends to grab a drink. I never been here day time but seems like a chill place to come see a basketball or baseball game Ended up coming here with a small group of people and not so busy night. Beware of the weekend lines. Was at a couple other bars and restaurants tonight ended up coming here near the end of night for a few drinks . Had good service and got the drinks fast and easy no wait or lines.

Best dive bar in the area. No frills, no hipsters, no techies, however there is a somewhat of a mixed crowd, depending on the night. It gets a little too busy for me on weekends. Cool bartenders and staff, not rude like at other bars. I like coming here to watch sports, it’s usually not as busy since it’s not a sports bar. It’s nice to have a bar like this in Downtown WC:)

Been in here lots of times for drinks and once for lunch. I wouldn’t wait in line to come in, but there usually aren’t lines anywhere during 5:00 happy hour and that’s when I prefer to do my social drinking. Ultimately I’m to the point that i’d rather make my own drinks at home. At least there I can overly garnish my Bloody Mary, rather than sit and stare at a lonely olive in disappointment. I like the drinks here — service is generally good. There are several booths for sitting, an island that stretches the length of the bar, and then the bar itself. There’s also a nook at the front with seating and standing room. I was invited to a Happy Hour hosted by Certified Reporting Services and this was the perfect spot for us. The appetizers at that party were all really good. We enjoyed the poppers a lot. So I guess I knew they had a menu, but I had never really looked at it until the other day. I had wandered Walnut Creek trying to find a spot for lunch, and ended up here. Lunch was kind of a hiccup — they were very busy and I felt like it took a while to get my menu, but maybe I was just being hungry and impatient. The food came out fast. I ordered an Italian Chopped Salad. They forgot the salame on it, but it had plenty of tuna and I prefered the tuna anyhow. I did get my iced tea comped for the error though. It was pretty good. The dressing was great and it was not ovredressed, but it seemed like a lettuce and tuna salad more than«Italian». Maybe it had ONE peppercini chopped into it? And a little bit of olive I think??? It was kind of boring. Perhaps I’ll request more toppings next time. They don’t take Discover cards. :(
