We provide a full range of management services for residential and commercial common interest developments which are commonly known as homeowners associations, HOAs or condominiums. We also provide a variety of services to the developer community such as DRE budget development.

History

Established in 2005.

The business was started in 2003 by Edward Szaky as part of a strategy by the board of directors of Shelter, Inc. a non profit corporation, with the hope of assiting that organization in raising funds to aid their mission of addressing homelessness and other social issues in Contra Costa County. In 2005, the business was purchased by Mr. Szaky from Shelter, Inc. and became a part of a newly formed corporation named Matrix Real Estate Services, Inc. Matrix Property Management is a division of that corporation and specializes in the management of common interest developments. We celebrated our fifth year in business in January of 2010.

Business Owner

I have been a part of the real estate industry for over 30 years in various capacities. I have been involved in residential and commercial sales, residential and commercial leasing, residential development and residentail and commercial property management. I hold the following accredidations from various organizations CPM, (Certified Property Manager) PCAM, (Professional Community Manager) and CCAM (Certified Community Manager), the last two being specific to the field of common interest development management. I hold an undergraduate degree from the University of California in Political Science. I am privaledged to serve on the Board of Directors for Habitat For Humanity East Bay and to be a member of the Walnut Creek Host Lions Club. My hobbies include flying, scuba diving and playing softball. God has blessed me in many ways and one of them is my daughter who is nineteen years old and attends school in Santa Barbara.
