Overall experience: 3.5 Came in here on a Friday during lunch. Atmosphere: Very spacey & clean Food: I had food at other Marys Pizza Shack but this one just didnt hit the spot for my cravings. I ordered their lunch special for the pasta & it was very fresh w/the tomatoes & basil but just way too citrusy for my taste. The salad(which is what i really came in for) just didnt do it for me. The dressing was too citrusy which made my salad taste extremely sour. The bread was delicious & warm! Also ordered the tuscan garlic chicken & it was really tasty! Hubby ordered the ceasar wrap i enjoyed that also but he wasnt too much of a fan. Ooooh, & then for desert we had a salted caramel gelato pie. Delicious! However, i was expecting the crust at the bottom to have a graham cracker texture but it didnt since its been in the freezer but we killed that since it was a free bday treat! Service: Awesome!(Alisa, i believe?) was very attentive & made sure we got everything we needed. There seemed like there was plenty of staff to make sure that customers were taken care of. Plus, the food came out extremely fast which made me happy since i was staaaarving!

The food is solid. We ordered a He & She… yummy! My pizza was tasty. My wife’s salad was really fresh and was topped with a fantastic dressing. Service was attentive but the restaurant was only a quarter full just prior to the dinner rush. The wait staff is quite young. They were quite willing and sometimes able. We’ll be back.

Got take out tonight. Payed for an extra meatball and I didn’t get it and two of the three meals tasted like the pasta was tossed in bleach. Will not be returning anytime soon, should have gone to Sorrento’s.

2nd visit in a month and the food is good but both times the service has been horribly slow. Barely any other customers so that wasn’t the problem. The most recent visit was a 30 min wait for an order to be taken. 1.5 hours for a lunch that should have been half that. A bit pricey too. I used to love their minestrone soup but it’s not good anymore. Did they change the recipe? Bottom line is most of the food is tasty, but the service needs some serious help.

Mediocre but willing to try it again. They had a huge party in for dinner and seemed unable to handle the crowd. Our son’s pizza came out so long after our entrees that they got cold while we waited to eat as a family. We asked them to reheat our entrees and our son was done eating by the time they brought them back. My hubby’s polenta was good but the fettuccine entrée I ordered was pretty light on the fettuccine. Disappointing given that pasta is so cheap.

The dining room is big enough to handle a large crowd. They have a good selection of choices besides pizza. I thought about getting a calzone, but decided on pizza. The pizza was great, and the waitress was prompt and friendly! I’m definitely coming back!

Food is always good. Service is always horrible. There is no type of hospitality here and the staff makes you feel like a burden when you have to get up and ask for a refill. Order your food to go instead of dining in.

Took my mom out to dinner as we were running errands in this shopping center and we were famished so decided to check out this restaurant as the options were limited at this location. The server was polite and took our order promptly. There was some confusion when I asked if they had minestroni soup he said they had minestroni and also some kind of meat soup. I did not want meat in my soup so I opted for a minestroni. When the soup arrived I tasted it and saw chunks of sausage or whatever type of meat it was and I let the waiter know he had to double check in the kitchen and confirmed both soups had meat, it was his mistake. He was polite apologized and took off the bill. Next the Caesar salad and pesto pomodoro pasta came and it wasn’t bad but honestly it wasn’t good. Both dishes seemed to lack taste and were just so so. The bread they bring out is warm and delicious. I would go back for the bread and maybe just a plain marinara pasta to be safe.

What an incredible dining experience! The customer service was outstanding and the food was delicious! The manager Rob works his tail off and has created quiet a team environment there. I can’t wait to take my daughter there the next time I come. 10 stars! Love it!

Not a bad pizza if they gave you what you paid for. I ordered a Napolitano on line. I had a choice of tomatoes before the pizza is cooked, or after the pizza is cooked. I clicked on «before». This cost me an extra $ 1.95. When I got the pizza I saw the tomatoes were cooked in. The girl at the counter tells me it always comes that way. Why if it always comes that way was I required to pay $ 1.95 extra for it. Please Marys. Give the customer what they are paying for.

Not a bad first experience. I came here on a complete whim while driving around deciding where I wanted to eat one day. I was craving a Cobb Salad, so being I was in close diameter to Mary’s, I decided to stop in to see if they just might serve the Cobb that I was so eagerly craving. Needless to say, they offered the Cobb :) The service I received from the manager who greeted me and the waitress who served me, was extremely warm and welcoming. The interior of the restaurant also appeared clean and well kept. They offer a more extensive menu aside from just their pizzas, as well as a small but decent wine and beer selection. I ended up ordering a Speak Easy beer in the bottle. It was relatively cheap– I believe around $ 4.00? I then of course ordered their Cobb which consist of the standard Cobb basics: grilled chicken, avocado, bacon, hard boiled egg and blue cheese. I just opted out on the cheese and requested Ranch dressing on the side. Salad arrived appealing enough in presentation. Salad also was pretty tasty for the most. Not one of the better ones I have had, but good. Overall, I had a good experience and am somewhat curious to try one of their pizza’s one time.

I’ve been eating at Mary’s since I was a little kid with my family. Its a great local spot where I always seem to run into people I know. Each entrée comes with your option of soup or salad and I am addicted to their thousand island dressing. They also have complementary sourdough bread. For my entrée I typically get the spaghetti with giant meatball and ask for extra sauce so when you mix in the meatball it’s not too dry, just my tip. The portion is also huge so I always have leftovers which I love, especially after filling up on salad and bread. Another dish I like to get is the chicken fettuccine with meat sauce. The dining room has a mixture of tables, half booths, and regular booths. They also have two mounted tvs that they show sports games on. When I was younger I used to sit up by the pizza makers at the barstools they have and watch them and they’d even give us dough to play with. Such a great family spot.

Showed up at 8:30 on a Saturday night the very young girl at the counter seemed very confused and eventually told us we could sit wherever we wanted to. We satfor approximately 15 minutes nobody ever came by to take a drink order food order or even see if we needed to order. There were multiple tables that were overflowing with dirty dishes and half eaten food nobody seemed to be doing anything other than standing behind the counter which consists of 6 to 8 employees. After waiting that long not getting or order taken decided to go to Melos and get some Italian food.

c’mon people lets tell the truth. an hour ago I saw one of the servers practically rub down every inch of the bread kind of questioning if she should serve it, and she did. Disgusting. It was not one of the young servers. The only reason I gave two stars is because the two servers I delt with were great. The cost for the food you receive is terrible very poor value, VERY small portions. An extreme rip off. Especially if you order to go items. too bad I really wanted this place to be a good neighborhood spot. One very positive note is the blue cheese dressing. Excellent!!!

Okey Dokey here it is. Decided to come here with my two kids and their buddies. They seated us and the waitress seemed like she didn’t want to be at work. She came to take our drink order. I asked for a Speak Easy IPA. She came back with a bottle of beer and I asked her for a mug. She seemed put out but went to get the mug. While she was away I noticed the beer wasn’t what I ordered. It was a Lagunitas instead. When she came back I pointed out that she brought me the wrong beer, to which she replied«Oh that’s all we have.» Ok… so instead of asking me if I wanted something else you just assumed I’d take what ever you brought… wrong. I ordered the spicy chicken wings for us. They came and holy moly they were over cooked, crispy, shriveled things. The waitress never came by for drink refills. we had ask for more napkins. Each time we asked for something I felt as if we were asking her to dig a trench. We ordered pizzas. The pizzas were good tasting, but small for the price. We also ordered a Chicken Fettichini Alfredo that looked horrid. No white sauce at all… looked greasy and bland. I will not look to be returning to this restaurant for a long time. I’ll go to Skipolini’s in the future. I posted a pic of the Chicken Alfredo for all to see.

The first thing you should order is a Mary’s house salad with the Mary’s Italian dressing. The dressing is freakishly amazing! It’s an Italian dressing with red wine vinegar. I swear I could take shots of it all day. Matter fact they do sell the dressing by the pint and quart. I buy it on a regular basis. The meatballs are TODIEFOR!!! I swear they out do my Nonnie’s! I’m trying so hard to word the description properly without sounding dirty. Generous in size and juicy. Just order them! The pizza is great too! Not heavy or greasy. It’s very easy to eat the whole pizza without noticing that you did. Their happy hour is very reasonable and is from 3−6pm M-F. Try the lemon herb chicken wings — you won’t want to share. Don’t forget the Italian dressing!!!

Ok, so the food is pretty good… LOVED their spaghetti, but the meatballs? Just too big for a semi-non meat eater. The price, was way thru the roof. There’s NOTHING on the menu that warrants the prices… And the service is good, but the YOUNG servers need to realize this is NOT Denny’s, but rather a family Resturant that caters to families… Which consists by definition… NAPKINS!!! Bring more than one, and don’t make me ask for more, and do NOT get upset if lack of napkins leads to sticky tables/seats, when you saw us walk in the door. Management-as a former sever, please TRAIN the teens you hire adjusting their attitudes from a table of cute guys/girls, and flirting… To a table of two adults, with two small children needs to be immediate, and OUR table needs you to slow down.

This is the closest pizza place to our house. This is based on the 3 times our family has ate food from Mary’s. One eat in, one pick up and one delivery. So this a percentage based for stars. Plus a bonus. I recommend eating there at the restaurant and not ordering for pick up or delivery. This is where the service and/or food are suffering. Eat in at the restaurant, the food and service were best there. Pick up: if you say be in there in 30 min to pick up the food and I show up there and then wait 20 min because they forgot I guess? Food was quickly thrown together and the quality suffered. Delivery on time but Pizza was was a classic style no extra sauce. Hopefully they can increase their value.

We hadn’t been to Mary’s in ages, but decided to drop by for a mid Friday afternoon lunch. Nothing fancy inside, but definitely a nice comfortable family atmosphere for dining. We haven’t had the best of luck with Italian restaurant chains, and my wife felt her chicken Parmesan was only okay. I opted for the cheese calzone. Not expecting much, this meal was a delightful surprise. The crust of this calzone was really something to rave about. Fresh-baked on site, it is soft, chewy and delicious! The calzone itself is huge, and conveniently sliced into individual pieces. It’s a little different, not a stuffed calzone, the cheese and toppings are on top, somewhat similar to a pizza. Very, very good. We had the mud pie for dessert. Worth ordering; I’ve had better, but this was still fairly good. I will definitely return for another calzone!
