First hour is free. Hours after that are $.50 each.
I have to say, for as much as I’ve explored Walnut Creek, this is by far the best deal. Yeah, people want to find free parking, but seriously, this has to be the best return on your money.
Also, you’re right next to downtown. Just park here. Srsly.

Walnut Creek parking gives me a feeling that I can restore my faith in humanity that parking does not cost an arm and a leg. First hour is free and then after that it’s like 50 cents an hour or something ridiculously small because I paid $ 1 for around 3 hours or perhaps it was free after 6pm. Either way, if you’re tight on time and can’t find street parking, this is a great place to park as it’s super convenient to some of the northern WC restaurants, Lesher Center, and really cheap.

Very easy and affordable. We used this garage to park while we visited the dean lesher theater. You grab a token, pay at the end. Super easy.

Walnut Creek is tucked away inland and is a gem with its own allure. There are many places to go, things to see, food to taste, and on weekends there’s a farmers market! This parking structure is in the heart of it all and instead of dispensing the traditional card that you would pay before you leave, this one gives you an actual token. how fun right? :) until next time.

This garage is great if you own an electronic car. I charge my Nissan Leaf here when I get to work so that I will have enough juice to get home. The staff will not be able to help you out if you have questions because they don’t know much about the pump and how it works. The electronic charger is on the first floor right next to the handicap parking.
I am a fan also because parking is only $ 0.50 cents for an hour. Who can complain? especially if you come from San Francisco where it is $ 2.50 for 15 minutes on Union Street. I am a happy camper at this garage because of the location of the lot, the charging station that is available and because it is only .$ 0.50 to charge my car for 1 hour. Not a bad deal at all!

50¢ per hour. Takes credit cards and I think using my card to enter and exit is the easiest process — better than the token option.
There are entrances/​exits on both Locust and California. It is obviously the parking option for visits to Dean Lesher but it is also a good garage when going to Lettuce, Residual Sugar, Eleve on North Main, etc.
I drive a mid-​sized car and I haven’t had a issue with the size of the parking spots. If you have a large car, follow Ivy’s suggestion to park on the top floor.

The first time I parked here, I was going to an interview in August. At the time, I’m pretty sure the signs said the maximum charge was $ 3.00, which made me happy after experiencing the parking garages in downtown SF. That day I paid $ 1.00 for a little over an hour. I parked her again last week (10÷8÷10) and when I got off work… I paid $ 5.50 (for a little over 10 hrs). Needless to say, I was displeasingly shocked. When I looked at the signs again, they all magically said «maximum charge $ 12.00.»
I agree with Andrew S. that the traffic in the structure is kind of weird AND the openings of each level are way too small — I REALLY hate hearing my tires screech every time I turn. At least I now know it’s not just my car. The only exit being onto California Blvd kind of sucks… it’s hit or miss with traffic, as it really all depends what time of the day you’re exiting the garage.
Up until last Friday, I was more than OK with this parking garage. There’s decent parking if you work in the area, even though the first couple of levels are reserved prior to 9AM. It’s well-​lit and doesn’t smell. I’ve managed to not park in any of these «way too small» parking spaces (maybe I got lucky). The location is superb (at least for me, since my office is not too far away). However, the change in the max charge and the fact that the website still says «max charge $ 3.00» really grind my gears. On the other hand, $ 5.50 in the City would’ve been for like 2 hours so I guess I can’t be TOO upset. I would just like Walnut Creek Downtown to update their website — that’d be fabulous, thanks.

I have had to park here a few times. Mostly for work purposes.
I am a weirdo who likes parking at the top most point of a parking garage. On this day there was an amazing view of Mt. Diablo.
For a great view of the Mt. Diablo on a clear day come up here it’s breathtaking.
True to what the previous reviewer said the parking spots are very small. Only in the actual garage though. For more room you need to go to the top. Don’t mess around in the interior of the garage.
Surrounding restaurants do validate. Even if you forget your validation it’s actually a pretty cheap garage.
