Dr. Lewis has been great. He knows what he is doing and is willing to talk over options, even though I know I’m a challenging patient to work with.

Dr. Lewis and I share the same first name — that’s a plus in my book, I usually like other Alexanders. He was no exception. POSITIVES — great staff and no wait time when I came in. I was about 20 minutes early and actually saw Dr. Lewis BEFORE my appointment time. How often does that happen at a doctor’s office? The front desk lady was super nice and I felt comfortable even though I was freaking out about an eczema outbreak. –Dr. Lewis was honest when it came to how to deal w/my condition and wiling to talk about supposedly effective treatment regimes I’d found online. In the end, my régime didn’t change too much, but I needed to talk a professional about it. –Location is perfect(Broadway Plaza) NEGATIVES — None. I’ll be going back if I’m working in the East Bay and need to see a dermatologist again.

I am puzzled by others’ negative experience with this highly skilled dermatologist. Dr. Lewis has provided me with the most friendly and professional service since the 1990s, I have complete confidence in his judgment. Which makes me skeptical about the criticisms I see here. Their bad grammar and semi-hysterical tone says more about their authors than about the good doctor.

I went there just once and will never come again or recommend this doctor to anyone. Horrible bedside manner, almost rude, feels like he doesn’t care about his patients at all. I also got a prescription for a steroid cream by the way :) Well, it sure helped but…

Dr. Lewis doesn’t have a great bedside manner, but his treatment is working for me. I have a skin condition that produces painful abcesses, and the injection and antibiotic he gave me have helped to control the pain and inflammation.

ABSOLUTLEYTHEWORSTDOCTOR I HAVEEVERSEEN. I can’t tell you how fuming pist I was after leaving his office, what a waist of time and money. First, I get to the office and sit in the waiting room for 15 minutes while the the«doctor» and his staff sit around and talk, mind you, as I can see them through the check in window. Why would you make a patient wait if you have nothing else going. NOOTHERPATIENTWASTHERE. Next, I go into a room and wait for the doctor. He comes in and doesn’t even introduce himself or ask how I am. NOTCOOL. Then I explain to him why I am there(for a rash on my hands) and he tells me he doesn’t get it and makes me explain it to him FOURTIMES. My boyfriend(who was also sitting in the room with me) was astonished by the lack of knowledge this guy had and almost told me to walk out. The doctor had NOIDEA what was wrong and yet he still wrote me a prescription for a steriod cream. Why on earth write a presciption if you don’t know what my problem is. WHAT A WAISTOF $ 50. DONOTWAISTYOURTIME. GOSEESOMEONEELSEWHOISNOT A COMPLETEMORON.
