Tastes healthy, but not sweet. One thing that I struggle with when it comes to juice places is the ripeness of their fruits. Hard to manage inventory without fruit going bad if you are looking for peak sweetness. But overall, tasted ok.

I hate that a bad review had to get me writing again… but I am extremely disappointed by how I was not taken seriously by this locations management. This was probably a new employee who was learning the ropes but they over charged me for one medium smoothie. I noticed it later on my credit card statement. I called and spoke with some form of a manager, who put me on the longest hold I’ve had in a while, that said they could do nothing and had to wait for another manager to help me that would be in the next day. I was told a note was left for this manager to contact me. I did not hear back. I was in the area and stopped by a day or so later. This manager was still not in. This time I wrote down what happened and my contact information to be left for said manager. I never received a call back to rectify the issue. So simple, not looking for anything but a refund… Poor customer service on a management level. I can’t imagine that being a good model for the employees. I don’t give these out lightly but this Jamba Juice gets a one star from me.

Great customer service but not sanitary. They either don’t wear gloves or only on one hand. I specifically asked them to wear gloves on both hand preparing my drink and food, still they didn’t.

I recommend never buying anything from this store. The cashier named Tara threw the muffin I asked her to warm up for my 5 year old child at me on the counter. First she forgot to give to me and then ignored me and helped 2 kids she carried a conversation with until I interrupted her next customer and asked her to please warm up the pastry. Then, she grabbed it very angrily and didn’t apologize and when it was done as it beeped, she grabbed and tossed in bag then on counter without acknowledging me at all and this behavior is in front of my 3 young daughters. What caused this unacceptable behavior? I approached her and told her she behaved very rudely and tossed the bag at me. She had the most evil smirk on her face and said to me she was not rude. I left voicemail for manager and never even received a call back. If the manager promotes this behavior, it is no wonder why their disrespect towards their customers is resulting in unfavorable reviews. 3 days have past with no apology from the store manager. I wanted to make them aware of the embarrassing moment my children witnessed. I will never take them to this chain of juice stores to not show support of this intolerable spoiled and arrogant staff they have employed.

Recently came in to use a Groupon for their cold-pressed juices. I don’t think these are made in the store and I had never tried them before, but I bought a coupon for $ 19 to try all six organic flavors: Orange Reviver, Cayenne Lemonade, Citrus Breeze, Mango Limeade, Tropical Greens and True Greens. Service was friendly and I was helped pretty quickly. Luckily I didn’t have to wait for a drink since my beverages were already bottled, because I only saw one girl working in the front and there were a couple other customers in there too. The place was clean though and she was very sweet and knew exactly what to do with my Groupon, even though she said she hadn’t heard about this deal yet. Juices were delicious — but not quite as yummy as a regular smoothy — certainly less filling though. The regular price is $ 5ish for a single 12 oz bottle, so I probably wouldn’t buy them again without the 43% off deal.

I’ll make this short. Walked in and and an employee was at the register helping a friend get a discount. The girl(she has short red hair) behind the counter already had a short temper and I could tell because once it came to my turn to order she was yelling a greeting at another customer walking in. She didn’t acknowledge me at the register. Didn’t look up from the register. Acted as if I wasn’t standing there. A guy with blonde hair came to second register to help the next customer. I’m sure he thought that the the first girl took my order. The girl at the register said, «oh well I guess he can help you.» And walked off to make drinks. I asked the blonde guy her name. Her name is Apollo Apollo is a nightmare. I work in the area and our store is busy too; there’s no reason to have an attitude like that. Every time I come in Jamba Juice it’s packed. I never complain because nobody can help that. Please consider recruiting new team members.

I have NEVER had a good experience at this Jamba Juice. Customer service is poor, it always takes forever to get my drink, and generally the quality isn’t very good either. They all seem like they hate their job and they make it uncomfortable for customers.

The girl making the drinks was all smiles & really nice but the girl at the register looked like she hated life. She was monotone, didn’t smile once, & just looked so serious. It was uncomfortable. Like girl if you hate your job that much find a new one! Or at least learn how to fake it

Horrible service! I can’t believe these people represent Jamba Juice in Walnut Creek! After trying to convince me that my birthday coupon wasn’t working because I didn’t use it in the month of my birthday(which is not true), I tried to pay with my debit card and she tells me it’s declined when I can clearly see that there’s plenty of money in the bank. The manager there is rude and inconsiderate. It’s obvious she has zero management experience. Jamba Juice, please choose your people wisely. The only reason this location is still in business is because of the LOCATION, nothing more.

So far no complaints about this location. Minus one star because depending on the day it could be a little difficult to find parking(even with the parking garage right behind it). Also included in that minus one star –I’m bummed when I found out they discontinued Tropical Harvest! That was my go-to drink next to Strawberries Wild.

I come here only in emergencies when I need a quick meal during work. The staff lacks enthusiasm and energy. The prices are higher here than the Concord one I usually go to, and I can only assume that’s because they are located in Walnut Creek. I get the same drink every time which is an Acai Super antioxidant with a soy protein boost. At this location it is so inconsistent, and I’m not sure why. it tastes like they add what ever random ingredients they want. Its okay in a hurry, but would not recommend this to be your go-to Jamba.

Just a good-ol’ neighborhood Jamba. Reliable quality, decent service, and a place to sit outside of that’s what you’re looking for. We came in for the St. Patty’s BOGO deal — it has to be years(!) since the last time I had a Jamba smoothie. I appreciate that they have the«Make it LIght» option, which claims to protect you from 1⁄3 of the fat/sugar of the regular smoothies. Since the +1 was going large, I was, too, and went with Caribbean Passion(anyone remember Citrus Squeeze?!). It was good — WAY too good for a smoothie, and after some internet research I discovered that it has 56g of sugar. ‚-( To all the health nuts coming here after your workout — consider eating a banana and calling it a day. If you’re here for a treat, though, grub on!

This is a great place when your looking for a cold refreshment. I tend to keep it healthy and choose from the all fruit and veggies menu. My three favorite are Berry upbeat, strawberry whirl, and pomegranate paradise. Buyer beware this place is super crowded on weekends in the summer. Some smoothies also have sherbet or Greek yogurt in them they also make fresh squeezed juice here. There is a free parking garage right next door so that is convenient.

If you know me, I’m all about service. This place is a hit or miss. I came here one day after a hike with my cute puppy and their juice machine was broken(I wanted to use my groupon), they were able to substitute a fruit and veggie smoothie as per the groupon. When I went in 2 days later, I asked for the substitution again, the girl at the cashier point blank told me no. I pointed out the groupon to her and she was like, sorry, I already rang you up for the other one. We were like, can’t you just still make the other smoothie? 3 of them could not figure out what to do for 5 minutes. At this point, the ignorance and frustration was getting to the employees since when the manager came over the cashier blatantly lied and said I never asked about the substitution. Then the big stocky butchy employee narrowed her eyes at me and ordered to step out of Jamba juice since I was holding my puppy in my arms and said it was not allowed. Seemed just like a jerk move and power play to me when they were fine with it in past visits. End result: the smoothie was good, the employees could use better manners.

This location has set a new low in customer service standards in a franchise that is already getting worse across many of their stores. After reaching the register to order today, the cashier walked away into the back room… and did not return. Not one word said to me about why she was stepping away or when I can expect to be helped. Three other workers were making drinks for the 7 customers who had already ordered, but specifically avoided making eye contact with me or the customers now waiting with me. After waiting three more minutes to be helped, no employee reappeared from the back or offered to help from the team making drinks. I simply left the store. Jamba Juice stores in the Walnut Creek area are starting to routinely treat their customers poorly, rudely, and with disregard for the time they have to wait to be served. Good product, horrible customer service and leadership.

Babysitting a 3 and 6 year old can be a lot of work, especially for someone like me who knows little to nothing about little girls. 3 year old: «Who’s your favorite princess?» Me: «Cersei Lannister from the Game of the Thrones.» 9 year old: «Is she a Disney princess? I don’t know her.» Me: «Oh, were we talking about Disney?» 3 year old: «I love the Disney princesses! I love Frozen!» Me: «I love Cersei Lannister! I love Game of Thrones!» 9 year old: «I don’t know her.» Me: «She’s the most beautiful Queen in all the kingdoms.» So after chit chatting about who Cersei Lannister is(don’t worry I made her sound really nice and beautiful and Disneyesque) I decided to get something to drink. I paid for an orange-carrot juice so imagine my surprise when AFTER I paid they told me their orange juice presser wasn’t working. «Fine,» I said, «just give me the kale smoothie.» They told me their were out of cucumber and other ingredients to make the smoothie. Geez! It’s like being in a pasta shop and finding out that they’re not only out of pasta but out of flour too! So they substituted my drink for some lame green drink which wasn’t even what I wanted or came in here for in the first place. And they couldn’t issue me a refund because the girl was new and couldn’t operate the register. Sheesh…where is Cersei Lannister when you need her. She would have taken care of this and then some!

Overall, I’m a fan of Jamba Juice, but this location leaves much to be desired. First of all the music is constantly blasting-so much so that you need to literally shout your order and hope they heard you. Secondly, they never seem to have enough workers to handle the volume of customers here. I’ve been here during peak hours with only one person behind the counter and one smoothie maker. Workers tend to be rude. I’m on Jamba’s mailing list and get text coupons from them as well, yet any time I get an electronic coupon from them, I get an argument or attitude about using it. To prove my point on my how inept they are, as I stand here now with a line out the door and literally wall to wall patrons standing inside waiting for their orders, they’ve got one person making samples and pouring out the mini cups of them versus trying to move the line along. Fools…

Hit the spot! But I’m pretty sure I aged a bit while waiting to order, then waiting for my smoothie. I frequent my local Jamba Juices multiple times a week and this was by far the slowest moving service I’ve yet to receive! The smoothie itself was good, but it’s kind of hard to mess up their smoothies.
