very poor experience. There was a mistake on our taxes – on the part of HR Block. The amended return, done by HR Block was also done incorrectly. These delays caused a 6+ month delay in getting money we needed. Nor were either of the errors caught by HR Block. Trying to get someone to address my dissatisfaction has been near impossible. Even thought we have been coming to HR Block for years, we will not be going back.

I had some minor tax issues in 2010 — just trying to get the IRS to actually acknowledge some paperwork — it was a huge hassle. I finally went to this place for assistance. Not only did they help me (three times I went here) but they didn’t charge me a dime. Sonia Tavares I met with twice when I was here and the third time, Sonia was on vacation and another lady who is here a couple days a week assisted me — they were great.
The issue was eventually worked out so if you’ve got some tax prep you need done that more complicated than your basic Taxact online forms, I suggest going here. They’re honest and do a good job. I recommend this place.
