Disclaimer: I did not end up bringing my car here. I called to ask about pricing and it was $ 78 to have my truck tested, with no coupon.
The next day I called just before bringing it in to make sure the wait was reasonable, mentioned I had a local coupon for 50% off, and now the retail price is $ 140… Ends up being the same price either way.

for the Lafayette location; I took two cars there… both failed. I was told that Shell Lafayette has faulty smog testing equipment. I went elsewhere… both cars passed.

In and out in 10 – 15 minutes and passed. Included a dyno test. Nice guys, efficient, easy to deal with (especially with a ½ off coupon). They also have a location at the Lafayette Shell station. I will go back next time I need the smog check for the car registration.
A real relief compared to my last go-​around over several days with another company (who may no longer be there). Also, good location near Kaiser and Trader joe’s.
