Love this place. Good food, super casual. I feel like I can always come here. Take out is awesome. So easy. Great parking! I love the pad thai, pumpkin curry, and spring rolls. Also, the coconut water comes in a coconut!

This place was delicious. Everything we ordered was very tasty and a good portion size. The only reason I am knocking them down one star is because they do not have my favorite noodle dish Radh Nah.

Dosit in Thai means«heavenly». In some ways the restaurant is heavenly. The dining room is quiet and our server, decked out in a princess robe was not only low key zen like but also efficient and charming at the same time. The restaurant is tucked away in the Palos Verdes Mall which is easy for us to get to and has plenty of free parking. Since we are not accustomed to the Thai cuisine we opted for the lunch combination. The combo comes with either coconut soup or cucumber salad and gives you a choice of two entrees. I chose to start with soup then went with the chicken satae and thai bbq pork for the entrée. The coconut soup had some chicken and mushroom and was rich with a hint of sweet coconut. The bbq thai pork was very tasty and went well with the sauce but the chicken satae was somewhat on the dry side, very thin and hardly enough to make an opinion. The peanut sauce that accompanied the satae was very flavorful. My wife opted for the bbq chicken and fried prawns. Her chicken was very flavorful and came with two pieces and the prawns were plentiful and came with various fried vegetables. Lunch specials run $ 12.95 each and come with, you guessed it, plenty of free water with lemon. We plan to come back for dinner prepared to award this fine establishment 5 stars.

Since I was working mother day, I couldn’t really spend it with my mom so we decided to go out to lunch during the week! We love Thai food and needed a new place to try out and we found this spot. Their Lunch special is really good and it’s priced well and the service is great! Seems like everything is made from scratch, def worth a try and we will be back!

So in the past month I have been here 3 times. The food is so delicious and the service is so friendly. This restaurant is really such a hidden gem. I can not get enough of the shrimp pad thai! From the thai ice tea to the fried fish it’s all so yummy! I’m so happy to have tried this restaurant out. It’s perfect for a date night, family night or just a table for one for lunch.

Our go to Thai restaurant! I’ve dined in only once and it was great. We get takeout every month or two. Sometimes we have to wait for our order longer than expected, but it’s worth it. Prices are competitive, if not less expensive than what’s more local for us. We usually get chicken satay, pad Thai, Panang curry, and chicken curry. All are excellent. We’ve had fresh and fried spring rolls as well as basil chicken and chicken with spinach. Again, terrific dishes. I HIGHLY recommend Do Sit.

Pretty good Thai food. Mint rolls and catfish were delish, spicy eggplant basil tofu was soggy and awful. Everything else(pad Thai, yellow curry, red curry) was pretty standard!

I really like this place. My husband and I go often and have ordered almost every item on the menu. I love the spicy eggplant and all their curry dishes. The service is great, the food comes quickly and the place is really pretty.

Very good quality Thai food. Everything I’ve eaten there is delicious. Their coconut chicken that soup that they give you before your lunch meal is complimentary and so delicious. Their Thai noodle soup is simple and delicious. I always order the duck curry which is off the menu but so good! Everything tastes fresh and high quality.

Two of us showed up on a Sunday evening for dinner. We were told we could be seated, but that it would be relatively slow service. They were clearly understaffed; only one person was waiting on all the tables. After sitting at our table for 45 minutes, we decided to leave since they hadn’t even brought us water yet(even though at least one other table that arrived after us had received their waters), much less taken our orders. I guess at least they warned us about it in advance, so they delivered exactly what they promised???

This is my «go to» Thai place for takeout. Everything I’ve ordered has been delicious. I especially love the chicken pad thai and the crispy rolls. The actual restaurant is really cute, clean, and everyone who works there is nice. I’ve only dined in once, but that experience was wonderful as well! I highly recommend it for anyone who loves Thai food!

I wish I could rate the food separately from the customer service because the service would get 5 stars and the food 3. Pros: quick, friendly customer service; fried rice, they offer chicken breast, BBQ chicken was good, garlic and pepper sauce delicious. Cons: Pad Thai is dry, shrimp is not de-veined, no sides come with the grilled meats.

Oh my gosh these guys! Where do I start? In my eyes they are an epitome of excellent and one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever been to! Don’t forget to have their Tom Kha Gai soup — it is soooooo good! Their Pad Thai, their fish cake, Tom Kha(blockbuster!), Spicy Beans with Tofu, their Pumpkin Curry, their yellow curry, all the shrimp items etc — I have tried them all and love it. They also have such a cute name for their restaurant — ‘Do sit’, how cute is that! I love this restaurant. It’s one of my favorite! The service is also very good. We have been here quite a bunch of times and the lady is so sweet.

Do Sit is the opposite of many Thai restaurants that I’ve been to. The seats are clean and not covered in plastic, the décor is tasteful, and a pleasant woman will banter with you, serve you your food, and cash you out with a big smile. It’s very easy to like Do Sit at first glance. With lunch, you get this delicious chicken coconut milk soup that is so good. You’ll want the entire bowl. You’ll want a lake of it. You really will. I got pad see eew with pork, and the flavor was good, even though the noodles were a lot sticker than I wanted them to be, but perhaps that’s just my preference. It also came with a side salad, which I didn’t manage to touch at all. I was far too full. Do Sit is a great place for a lunch with a friend or coworkers. The food comes out swiftly, and the service is great. If you’re in the area, give Do Sit a try.

OMG, DOSITHERE and try it! My only disclaimer is that I did not sit here to eat, but ordered out. I’m only a 10 minute drive away, and my food was still deeelish!!! The lady that took my order was nice, so no issues with service. First impressions upon walk in, wow, what a nice waiting area with leather chairs and a fireplace, cool! Walked around to the dining area and was greeted. Checked out the dining area and said OHWOW again! It’s a pretty small dining area with tables and booths, but looked clean and classy! I’d say with this place being sort of hidden gem, this would be an excellent choice for a first date. Romantic, but not overly romantic. It was 2pm, so I ordered a Lunch Combination for $ 10.95. You pick from List A and B, and it comes with Thai fried rice(hot and fresh): ~ Fish Cake(from list A) — Fried ground white fish blended with curry paste, sliced green beans, served with cucumber topped with ground peanut. Like a super firm tofu, these cakes were ‘off the hook’ good! Not fishy smelling and great tasting with the small cucumber salad side. ~ Panang Curry(from list B) — Thai style beef curry in coconut milk and red chili with a touch of sweet basil and carrots. OMG, WOW for a third time! This was one of the BEST tasting panang curries I’ve ever tasted, and I’m not usually a curry eater. But this was just perfect, from the tender meat down to the flavor. Mmm mmm, I’d order this again next time! I also ordered Pad Thai, $ 8.95. Because whenever I try out a new Thai restaurant, it determines if I return or not. Pad Thai just cannot be messed up. Now, their pad thai wasn’t bad at all. A little dry, but better than being super oily. Good flavor, only lacking a hint of sweetness. The shrimp was fine, and the sprouts were crispy. And I’m sooo glad they didn’t add purple cabbage! T’was delish! Total: $ 21.59, what a bargain! They’ve got a lot on the menu, so next time I DO plan to SIT and even predict a 5th star. My fellow Unilocalers, John B, Denise L, and Terri N gave this place a solid 4-Stars. And I agree with Rachel C. that«this is so far the BEST Thai Restaurant in Contra Costa County».

One of my favorite days of the week is «date night». We try to find places that are affordable but yet serve great food. The added bonus is the romantic ambiance and Do Sit Thai, definitely brings the romance. The décor is modern with earth tone colors. The white leather comfy seats compliment the dark tables. The tea light candles on each table and the added dim lighting makes this restaurant a romantic dinner place to dine without breaking the bank. The service is great(5+ stars) and I like the timing on how the food was brought to us. We ordered the following items: Appetizer: Fresh Mint Rolls(4 star) it lacked the«mint». I did like the added veggies and tofu with the peanut sauce. QT: ask for extra mint if this is important for you when ordering this appetizer. Soup: Tom Yum(3.5 star) it lacked the«spicy/hotness». If you like your soups spicy then ask them to make it extra hot, otherwise; it’s served mild. I wasn’t a fan of the soup base but my honey liked it, he just wished it was spicy. Main Dish: Tofu Green Curry(5 stars). I loved the green curry, perfect amount of spices and heat. The veggies were not overcooked which I absolutely love. A must order! The single serving of rice can feed two people unless you are a big eater. We shared one serving. Dessert: Mango Sticky Rice(4 stars). The rice was cooked well and the mango was sweet but I was not a fan of the coconut sauce and the presentation. I’m so glad my honey found this place. I will have to say this is so far the BEST Thai Restaurant in Contra Costa County that I’ve tried. Whether you are vegan, vegetarian or love meat; I recommend you trying out this place. It’s where every person with any type of dietary restrictions can meet up and have a meal together.

For my first review of the year, I have to spread some good karma for a place with awesome staff. As you know, they make all the difference. You wouldn’t expect this surprise in a random strip mall. Superb service and flavorful food! FOOD: — — — I’ve only been here for lunch, so this review is based entirely on the afternoon experience. * Tom Kha(complimentary) — Tasty coconut milk based broth with a touch of chicken and mushrooms. Very comforting especially during cold weather. 4 stars. * Tuna Tartare(appetizer) — Lovely presentation in 3 separate glasses and very interesting combination of ingredients: tuna tartare, mango, and avocado all topped by seaweed. Personally our group found the mix of flavors a little disconcerting between the spicy sauce and mango, but the quality of the tuna was good. 3.5 stars * Garlic & Pepper Prawns — Delicious and perfectly cooked. My only complaint is that there are only about 5 – 6 prawns, which is not quite worth the $ 9.50. If there were a few more, I would definitely give out a perfect rating. 4 stars. * Pad Thai — So sometimes I like to get the typical dish preferred by Americans. Excuse me! It’s so good here you can’t help but love their preparation. Not every Thai restaurant gets it right… sometimes it’s too watery or bland. But not here! The ingredients and flavors are very well proportioned to each other. 4.5 stars. AMBIANCE /SERVICE: — — — — — — — — — — - Lunchtime is relatively slow, which makes for a nice quiet atmosphere. Clean, modern décor with a lot of natural light during the day makes for a lovely dining environment. You definitely wouldn’t see this coming if you compared it to the outside. The parking lot has ample space, so no problems there. Service is very attentive and accommodating. 5 stars. TIP: Don’t judge a restaurant by its strip mall!
