Prior to becoming a licensed Electrical and General Contractor, I worked as a foreman, then General Manager of Provident Construction, a high-​end Residential Remodel Firm in Orinda CA, working on multi-​million dollar whole house renovations. Since obtaining my CA Contractor’s license, CA#831 734 B & C-​10 plus EPA Lead Renovator Initial, I’ve rebuilt one home from scratch, done kitchen and bath remodels, complex electrical trouble-​shooting, lighting automation, solar photo-​voltaic electrical installation, and performed numerous multi-​trade repairs.

For several years I worked as a software and digital hardware designer and worked evenings and weekends renovating a succession of places where I lived. After switching from hi-​tech to the trades for my livelihood, I have found that I enjoy customer contact and the active lifestyle of the building trades much more than sitting isolated in a cubical. I particularly love the collaboration between the owner and builder that I get working in the trades. If we work together, I’ll be present on your job every work day, I’ll return your calls, finish your job before I leave for a new one, and I won’t be satisfied with the job until you are.
