The Wallingford Victorian Inn

My bofriend and I spent a night here to celebrate our first anniversary. We were greeted by Meldalinda, the innkeeper, who was an excellent host. The Georgiana Tibbits Suite was beautifully furnished and the house, which was purchased about a year ago and restored to its original glory, was just gorgeous inside and out. My only regret is not taking advantage of the fact that we were the only guests and tour the other rooms. All the suites are unique. We did, however, take advantage of wine hour in the music room/​parlor and breakfast at the beautiful window seat in the dining room. Meldalina is an excellent cook! If you find yourself following the Connecticut Wine Trail, please be sure to spend a night at this cozy B&B.

Updated, beautiful historic inn located adjacent to Choate Rosemary Hall. I stayed at the inn last month for a few weeks and had an amazing experience. The inn is clean and beautifully appointed. The innkeeper, Theresa, is a warm, welcoming, and very accomodating. She made our stay so fun and comfortable. Lots of additional perks in the room and hotel. I will definitely return!
