Before opening his care center in Wallingford, Zaki, 36, was working with a medical group in White Plains, N.Y., and commuting from Fairfield. Realizing the commute was becoming too difficult, Zaki said he decided to leave his group and become an owner of his own practice. Being in Wallingford also allows him to be closer to his family.
