History

Established in 2007.

Over 30 years ago, as a response to not getting paid enough to make a decent living, a trained jazz pianist recalled the carpentry skills, and work-ethics taught to him by his grandfather. This entrepreneur’s name is Keith Santora and he decided to go into business… building, repairing, and designing– just like his grandfather taught him.

His first forays into the carpentry business was as sole proprietor of Specialty Woodworking which led to a partnership in a company called Town and Country Custom Builders, a high-end, full-service remodeling company. Soon after the principal partner decided to leave the area, and according the changing needs of the public, Keith founded HandyWorks of CT, a home repair company. The company flourished, and as a direct result of clients requesting remodels and improvements, HandyWorks Remodeling was born.

HandyWorks Remodeling is a multi-purpose, family-owned and operated company specializing in residential and light-commercial remodeling.
